This story is the sequel to, "To Be, Or Not To Be", and situations here will refer heavily back to it.  Gus is now a teenager, with all the usual teenage growing pains, and some not so usual.  There are other family problems with his parents that will come to light, but carry consequences.  But when Gus starts making decisions and choices for himself, one set of parents fights against it, while the other encourages him.  Brian and Justin, too, will face their own dilemmas, some of which are unalterable.

Justin’s mom died on his eleventh birthday. His dad, Craig married Debbie and he moved to Debbie’s house in New York. He and his stepbrother Michael didn’t go along. One day he met a young singer Brian Kinney and fell in love with the handsome brunet, only to get hurt over and over.

This is Brian's journey roughly two years after the end of the series. He and Justin have been living in New York City where he has just opened a new branch for Kinnetik. He knows he is going to have to make some major changes in is life and deal with a past that has haunted and shaped the man he knows he is. He is finally ready to face his demons and become the man he wants to be.

This story has many of the old gang we love and lots of new characters too.

I thought that when Brian and Justin spoke to one another in S5E13, that there was more to the story.  This is what I thought was said which changed the ending of the show.

Justin returns to Pitssburgh, and goes house hunting with Brian.  Brian is prompted to leverage Jennifer to insure the perfect home.

Michael Novotny was in love. Even though it's only been a week since he first met Ben, that much is for certain. He'd figure out how he felt about Ben's connection to one of his friends later.

It's a little ficlet about Debbie (and Carl) taking place in 2014. Someone on Tumblr sent me a prompt with my favorite QAF character and the word "believe" so I came up with this.

Terminus was a lie. There was no sanctuary there. With nowhere to go, the only real option is to go to Washington to find another cure. Only their struggles are going to get worse. With Justin gone, the fear of being bitten has resurfaced tenfold. But it's the living who they need to fear more. With cannibals, walkers, and a mad scientist out to make the perfect weapon chasing them, can the family pull it together long enough to make it to Washington alive?

Sorry is this summary sucks but I was very tired when I typed it and it's the best I got. Please give it a try though because I promise it's a lot better than it sounds!! Also I know it's a cliché title, but I couldn't think of one. With that side, if you guys come up with a better one review and let me know and I'll think on it:)

Post-513. It’s been three years since Justin returned from New York to live with Brian. Now for the first time, Justin’s family has been invited to Christmas dinner at Britin. Recently remarried, Jennifer asks Brian for advice about how to deal with her son’s dislike of his new stepfather.

Seven years after the end of the show, Brian retreats to a life that is much less glamorous than in the past.  But now he decides to change that.

This is my second story written for the 2013 Summer Fanfiction Challenge.

Post 513 - Justin lives in New York with his son Bryson. Brian still lives in Pittsburgh and is extremely close to Gus. Brian and Justin haven't spoken to one another since Justin left with Ethan 18 years ago. Although time changes many things in life, there are some things that time can never change. When fate conspires to bring them together again, will history be rewritten? Or will history simply repeat itself? Ready or not, whatever may happen, the time has come.
