Brian has a new client. He has to make them new product packages. He did not expect it to end like this. 

Brian loses a bet and has to take the gang to an expensive restaurant but the boys think a fancy dinner is not enough.

At the end of Brokeback Mountain, we watched Ennis try to deal with losing Jack. This is the story of what it was like from the other side.

This story has many of the old gang we love and lots of new characters too.

A/N: I realize that Thanksgiving holiday is pretty much over, but this story idea came to me DURING Thanksgiving dinner at my mother's, so as soon as I got home I got to writing and spent the rest of the weekend working on it. Couldn't help it, sue me! Since it's still technically the Thanksgiving weekend, I decided to go ahead and post it. Let me know what you think. Now, for the summary...

Summary: Justin's stuck in Europe during a natural disaster (nothing terrible happens, I promise) and is doing his best to find his way home for their first Thanksgiving back together, while Brian is at home doing everything he can to help his Sunshine give the best Thanksgiving dinner their family and friends have ever had.

Justin is out late again, with that other man, and it is killing Brian. But why is he out so late that night?

Justin has some news for Brian: he's pregnant. Unfortunately, Justin only finds this out after the burglary, and when he goes to tell Brian he's not interested in listening. Scared, alone and pregnant - what is Justin going to do?

It isn't the last night before Justin leaves for New York. Brian knows this... but that isn't very comforting. He'd rather stay awake until the last day wishing that all good things didn't come to an end...

Despite the love and the sexual tension between him and Brian, Justin decides to live his life without the presence of his great love, but a threat from the past returns, changing their plans.

No mate, male or female, has ever survived the birth of a child that's half vampire half human if they remained human. The child never survives either. So, when Justin, a human mate of Brian Kinney, becomes pregnant, survives it, and so does their child, one would think life would be happy and loving after the birth right? Wrong.

Rated R to be safe! I don't know how this story will go rating wise so I'm just gonna say R to be safe and I'll change it if I need to.

This one chapter story is set early in season 5 as Justin grows more frustrated by Brian's reluctance to commit. It explores a single interaction between our boys in which Justin determines what he really needs. Just because it's not a fairytale doesn't mean it's not still a happy ending. 

It's been about six months to a year since they won back the prison. Since then the group has brought in a lot of people and they've made a life for themselves. All that changes though when people start to turn without getting bit or scratched and James and the Governor return. Not only that, but Justin's been acting weird. His mark's getting worse for some reason and he's slowly getting sicker. With everything going on nothing will ever be the same for the family.

This is a little ficlet I wrote for a fanfiction challenge.  I was given a QaF couple (Ted and Blake), along with three words/phrases: winter, power failure, and dinner and the challenge was to incorporate them into a short fic.
