We’d managed to escape the American naval fleet so far but it was only a matter of time before we were caught. I’m sure every bloody island in the Caribbean knew exactly what I looked like. I mean, I’m not exactly hard to miss; blonde hair, blue eyes and white skin. Anyway, the navy is the least of my worries right now. My main concern is what the hell I’m going to do with the traitorous prick Ethan. Everyone’s told me in their own ways (politely of course) that it would be in my best interests to sling him overboard or better yet, as Emmett happily pointed out, I could kill him in his sleep. Ted, my faithful accountant has explained to kill Ethan would be somewhat of an investment. Turns out Grease-bag has a tendency of spending MY money on male whores and rum. Something I didn’t take to kindly to when I was informed. It took all my sister’s persuasion for me not to beat Ethan to a pulp with his violin. I mean what pirate plays fucking VIOLIN!? So here I am, sat on our figurehead watching the water as I debate what the hell I plan on doing with Ethan. One of my legs is dangling above the water while my chin rests on the other knee. “Justin!” I tilt my head back, eyebrow raised as I meet Debbie’s eyes, “Yes ma?” I say sweetly, so as not to make it obvious I was plotting bloody murder, “We’re just brought a brunette on board, says he needs to see you”. I nod, standing up as I tug myself up and over the railing, before I make my way to the ground congregating about out wayward traveller. “Okay, give the guy some room, Jesus…” I mutter, pushing a few of my crew out the way as I crouch beside a very wet looking Brian, “You okay?” I ask, an amused eyebrow raised as I try not to laugh as his predicament, “Throw him overboard!” comes a loud voice. I take a deep breath, getting to my feet as everyone steps back, allowing my full view of the speaker. “I’ll throw you overboard you lying, cheating, thieving scum!” I hiss, backing him up against the railing. I know for a fact we’re in shark territory and a rather evil look crosses my face as I pull out a small knife and cut Ethan’s cheek, drawing blood, “What the fuck Justin?” Then, rather forcefully, I push him over the railing, “Buh bye” I turn away before I can watch the water turn blood red. “Ladies and Gentlemen, as Captain of the Pirate Ship ‘Masquerade’; it is my pleasure to introduce you to the new First Mate; Brian Kinney. He’ll be taking Ethan’s old quarters, ma if you’d like to fetch him some new clothes and a towel?” Debbie nods and darts off, “Molly, if you could fetch some food and drink?” My little sister nods and runs in the same direction Debbie did before I turn back to Brian and give a sweeping bow, a sneer on my lips. “Welcome aboard, Mr Kinney” With a tip of my hat, I turn on my heel and stride towards Vic and the Ship’s wheel, leaving a confused Brian behind as he took in the ship.
