Ooookay, here we go lol. Sorry for the delay. And no, no date this chapter. Sorry. Next chapter! I promise!

Brian wasn’t sure what he was doing. He wasn’t sure WHY he was doing it either. He was in his Jeep, driving towards Sap’s house, and for the first time he was actually glad that he had gone to one of the man’s parties when he was younger. He just hoped the he hadn’t moved. While he was lying in bed earlier he had begun to get an odd feeling in the pit of his stomach, and Brian had never been one for ignoring his gut. So here he was. Blowing off stop signs and red lights in order to get to his Sunshine, hoping to whatever god was listening that nothing was wrong and he was just being paranoid. Somehow he didn’t think that was the case.

~~~~~
Justin lay helplessly in Sap’s bed. He felt the man’s lips on his neck and wanted to gag; he tried once again to get away but had had no luck. He was able to struggle a little which at least was making it much harder for the man to ignore his discomfort.
“Relax Justin, you’ll love it, I promise.” Saperstein hissed at the boy’s groan, obviously annoyed at his reluctance.
Justin wanted desperately to tell the man to fuck off but he couldn’t get his mouth to form the words. Whatever drug the man had slipped him was doing its magic, and on top of the paralysis he felt a panic attack coming on. He hadn’t had one in over a year; even Cody hadn’t stressed him enough to induce one. Justin started to hyperventilate causing his head to begin to pound.
He felt the Sap’s hand slide down towards his crotch and he wanted to scream, but he couldn’t… all he could do was lay there.
~~~~~

Brian parked the jeep in front of the house. Not bothering to even take the keys, he jumped out and jogged towards the lit building. He strode in; ignoring the lustful looks he got from the men standing around the door, and glanced around but couldn’t see Justin. A few fruitless minutes of stalking through the house had only resulted in his becoming increasingly worried. A small part of him tried to believe that Justin had gotten bored and gone home… but he knew it wasn’t likely. Spotting the red head that Justin worked with, he walked over and tapped his shoulder none too gently to get his attention.

“Where’s Justin?” he asked bluntly and the red head frowned.

“I don’t know…” he turned around and called to another young man there.

“Hey Jared! You seen Jus?”

“Yeah… he went upstairs with Gary a little while ago.”

“Sap?” the red head asked but Brian didn’t stick around to hear the answer. He turned on his heel and made his way up the stairs.

He walked down the hall looking in various rooms for Justin, and calling the blonde‘s name. The red head joined him as Brian reached the last room.

~~~~~
Justin heard his named being called. It sounded like Brian. He hoped that he wasn’t just hearing things and knew he wasn’t when Sap stopped, looking towards the sound. Justin wanted to call out but he couldn’t; even if the drug wasn’t keeping him paralyzed, his hyperventilating would have stopped him.
“Justin!” he heard again and Sap sighed, getting off of the boy he walked over to the door and opened it. Using what little energy he had left Justin turned his head toward the entrance and saw Brian on the other side.
~~~~~

Brian watched as the door swung open and there stood Sap looking smug as ever.

“Excuse me, but we’re a little busy here.” he said in an annoyed tone, and Brian looked over the man’s shoulder to see Justin lying on the bed with his clothes rumpled. He was barely moving and was hyperventilating as well. Brian saw red.

He wasted no time in punching Sap and then stepped over the man to get to Justin.

“You okay, Sunshine?” he asked the blonde who looked like he was trying to answer him, but couldn’t catch his breath. Brian wasn’t sure what was happening to the blonde but it looked like he was having a panic attack. Once again he felt hatred toward the man who did this to Justin but knew he couldn’t worry about it know. He had to get Justin to a hospital.

Brian picked up the blonde and turned to leave the large room to find Sap standing in front of him. He looked furious as he brought his fist back to return the favor. Seeing what was about to take place, the red head stepped in, grabbed the older man’s arm and shoved him into the wall. Brian nodded to the young man and made his way out of the room.

“You two are fired!” Sap yelled to the retreating men.

“We quit!” the red head yelled back, and Brian smiled bitterly. He made his way down the stairs and out the door. The red head helped him get Justin into the backseat of the jeep and climbed in next to him. Brian got in the drivers seat and started the vehicle and took off towards the hospital.

~~~~~
Ted sat in his apartment, typing away at his computer. He was doing the books for “Jerkatwork” and was beginning to regret not hiring someone to do it for him. He stopped and sighed. It was a boring night and he vaguely thought about going to Babylon for a while but decided against it. He was about to get back to work when he heard the phone ring. Grateful for the break, he got up to answer it
“Hello?”
“Ted? It’s Brian.” he heard Brian’s voice on the other end.?
“I can see that. Why are you calling?” he asked and felt his gut twist when Brian didn’t answer.
“Brian?”
“Its Justin, he went to a party at Saps and he was slipped something. We’re at the emergency room now.” Brian said and Ted didn’t waste any time before he grabbed his keys, and headed out the door.
~~~~~

Brian sighed as he closed his cell phone and began pacing again. Justin had been with the doctor for a good half hour and he didn’t know what the hold up was. He saw the red head, who had finally introduced himself as Jay, walk towards him.

“You should sit down, it could be a while.” he told the brunette who glared at him.

Jay sighed. “How about you sit down… and I’ll go see if I can find anything out, ‘kay?” Jay offered.

Brian paused for a minute then finally sat down in one of the hard plastic chairs. Jay smiled and walked towards the nurse’s station.

Brian sat feeling helpless. He knew it wasn’t his fault but couldn’t help but blame himself for not trying harder to get Justin to stay. Hell, tying him down to a chair would have been better than this. Justin would have been pissed but at least he wouldn’t be in this situation. God he was going to kill Gary Saperstein.

Jay walked towards Brian once again and sat next to him.

“So?”

“Nothing yet.” Jay said, looking worried himself. Brian sighed.

They sat in silence for a good 20 minutes before Brian saw Ted rushing towards him.

“Is he okay?” was the first thing out of his mouth.

“We don’t know yet.” Brian said in a small voice and Ted was surprised at how forlorn the usually cold man looked.

“Excuse me…?” they heard someone call and all three looked to see a an older kind looking doctor aproach.

“Are you Justin’s family?” he asked and Ted spoke up.

“I’m his cousin, second cousin.” he said.

“and them?” the doctor asked.

“I’m his friend.” Jay said.

“and I’m his lover.” Brian said in all seriousness, shocking Ted.

“I’m Dr. Molloy, and I’m happy to report that Justin will be fine…” the doctor said and there was a collective sigh among the three.

“The drug that was in his system was Rohypnol, better know as “roofie” it made him weak and unresponsive. It also triggered a panic attack. His record says he has had a history of them… Post Traumatic Stress Disorder…” the doctor continued.

“Yeah, he was attacked at 17.” Ted agreed quietly.

“He’s more tired than anything right now. I would like to keep him overnight to make sure he rests, and that he doesn’t have another attack. I’m also going to prescribe something for his headaches. Do any of you know the last time he has taken anything for them?” the doctor asked, directing the question mostly to Ted, who nodded.

“He stopped taking them about a year ago; he said he hasn’t needed them since.” Ted said.

“Well, he’s going to be back on the medication for a while, just as a precaution. Then if he feels he doesn’t need them after a week he can stop taking them.” he finished.

“Can we see him?” Brian asked eagerly and the doctor nodded.

“He is very tired though, so only one at a time.” he said and gave them a room number before walking away.

Ted didn’t even consider Brian before walking into the room, and although Brian understood why, he was still a little peeved that he would have to wait.

After 15 or 20 minutes the man walked out looking relieved.

“He’s looking good, he asked for you.” he said, directing the statement to Brian who nodded and walked into the room.

Ted looked at the red head.

“Sorry, I didn’t get your name. I’m Ted.” he introduced himself and Jay smiled.

“I’m Jay, I work with… well I worked with Justin at Babylon… needless to say we don’t work there anymore.” he said, trying to find some humor in the situation. Ted smiled.

“Do you need a ride home?” he asked Jay who blushed slightly.

“Actually, if you don’t mind....”

~~~~~
Brian walked into the small room and saw Justin who was hooked up to an IV. He looked exhausted, but smiled when he saw Brian come in.
“Hey Sunshine…” he said softly, sitting on the chair next to the bed and taking Justin’s hand.
“Hey.” he said smiling sadly.
“I’m sorry.” Brian apologized quickly and Justin frowned.
“Sorry’s bullshit, remember?” he said softly and Brian chuckled.
“Besides… what do you have to be sorry for? You‘re the one who tried to stop me from going… I should have listened.”
Brian smiled.
“Doesn’t matter, I’m just glad you’re okay.”
The room got quiet for a few minutes before Justin started to laugh. Brian frowned.
“What are you laughing at?” he asked the blonde who smirked.
“Ted says you told the doctor that you were my lover…” he said while smiling and Brian groaned.
“I only said that so the doctor would tell me how you are…”
“Uh huh, right.” Justin teased.
“Okay, so technically you are my lover… and a lover is different than a boyfriend you know that right?” he said sternly and Justin laughed.
“Do you want to be my lover, Brian?” the blonde asked and Brian stopped at the seriousness of the question.
“and what would that mean?” Brian asked the blonde.
“No rules… just us.” he said and Brian smiled.
“I think I like the sound of that.” he said sincerely and Justin smiled widely.
“Wait, we get to trick, right?” he asked worriedly and Justin laughed.
“Of course.”
“Good, because to be honest with you its not so much that I want to be with tricks… I just like the freedom to do so if I want to…” Brian said softly and once again surprised himself at how easily he could talk to the blonde.
Justin smiled.
“Don’t worry… entrapping you is the last thing I want to do. I know what that’s like.” he said.
Brian looked at the blonde and smiled. Not a sarcastic or sadistic smile. A real one and Justin found himself melting in the hospital bed.
“Get some rest okay? I’ll be back tomorrow to get you.” he said and leaned down, kissing Justin softly. The two reluctantly separated, and Brian left the room.
~~~~~

Brian stepped inside the hospital, eager to get Justin and get out of there. He passed the nurses station and had to laugh at the many looks he got from the men and women, old, young… didn’t matter. He still had it. Not that there was any doubt. He walked towards Justin’s room and hoped the boy would be ready to go. Once he reached the room he opened the door and saw that Justin was changing out of his hospital grown and into his civvies. Brian smirked.

“Now Mister Taylor, you know you can’t go anywhere without that prostate exam.” Brian said in a very serious, doctor like manner. Justin jumped and turned around, obviously thinking he was alone. Seeing Brian there he rolled his eyes.

“Oh yes, Dr. Kinney. Now what do I have to do?” Justin asked in a very innocent voice and Brian almost snorted. He walked slowly to the boy.

“Just turn your head and cough.” he said and Justin laughed, pulling on the shirt he was wearing last night. He wrapped his arms around the man’s neck and sighed, happy to see him. Brian circled his arms around Justin’s waist and placed his forehead to his. They sat there for a while doing nothing but starring into each other’s eyes. Brian knew if it were any other time or any other person he would be at least half way through his rant about lesbians and heteros and bullshit, but with Justin it was nice. He wasn’t really sure why but he wasn’t about to complain.

Reluctantly the brunette pulled away, as Justin did the same.

“So, you ready to get out of here?” he asked and Justin laughed.

“You have no idea. I fucking hate hospitals. Lets go.” he said and walked past Brian out the door, obviously wanted to get as far away from the place as possible. By the time Brian caught up to the blonde he was already busy signing himself out. He shook his head as he walked up to the other man.

“Slow down Sunshine, you might hurt something.” he whispered teasingly into his ear. Justin turned around.

“You should take your own advice, old man.” Justin teased the man back and Brian gasped dramatically.

“Ouch! You’re evil.”

“I’m sweet.” he argued and the old woman behind the desk cleared her throat, clearly uncomfortable with their little public display of affection.

“You still need to sign a few more papers, Mr. Taylor.” she said shortly and Justin nodded, turning back around and started to sign again.

Brian, not caring what the woman thought, wrapped his arms around his waist and began kissing the younger man’s neck. Justin chuckled knowing Brian was simply doing this to make the woman squirm. Not that he minded, the feel of Brian’s lips on his neck made him tingle all over and was making him harder by the second. He would have no problem jumping the man right now and fucking him in the middle of the hospital if it weren’t for the fact that they would probably get arrested. He finished signing the papers as quickly as possible and soon the two were out of the dreaded place and on their way to Brian’s Jeep.

He climbed in the passenger seat of the vehicle, while Brian got in the driver’s side and started the car. As much as Justin wanted to go to the man’s loft and fuck all day he really needed to change. He smelt like liquor, the hospital and… Sap. He shuddered. Brian seemed to pick up on this and changed directions, heading towards Ted’s apartment.

“Justin… I know this is an unpleasant subject, but what are you doing to do about Sap?” Brian asked.

“What do you mean?” he asked.

“I mean what are you going to do? When are you going to the police? When are you going to file a report? Things like that.” Brian elaborated. Justin sat silent for a few minutes.

“I’m not.” he finally responded and Brian hit the brakes.

“What?!” he yelled at the blonde and Justin looked at the man like he was crazy. People started honking at them, though Justin could understand why, they were stopped in the middle of a busy street.

“Brian, what the fuck are you doing?” he asked desperately.

“What am I doing? What are you doing? What do you mean you’re not pressing charges?!” he asked again and Justin sighed.

“I would feel more comfortable telling you if we were moving.” Justin said calmly and Brian narrowed his eyes. He put the car in park and crossed his arms.

Justin narrowed his eyes as well, and the two sat stubbornly, neither willing to give.

“Why are you protecting him?” Brian asked in a stern tone and Justin laughed almost bitterly.

“Protecting him? Are you kidding? I’m protecting myself not that slime bag.”

Horns started to blare at the couple sitting in the Jeep, seemingly doing nothing but starring at each other.

“MOVE, ASSHOLE!” they heard someone yell but they ignored it.

“Oh? And how is it you’re protecting yourself by doing nothing?!” Brian yelled.

“No, I’m protecting myself by not getting myself in that situation again!” Justin yelled back.

“Hey!” they heard somebody yell from the passenger side of the Jeep.

“Hey, jerkwad. Why don’t you have you’re little lover’s spat with fairy boy later and move your…” the irritated man demanded in a strong voice, but stopped short when Brian gave him a death glare.

“Why don’t YOU get back in that mediocre scrap of metal you call a car, and mind your own FUCKING business!” he yelled at the man who seemed less confident. He said nothing as he walked back to his car. Brian heard Justin sigh and looked over at the blonde.

“Listen Brian, I spent so much time dealing with cops and hospitals and courts… I would rather just leave this one alone. I’m not protecting Sap… but I would do anything to avoid being in the media spotlight again. Can you please just drop it?” he groaned softly.

Brian closed his eyes, not happy with the blonde’s decision but agreeing to let it go… for now. He put the car in drive and began driving towards his destination again. A tense silence filled the air for the rest of the way. Brian was mad and although he could understand why Justin wouldn’t want to go through that again he couldn’t help but be pissed that Sap was going to go unpunished.

When he pulled up to the apartment he parked, and refused to look at the blonde sitting next to him. Justin sat still for a minute before leaning over and taking Brian’s face in his hand and kissing him softly. Brian didn’t want to stop being mad at Justin but when his soft lips landed on his he couldn’t help it. He cursed himself mentally for being so weak around the younger man. Justin pulled back and saw that he had won Brian over once again.

“Now are we still on for tonight? Or would you rather sit and brood all night about not getting your way?” Justin asked lightheartedly and Brian gave him a look. A look that would usually send people running for the hills but it only made Justin smile wider.

“Ill pick you up at seven.” he said simply and Justin nodded happily. He started to climb out of the car but Brian stopped him. ?

“and Sunshine… burn that shirt.” he said while wrinkling his nose, obviously noticing the smell himself. Justin nodded to him.

“Already half way there, Brian.” he said and closed the door. He waved to the older man and walked into the apartment building. Brian sat starring at the door for a few minutes before he drove off towards the loft. He needed to look killer tonight, not that he didn’t all the time but still.
