Hilarious! And frkin damn creative!! Loved it..

Author's Response:

LOL! I'm glad this gave you a giggle :-D If the prof who inspired this every knew what came out of his lecture on natural selection, I think he might wring his hands and wonder how on earth the message could be so wildly construed... But it works :-D Thanks so much for reading, and for your review. It means a lot and I appreciate it so much :-)

On that absolutely hilarious note, I think I'll go to sleep with images of Justin's dance in my head.

Excellent tale.

Author's Response:

LOL :-D I'm glad this story made you laugh. I hope Justin puts on a good show for you in your dreams ;-) Thanks so much for reading, and for your wonderful comment!

This was hysterical!  The story title grabbed my attention and even though it sounds funny, it is so true.  I can honestly say that I'd never pondered the ratio of the gay male population of the mantis until now.  ROFL!!

In my mind's eye, I can just see them bantering back and forth this way.  With 2 such intelligent guys, it is easy for me to imagine these quirky conversational debates occurring between them and with such humor.  I wish we got to see more of it on the show (can you just imagine Gale/Randy acting this script out?)

I won't be able to read about or see the color persimmon again without thinking of J's Bird of Paradise dance or B's reaction to it! *giggling like mad*

This really struck my funny bone and I enjoyed it very much (it's gone into my favorites)...thanks for sharing!

Author's Response: Hey there! I'm really glad you liked this story, and that it gave you a good laugh :-D 'Science humour', particularly zoological humour is highly underrated. there's a lot of weird shit out there that is just dying to be written about. I never get tired of weird animal facts :-) I like PSA!Justin, as well, and I can imagine him saying something like this. Poor Brian is always on the receiving end, but we all know he loves it :-) Thanks again for reading, and for your wonderful comment- it means a lot . *hugs*

I love PSAJustin!! What a fun and educational story. I adore Brian and Justin like this =)

Author's Response: Thanks Kat :-D I'm so glad you found this story entertaining and, er, 'educational' :-) Isn't science fun? LOL! Poor Brian, having to contend with PSA!/Brainbox!Justin... at least he gets always gets something out of the deal (it kind of reminds me of that 'You and me, Baby, ain't nothing but mammals' song by Bloodhound Gang.). Anyway, thanks again for reading, as always, and for all your much-loved reviews!

Well, that was freakin' hilarious -- and very sweet -- and, did I mention, hilarious?

Really, the perfect, light read for my early Friday morning.  Thanks, Sapphire!

I usually only read completed fics, and am very much looking forward to your 'Snakes', which sounds very intriguing, indeed!

Author's Response:

LOL! I'm really glad that you enjoyed this story and found it amusing :-D Thanks so much for reading!

I'm also glad you're interested in 'Snakes' :-) It's taking me a lot longer to write than any of my previous fics because my writing time has been effectively halved since Christmas. I'm determined to finish it though, so I hope you'll stick around and wait it out...

Thanks again for reading, and for your wonderful review! I really appreciate it :-)

This was a really cute story. I loved it. More importantly I am glad to see you writing again.

On another note, I am doing much better. Last time I wrote you, I had lost two friends in a matter of 6 weeks.

Look forward to reading more of your stories soon.

Author's Response: Hey :-) It's really good to hear from you. I'm so sorry to hear about your friends- that must have been really hard for you. I'm glad to hear that you're doing better now. *Hugs* I took a bit of a hiatus from writing as well at the beginning of the year to contend with what was essentially two full-time jobs (one of which has now finished, mercifully).  I started writing again last month, with two new chapters of 'The Temptation of Snakes' (which I started in October). I hope to update it more or less 'regularly' from now on.... Anyway, I'm glad to hear from you, and I'm glad that you enjoyed this story :-) Thanks so much for reading!

i remember this from before. brian watching him and trying to get to justin and trying to get him to stop, still cracks me up.

Author's Response: Thanks :-D I actually wrote this back in November, but just realized I hadn't posted it here. It's fun to revisit, though- I'm glad you enjoyed it the second time around :-D Thanks again for reading, as always, and for all your wonderful reviews!

I love your humor fics. I think I laughed for about ten minutes straight about the chameleon/orca and flying seals in your Pictionary fic. This fic had pretty much the exact same effect. I can just picture it happening so perfectly, lol.

Author's Response: LOL :-D Thanks! I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed this fic, as well as 'Pictionary'. Brainbox!Justin is so much fun- I'm not entirely sure Brian would agree with me, but he always gets what he wants in the end (and we all know about his extreme geek fetish...) Thanks again for reading, and for your wonderful review! I really appreciate it!

Reviewer: MattMel (Signed) · Date: April 01, 2009 12:44 PM · On: Survival of the Horniest

LOL oh how sweet!!! I love Justins weirdness!!! Poor Brian all speechless on his own party. Great work, I love the last line!

Author's Response: Hee hee- I'm glad you liked the last line :-D I had to google where baby octapuses come from, because I had no clue- they hatch from eggs, apparently. Isn't that weird? Anyway, I'm really glad you enjoyed this story. I just love brainbox!Justin- Brian pretends to be unimpressed, but we all know he has a geek fetish... LOL! Thanks so much for reading, and for your wonderful review. I really appreciate it!

This was just to cute and FUNNY! I kept laughing out loud and trying to do it quietly so as not to wake my roomate! GREAT WORK!!!

Author's Response: Thanks Meg :-D I'm very glad you enjoyed this story, and that it made you laugh (my apologies to your roomate. LOL!) Thanks so much for reading, and for your amazing comment- it means a lot :-)

Oh my God!!  Your comedic fics are my favorite.  No one else in the fandom should even try to be funny.  (ok, some can, but...you've got them all beat hands down.)  I laugh my ass off everytime!  Loved it.

Author's Response: Thanks Kate! I'm so glad you enjoyed this story :-) I'll admit that, while I enjoy the hardcore angst of hurt-comforts, I really need the comic relief sometimes as an outlet for my bizarre sense of humour. I'm glad you find it amusing as well... Thanks again for reading, and for your much-adored review. I appreciate it so much :-)

Can't stop laughing!  This is amazing, better than amazing!  I saw the title and knew it was going to be good, but this....this is simply amazing!  Great job!

Author's Response: LOL :-D I'm really glad you enjoyed this story, and that it made you laugh! I'm glad you liked the title as well- Justin tells it like it is... Thanks so much for reading, and for your amazing review. I means a lot :-)

Ha, ha, ha.  That was something wonderful to read.  I really enjoyed it.  Thanks for that.  I needed it.  Hugs, Tay

This was hilarious and BRILLIANT. I love Planet Earth and Animal Planet! I had to stop reading a couple of times because I was laughing so hard. I can just imagine Justin doing the Bird of Paradise dance.

Author's Response: LOL :-D I'm glad you found this amusing! As someone who does a lot of biology, I've always loved nature's little quirks- they're presented so well in 'Planet Earth' :-) I think Justin would make a good Bird of Paradise- he's certainly got the sexual display down to a fine art... Thanks again for reading, and for your wonderful review. I really appreciate it!

Reviewer: Dawn (Anonymous) · Date: April 01, 2009 07:17 AM · On: Survival of the Horniest

This was really hillarious! Keep up the good work. I lost my job and these stories are keeping me sane right now.

 Thanks

Author's Response: Thanks Dawn! I'm glad this gave you a laugh :-) I'm sorry to hear about your job- that totally sucks. I'm glad you're keeping yourself sane, though- that's always important. Thanks again for reading, and for your wonderful review! I really appreciate it :-D
