Brian Kinney is the editor of "Out & Proud," a well-known gay publication. Justin Taylor is a brilliant young journalist working for the same publication and Brian's life partner.  During their ongoing search for new, interesting items to write about, Brian sends Justin to meet with Vic Grassi, who was one of the prominent figures of gay life in the Pitts in the 1970's and 1980's.  Justin is somewhat reluctant to take the assignment at first, but after he learns more about Vic and his fascinating life story —as well as his special bond with Brian — he's more inspired than ever before.

An account of the three days Michael and Brian spent at the hospital, after Justin was bashed. Takes place right at the end of episode 122 and moves forward from there.

Can Michael top Ben? Ben hints to Michael that he would like Michael to top him occasionally. Michael, who has only topped once years ago and it wasn’t great, panics and turns to Brian for help, but Brian tells him to talk to Justin. 

Justin is tired of his and Brian's "relationship." It seems Brian is merely experimenting with the concept of love - and that he, Justin, has been unwillingly cast in the role of a canary in a coal mine to test Brian's ability to be part of a couple. Meanwhile Brian is struggling with the realization that buying Justin stuff like flowers and taking him on a trip to Vermont doesn't mean he's selling-out to the straight world. Will Brian figure it all out before Justin slips through his fingers? Canon compliant. The story is complete and has six chapters.

Surprise! I know I've been away from writing for quite a while, but I have a new short story that I hope you will find somewhat worth the wait. The setting is post Season 5 by several months. Brian has developed a unique problem that he has only faced one other time. He turns to the psychologist who helped him with Justin's problem after the bashing in hopes of finding a solution. Will the good Doctor figure out the puzzle that is confronting Brian and help him solve it? I dedicate this to Lori, who had been a blessing in my present chaotic life and given me much needed incentive to get back to my writing.
