Okay, Third chapters out. I wanted to update tonight, so I broke up the chapter into two parts (Part two is almost finished) Brian hasn't made partner at Vangaurd yet, and Michael owns the comic book store. Hope you enjoy!

Justin walked into the deserted Babylon around noon the next day. He had caught the red headed go go boy from the other night, to get a card ("The Sap's" card) He had told him to be here at 11:30 am. So he was a little late.

He found himself in-front of "Sap's" office door, ready to do whatever it took to get a job. He knocked three times and was answered with a "What!?" Justin chuckled, the red head had told him that Sap was a bit touchy. "Pizza!"Justin called, hearing a small "bout fucking time" before the door swung open. Justin saw an irritated looking man, with broad features and a receding hair line. "Where's my fucking pizza?!"

Justin blushed, "heh, yeah, that was a joke, I didn't know you had actually ordered pizza..."

Sap looked Justin up and down, and finally rested on his face. "Who the fuck are you, and why are you here?" He asked with narrowed eyes. "Justin," Justin straightened up a bit "one of your go go boys said you were looking for more dancers..."

"Who?" The irritated man asked "I'll fire him!"

Justin cocked an eyebrow "Does that mean a position just opened?" He asked, with a bright smile. Sap couldn't help it, he smirked, sizing up the blonde again. He stepped to the side, and motioned Justin into the large office. "Come in." Justin hesitated and Sap sighed, "you want a job, or what?" He nodded before stepping inside the spacious office. Tinted windows lined the far wall, looking down onto the dance floor, while monitors lined the wall to the left, showing various angles of the dance floor, bathroom, and what looked like the back-room as well. Sap walked around Justin and sat behind the large desk, "so, Justin..."

"Sap" Justin responded, "is that your real name?" He asked.

The man seemed irritated by the question, but answered anyway "Saperstein, Its Saperstein."

Justin sat down in the chair across from the desk, "Yeah, that fits you much better" He sent Saperstein a sultry look, that made the man cock an eyebrow.

"Flirting will get you nowhere, blondie" Saperstein replied, smirking.

"Darn," Justin said in fake disappointment, he leaned forward "will a blow job help?" he asked, no trace of humor on his face. The office went quiet as Saperstein stared at Justin, finally he cracked a smile and laughed. "I like you Justin, you're funny, but this isn't a comedy club..." Sap ignored him as Justin let out a disbelieving "Really?" "How do I know you can dance?"

"I can dance" Justin said simply, as if it was obvious. "Any... professional experience?" Sap asked.

"I used to be a stripper." Justin smiled at the memory, "Kinda like this, right?"

"I suppose so," He began "for how long?"

"Three months, It would have been longer, but my boyfriend at the time made me quit..."

"Hmm" Saperstein sat back "you have a boyfriend now?" He asked, getting slightly off topic.

"Not currently." Justin said slowly.

"Okay, prove it."

"That I don't have a boyfriend?" Justin asked, confused.

Sap rolled his eyes, "That you can dance, blondie, prove it to me." He picked up a remote off of his desk, and clicked on a stereo somewhere in the office. The song "Get Me Off" by Basement Jaxx started playing loudly. "Well...?" Saperstein asked "Prove it," he pushed again.

Justin smiled, stood up and pulled off his shirt. He climbed up onto Sap's desk, and kneeled down to his level, not two inches from his face.

"Sure," He started "but don't call me blondie, I really hate that."

~~~~~
Brian saw Justin walk into the diner with a bright smile, and couldn't help think how cute he looked in dark jeans, and a tight sweater. He walked over to their booth, and sat beside Ted. "I got a job." he said simply, and satisfied smile on his face. Brian felt his gut tighten. "Where?" asked Michael (who sat next to Brian) his full attention now on Justin.
'Don't say Babylon, don't say Babylon, don't say Babylon...' Brian repeated over in his head, not aware Ted was doing the same thing.
"Babylon." Justin replied, before turning to Kiki to give her his order.
"Babylon?" MIchael asked, "you're going to be a dancer?"
"Yup," Justin turned to Michael "just like stripping, only I don't have to show my cock." He looked at Brian and winked, Brian rolled his eyes.
"Justin..." Ted began "I don't know if thats a good idea, I mean... well, Sap is a..." Ted hesitated.
"A slime-ball" Brian offered, "Yes," Ted agreed, "a slime-ball."
It was Justin's turn to roll his eyes, "I've met worse, he didn't seem that bad... kind of horny, but who isn't?" Brian looked at Ted, who seemed to be in deep thought, then back at Justin who had at some point pulled a sketchbook out of his messenger bag, and started to draw.
"I think its kinda cool." Michael stated, not being able to stand not being included in the conversation.
"Thank you Michael." Just said, now looking at Michael and smiling. Brian cleared his throat, not liking the way the two were looking at each-other. He shook his head and stood up, throwing a ten on the table for his food. "I've got to get back to work, some of us have real jobs." Justin looked a little hurt as Brian walked away. He heading towards the exit, but not before hearing Justin, "what crawled up his ass and died?" Brian ignored him as he found his jeep and climbed in. He started it. All the way to Vanguard, he couldn't stop thinking about Justin. He knew he acted like an asshole back there, but he got a really bad feeling about the kid working at Babylon. Not necessarily as a go go boy it-self, but working for Sap couldn't be good.
Brian had been going to Babylon for years now, and even knew Saperstein personally. He knew that he had connections, and a short temper, he knew he had a new 'lover' every week and had a personal taste for young, blonde haired, blue eyed twinks.
He also knew that Justin could take care of himself, but that didn't stop the vile rising in his throat at the thought of Justin in Sap's bed. Brian scolded himself, "you're not his father, Kinney..." he whispered to himself "you're not his boyfriend, or his fucking wife, forget him!" he hissed, not liking the way Justin affected him so easily.
Brian sped the rest of the way to work, now thinking about the new dark haired, dark eyed intern he was going to fuck on his desk. 'What was his name? Ken, Kip or something. Ah who gives a shit. He's not Justin, and thats good enough."
~~~~~

Justin sat in at the booth, now alone, thinking about Brian. He knew he acted a little campy every once and a while, but Brian made it sound like he was whoring himself or something. Although Justin was usually good at brushing people off, not caring what they thought of him, but, for some reason, Brian was different. He felt as if he needed his approval (which was bullshit) and he had just shot him down. Justin looked down at the sketch of Brian he had started before he had left, and sighed, not so eager to finish it anymore.

Justin saw Debbie head his way, and he slammed the sketch book closed as she slid across him. "Okay, Sunshine, spill it!"

Justin gave Debbie a blank look, as if asking 'what are you talking about?'

"Don't give me that look, Justin, you are one the most carefree, bubbly person I have ever met..." she looked him dead in the eye "you don't think I'm not going to notice when you're down? I mean, common Sunshine, the room has considerably dimmed in the last 20 minutes."

"I'm the most carefree person you know? Thats kinda sad Deb, you've only known me for like, two days." Just joked, trying to sway her off topic.

"Don't be smart with me, baby, and tell me what's up... now."

Justin sighed, "would you think any less of me if I told you I got a job at Babylon... as a go go boy?"

"You're working for that slime Sap?!"

Justin hung his head at her words, and slouched down further.

Debbie sighed, seeing how what she had said affected the blonde. "Why are you working there Justin? You ... you can work here! One of the waiters just quit, you can start right away, and with your bubble butt you're bound to bring in customers" Debbie smiled big, thinking she had solved his problem. Justin smiled a little bit, but shook his head, "Thanks Debbie, but its not enough money..."

"Well why the fuck not?" she asked, slightly offended "I work here and I get by just fine."

"Yeah, Deb, but you're not trying to put yourself though college"

"Well, what about your parents? Ted says they are wealthy..." Debbie asked, concerned.

"My DAD's wealthy, him and my mom split up, he said he would pay for college if I went to Dartmouth or Brown or something, and study business... I was going to but then I got accepted into PIFA, they only open 70 slots a year and over 2000 people applied. I didn't want to pass up this opportunity, and regret it the rest of my life, even if it means I have to peddle my art, or my ass to do it."

Debbie smiled and the young blonde, 'yup, defiantly another Kinney on our hands...' she noticed the sketch book laying under Justin's arms and smiled wider. "May I see?" She asked, motioning to the book. He hesitated a little before sliding it over towards her. She flipped it open, and started looking at the many drawings and doodles of various things. She smirked when she saw the half done portrait of Brian staring back at her. "Well Sunshine, you have talent, no denying that, and if this is really your passion, your dream... don't let anyone get to you, not even me."

Justin smiled his Sunshine smile, and the diner seemed to light up again. Debbie stared at her newest "lost boy" and said very seriously "If Sap ever does anything to you, anything at all, tell me, and ill make sure to rip him a new asshole. You got it?" Justin laughed, "I got it."

"Good, now, you're coming to dinner Sunday at my house, no exceptions." Justin didn't have time to answer before Debbie stood up, and walked away. He didn't know what to think, but he knew he was feeling better, and he had her to thank for it.

~~~~~
Brian didn't know what the hell he was thinking, fucking that intern. He was currently buttoning up his off white gucci shirt, trying to block out the guys babbling.
"...so I was figuring you could put in a good word to Vance for me..." Kip continued on, catching Brian's attention.
"Wait," Brian stopped him "what are you talking about? I'm not giving you a job..."
Kip had a range of emotions run across his face. Shock, then confusion, then anger. "What? Why not? I JUST let you fuck me!" He exclaimed, as if that explained why Brian should give him a job. "Plus you said that I was good, that I had fresh Ideas, that I was better than those other guys who had worked here for years!"
"We fucked, Kip, yes, but thats it." Brian stated, ignoring the anger growing on the young interns face, "Your ideas are fresh, but that doesn't make you ready to work in advertising. You've still got a hell of a long way to go, thats WHY you're an intern, Kip, to learn. NOT to fuck your way to the top."
If Kip looked angry before, It was nothing compared to how he looked now. He looked livid. He narrowed his eyes at Brian, before smirking. "How about I give you another chance to change your mind?" Kip asked, confusing Brian further, "Ill give you till Monday. That should give you the weekend to find a position for me, tell Vance how you just had to hire me, and get me a nice welcoming gift. Don't you think?"
Now Brian knew he had made a mistake fucking this kid... he was nuts!
"I think thats fair." Kip finished, pulling on his jacket, and leaving the office. Brian stood shocked. "What the fucking hell just happened?" He whispered.
Brian walked out of his office, and went straight for Cynthia's desk. "Im leaving early" He said simply, before walking away. "Wait!" Cynthia called, "What do I tell Vance?"
"That I'm leaving early..."
"Okay, Mothers in the hospital. Again." He heard Cynthia mumble, he ignored her and headed towards the elevator. He needed to talk to someone, for a split second Justin crossed his mind but he quickly threw that idea out the window. 'Mikey' he thought 'I'll talk to Mikey' He made up his mind as he felt the elevator stop at the garage, and stepped off and started looking for his jeep.
~~~~~

Justin was impressed. Although he liked Michael, he couldn't really see the man running his own business. Thats why when he told him that he owned a comic book store on Liberty Ave., Red Cape Comics, Justin had a hard time picturing it. But here it was, clean, organized, and obviously well ran.

He sat on a stool in-front of the counter, across from Michael who was explaining the difference between Captain Astro (whom he seem particularly biased towards) and Superman. Justin wasn't really listening, instead he was thinking about Brian, 'bastard wont leave my head' He started to think about the other night they were together, which brought a goofy looking smile to his face, he thought about how amazing it was. 'You haven't had sex in a couple of days... you're just horny Justin. Brian wasn't THAT good...' of course he knew he was lying to himself. He sighed, and snapped back into reality when Michael called his name.

"Justin?" He asked, "yeah?" Justin replied, blushing slightly. Michael chuckled, "I asked which one was your favorite..." he continued after seeing the confused look on Justin's face "Superhero...?"

"Oh! Yeah... I like Batman." Justin said, straightening up a little, "He's got to be my favorite."

"Batman? but he has no powers..."

"Thats why I like him, he uses his intelligence, and resources to help people. Not super strength and heat vision...." Justin interrupted "plus... Bruce Wayne is hot."He finished, and Michael laughed.

The two heard the bell above the door jingle, and they looked towards the noise to see Brian. He looked a little surprised to see Justin but quickly masked it.

"Hey Brian" Michael said, obviously not noticing the tension between the blonde and the brunette.

"What are you doing here?" Brian asked Justin, ignoring Michael's greeting.

"Michael invited me to see his shop, apparently he has one of those REAL jobs you were talking about..." Brian flinched at Justin's tone, and Michael looked considerably less comfortable.

"Oh?" Brian asked, glancing to Michael back to the blonde. "Yeah" Justin replied, then looked at his watch, "but I have to go. Lindsey invited me over to her house to meet Melanie. See, she got time off of her REAL job as well..." Justin hopped off of the stool and looked at Michael, "Thanks for showing me your shop Mike, Ill see you later." He walked passed Brian without looking at him once, and out of the door making the bell chime again.

~~~~~~
Brian was shocked at how Justin had treated him.
"Wow," Michael looked at Brian "you really pissed him off."
"Yeah, I'm sure he and Melanie will get along just fine." Brian whispered, and took the stool Justin had occupied moments earlier. "So, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at work?" Michael asked.
"Well if I didn't know any better, Mikey, I'd say you didn't want me here." Brian shot back.
"You know thats not true, Brian."
"That's why I said 'if' I didn't know any better" Brian continued, tongue in cheek. "Why was blondie here?" He asked, trying to keep his general, uncaring tone.
"I invited him, like he said, weren't you listening?"
"Not really" Brian lied. He was about to bitch to Michael about his shitty day, but was interrupted by the man himself.
"Do you think I have a chance with Justin?" He asked bluntly, stopping Brian in his tracks. "I mean, I'm thinking of asking him out, but I don't want to make an ass out of myself, ya know?" Michael continued.
"Don't" Brian said simply.
"Don't what?" Michael asked, looking confused.
"Don't ask him out" Brian wasn't sure where he was going with this, but it was too late to stop now. "Ted wouldn't like it. He would probably freak out." He knew he was lying, Ted would have no problem with Mikey and Sunshine dating, It was him who had the problem. "Plus, Justin doesn't seem too interested in relationships, or monogamy, you would probably just end up hurt." 'God I'm such a fucking asshole,' Brian thought, and felt worse when Michael seemed to deflate.
"Well, it looked like he was interested in me... was I wrong?" Michael asked, meekly.
"He probably just wants to fuck you, I know how people like this are..." Brian ignored the little angel on his shoulder, bitching him out. "hell, I am one. He doesn't want a boyfriend, trust me."
~~~~~

Justin knocked on the door of a nice, suburban looking house, looking back to see the cab leave. 'I need to look into getting a car' he thought as the door opened, showing a smiling Lindsey on the other side.

"You made it! We thought for a second you weren't going to show, come in, come in." She ushered Justin into the cozy home. He walked into what he assumed was the living room, where he saw a tall woman with dark brown hair, and stern look holding Gus down on a changing table. 'She looks like a female version of brian.'

"Lindsey, Gus really doesn't want to cooperate here..." she looked up and saw Justin, and smiled, "Hey, you must be Justin. I'm Melanie, I would shake your hand if I wasn't elbow deep in baby shit right now."

'She is a female version of Brian.' He laughed, and looked at Gus, who was kicking at Melanie as she tried to changed his diaper. "Here," he offered, walking over to the table. He grabbed a diaper, and effortlessly slipping it on the kicking baby. Justin picked up the now calm Gus and looked at the two shocked faces of the boy's parents.

"I'm astonished..." Melanie began, "how did you do that?" Asked an equally amazed Lindsey.

"Well," Justin started, adjusting Gus, "I basically raised Molly, my little sister, during my parents divorce. She was around Gus's age."

Melanie and Lindsey smiled, looking at Justin, "You're really good with him. He's not usually so accepting of new people." Justin looked down at the baby in his arms, who now had his head against his chest, and his thumb in his mouth. "How old is he?" He asked, still starting at Gus.

"Just turned two... we're going to start potty training soon..." Lindsey looked at Gus "arrant we sweetie?" She asked in a baby voice. Justin looked down and Gus who was now looking at Justin with wide eyes. He laughed, "Gus may have other plans." He looked back up at Melanie, who now had a huge smile on her face. "What are you doing tonight, Justin?" She asked, "Oh no, Melanie, we cant ask him that!"

"Ask me what?" Justin asked.

Lindsey sighed, "Well, Mel and I were supposed to go to dinner tonight, but the sitter called a little while ago, and she's got the flu..."

"I can do it." Justin said, shrugging.

"Are you sure? We'll pay you of course..."

"Yeah no problem, I could stand to make a little money before school starts..."

"Thank you, Justin. We really appreciate it." Melanie said, smiling.

Justin grinned and looked at Gus who was staring back with large hazel green eyes. The baby almost seemed familiar.

"Well, this way we wont have to drop him off at Brian's..."

"Why would you drop him off at Brian's?" Justin asked, not really able to picture Brian as their first choice when it came to child care.

"He's Gus's father..." Lindsey started.

"Sperm donor." Melanie cut her off, snidely.

'Father?' Justin thought, he sighed 'It's going to be a long night.'
