....................................................................................................................................... Chapter Sixteen: PRECIOUS SNOW Brian slowly woke up wrapped in the big dark red duvet, feeling a heavy body covering his. He remembered the previous night and tried to think about the details of what happened. Justin was still soundly asleep, his head resting on Brian’s stomach and his arms wraps around his waist. Brian barely opened one eye, and suddenly almost jumped out of his skin when he saw Emmett sitting in Indian-style on the sofa across the room. Emmett is staring freakishly at him while eating red gummy-bears from a bag between his legs. “I see you made a new friend.” Emmett says with a stupid grin. “Keep it quiet Emm.” Brian whispered, he rubbed his forehead and leaned back, making sure not to wake Justin from under the duvet covering them both. “Fuck…” Brian cursed under his breathe. “Oh, moody.” Emmett whispered like Brian told him. Brian smiles. “Fuck, I forgot you were coming this morning. Why do you always have to come so early?” “Do I really have to tell you again?” “No. Please don’t.” Brian smiled. Emmett smiled. “So, who’s the blond that’s sleeping on your crotch?” “He’s not sleeping on my…” Brian looks down. “Well he wasn’t like two minutes ago.” Emmett laughs. “Can I keep him Brian? He’s so adorable!” “No, I am.” Brian’s voice changes to his serious tone. “Besides who knows what you would do with a human being…” “Mmmm… all the things I could teach him…” He pretends to think. Emmett gets up with his half empty bag of red gummy-bears. He kisses the top of Brian’s head as he walks to the kitchen. “Do you have anymore cappuccino?” Emmett asks trying not to yell. “Top shelf.” Brian answers and cuddles back to ‘bed’, sliding further under Justin. Emmett makes his personal vanilla cappuccino with marshmallows floating on top and walks back to the sofa. “Tell me.” Emmett snaps. “Name is Justin. Met him. Talked to him. Keeping him. And now under him.” Brian quickly says “Don’t you know me well enough? Details, Bri. I want details.” Brian explained to him the story about Justin and became silent. “Oh, Brian, your life’s a fairytale…” Emmett awed. “Is he gonna wake up any time soon or did you prick his finger with a spindle?” “Ummm… Can’t tell you Emm, I gave him drugs…” “You fucking drugged him?” Emmett shrieks. “Calm down Emm, no I did not drug him, well yeah… it’s just valium.” Brian explains. “Ah…” Emmett said and calmed down. “Why…?” “Don’t wanna talk about it.” Brian softly said and closed his eyes. He pointed towards Emmett’s coffee and Emmett leaned over to hand it to him, Brian took a sip and gave it back. Emmett takes a look at Justin. “There’s something strange about him.” He states. Brian frowns. “What’s strange? He’s not strange.” “No, I mean a good strange, like I’ve seen him before…” “Do you know him?” Brian asks. “No, I said ‘like’… it’s just a feeling, but I never saw him before.” Emmett softens his voice. “Remember when Lady Asia told me I had a third eye…” He says pointing to his forehead. “Yeah, that crazy bitc-” “She’s not a crazy bitch! She’s a psychic-reader.” Emmett interrupts him. “Right…” Brian agrees before Emmett yells and wants to have a duel with him to see who’s telling the truth. “Yeah, she said that I had a thing for ‘seeing people’ and that I can feel it. It’s true I felt it with Lady Asia herself and that blind man in the park.” “And you ‘feel’ it with Justin?” “Sort of. Like right here.” He says touching a small spot on his hairline. “What do you feel?” Brian looks at him. “I don’t know, do you seriously think I can you about tell this stuff?” Emmett says. “Maybe you just fell down and hit your forehead.” Brian says starting to get annoyed. “No, he has it too.” Emmett gets up from his seat and walks close to Brian. He kneels beside the couch and brushes Justin’s blond hair away from his face. They see a small scar on his forehead. “He has a scar.” Brian whispers. “What did you do inspect him while we were asleep?” Brian says sarcastically. “You know I didn’t.” Emmett says, not bothering about Brian’s comment and more concerned with Justin. Brian gently touches Justin’s scar. “He never got stitches, look at the way it healed.” Emmett looks at it like ‘ah- would you look at that, Brian’s right…’ “Whatever. One imperfection can’t be that bad.” Brian snaps and tries to get Emmett away from Justin, but Emmett ignores Brian’s attempt to make him back off. “Wait…” Emmett says softly. “Emmett leave him alone, you’re freaky.” Brian tries to protect Justin by holding his shoulder. “Bri, wait, what’s that?” Emmett carefully holds Justin hand. “That’s a ring Emm, you have like, ten of them…” “It’s made of diamond.” Emmett states. “How do you know?” Brian says and looks at Justin’s right middle finger, and carefully inspects the ring, it’s plain and clear white like snow. “What kind of princess would I be if I didn’t?” “Right. So…” Brian exhales heavily. “The guy carries a white diamond on his middle finger.” Emmett says raising his eyebrows. Brian frowns, giving him his biggest ‘what-the-fuck-is-your-point?’ look. “Emm, you’re just imagining things.” Emmett’s about to say something but can’t describe his feelings in words. “N-no. I don’t imagine-…” Brian places his left hand on Emmett neck. “Emm, thank God you’re pretty. Forget about it okay? If anything wrong happens with Justin I’ll let you know alright?” Brian smiles sweetly. “Now go get you’re gummy-bears and watch ‘Rebel without a cause’” …………………………………………………………
