An alternate ending to season two and how Justin and Brian could have avoided the break-up.

Brian and Justin have been together for seventeen years, well, more or less: seventeen years have passed since the night of their meeting, the one in which Gus, the son of Brian and his friend Lindsey, was born and since then they have been on and off regularly.

Gus, however, is willing to do anything for his relationship to be as smooth as silk, but he has just moved to Pitsburgh and the only thing he is sure of is that life is a mess and this, in essence, is the only thing on which father and son agree.

Justin and Brian don't know each other. Justin tries to score with Brian.

This story includes somewhat shy teenage Justin who is definitely not experienced and teenage Brian who just likes Justin way too much and enjoys being all fluffy with him. I don’t think this story has an actual plot other than the boys are not together in the beginning and things process from there in an interesting, not really cliché way. This story is full of more or less fluffy scenes after fluffy scenes. Plus this story has loads of cuddling mostly initiated by Brian. If that is not your thing, do not go further. And keep in mind that because this story basically has no plot do not expect any huge dramatic events or plot twists.

Justin should have caught on sooner. Like when Brian had forgotten his storyboards at home or blanked out when it came to the name of an object. But he didn't. Even though he should know better, he wonders if catching on more quickly would have made much of a difference in his partner's fate.

Justin will remember his 18th birthday for a very long time - Brian made sure of it. Food play and smut, strawberries and whipped cream. No angst, only hotness.

To catch your attention, a little quote: Every time I thought I couldn't take it any longer, he would stop for a second or two to give me time to catch my breath and compose myself. And then he would come back to exploring every inch of my skin with his skilled mouth and tongue, leaving traces of a burning fire on my body, then cooling them down by blowing slightly on my wet skin, then setting me on fire again. It must have lasted an eternity.

Justin gets a puppy, Brian is less than enthused

Mary Sue-ism at it’s worst.  Inspired by an IM conversation with another QAF fic writer too late at night, and there may be alcohol to blame, too.

I know, not a very creative title, but my brain has officially shut down for the night. 

So I tried really hard to get this posted by midnight, not as part of a challenge, but for Jackie Mag's birthday! That's right, love, this story is dedicated to you! Sorry I didn't get more done, and it's posting late, but I wanted to have a few decent chapters, and some steaminess just for you. 

This story was actually inspired by a plot bunny posted by  Deb Tanner. I'm usually not much of one for plot bunnies and turning them into stories, but there was one that just seemed to catch my attention. It's me, so I couldn't do a quick, simple story, and this story will fit into QAF canon.

The plot idea as proposed:   It seems that 12 yr. old Jenny Rebecca, Michael's little Honeybun, has her first crush… Justin is very flattered.

This story is a WIP, but it will be finished by the end of the week, promise. 

Justin comes home... but to which house? That is the question...

Brian was always to blame for everything that went wrong with the Liberty gang. After a little introspection on everyone’s part, they found this wasn’t really the case. What will the family’s reaction be when they realize that they’ve all caused their own pain.

At least, until that morning in April when he walks into work to find a hideous little flower arrangement on his desk. Naturally, he makes it quite clear that Cynthia is to shoot anyone bearing flowers on sight should they endeavor to accost him again...

Author's Note: This is a work in progress. I am a slow writer - there's no getting around that - but I promise that it will be completed. Comments feed the muse. Just sayin'.

4/8/22  So. That author's note was written a long, long time ago. I wrote it with the best of intentions, I swear. But life happened, and for reasons I won't go into here, I couldn't bring myself to continue writing a story with this subject matter. But that little folder has lived on my desktop for all this time, and I have never forgotten where I left our boys. And so, one day a month or so ago, I opened it up and spent some time reminding myself just how much I love Brian and Justin and Queer As Folk. I still have reservations writing about cancer for 'entertainment'. I am no medical professional, nor have I personally experienced anything like what Brian is going to go through. But I've done more research for this than anything else I've ever done, and I've tried to treat it with the sensitivity and respect it deserves. Please forgive any inaccuracies.

I don't even know if anyone will give it a chance again, but I owe to those of you who trusted me and read it all those years ago (and to the boys) to keep my word and try to finish this beast. I hope you'll join me.
