Title: Sweat Hearts Date: November 16, 2007 Warnings/Genres: None Category: Poem Characters: Parts of Brian/Justin and parts of Gale/Randy, find them. Author's Note: This is a poem from someone who knows nothing about poetry. I wrote it like two years ago. It's horribly written, doesn't respect any rule from poetry. But it makes me smile, so I just wanted to share it with you because maybe you will too. Please be gentle! Hugs!
Sweet Hearts
What I love the most; Is the way he looked at him standing by that lamppost, He tried to look away but he couldn’t resist, The boy he saw in that yellow and blue mist, When he spilled his bottle of water, Something down there was getting harder. It was that perfect rim, It’s the way he could never get enough of him, He said: You can see me in your dream, And those kisses with vanilla ice cream, It’s how they showered together, But I’m sure it was to conserve water. It’s that little dip in his bottom lip, His lean body and sexy hips, That famous Sunshine smile, His Prada, Gucci, Armani style, It’s that perfect round derriere, And that here-today, gone-tomorrow blond hair. I remember the first time I saw their romance, It was in that beautiful way they danced. It’s too late now, there’s no turning back, He had the hottest six-pack, It’s because he wants him safe, he wants him around for a long time, For me it’s the best show on Showtime. It’s that green apple, That he’ll always be young; he will always be beautiful, It’s the white silk scarf he kept, His two black Jeeps and black corvette, It’s his no apology, And no regret. Cheap black glasses, Stovepipe pants, Used leather, Spanish wine, Italian boots, Loud music, Long legs, Big windows. It’s the way he helped him with his tie, It’s those times when he got high, It’s how they watched each other to ‘From the Inside’ And that kiss on his shoulder at Gay Pride. It’s all those mistake they didn’t notice, Like that hustler and the evil fiddler, He broke his heart and his promise, But at the end everything got better, Since they fucked in Brian’s office. But that night, in the end, It’s the way he got inside Babylon and cried “Justin.” The same way he did, that night he got bashed, He said: I was so fucking scared, Those three magic words he whispered, He said it twice to be sure he’d be heard. It’s that he’d give him anything, Be anything, Do anything, To prove that he really loves him. It’s the way they make me happy, It’s when he became the best homosexual he could possibly be, And he didn’t return the ring, When they all got their invitations to the wedding, Ted had spit his morning coffee, I laughed so much I had to pee. It’s that castle he bought, When Brian grew a heart, I wouldn’t want them any other way, In my heart they will stay.
