Brian needs to get Gus away from Melanie.
Melanie is an okay character, but her attitude in the show towards Brian about anything concerning Gus was what made me hate her.
Gus is going to grow up resenting her and Linds if that keeps up.

Every time Justin’s eyes met Brian’s, Justin smiled. One of those breathtaking smiles that seem to light up the world. He was a little dizzy and constantly felt like laughing. And dancing. Like a mug of root beer, bubbles tickled their way to his surface. Justin decided that this must be what it’s like if disco were always playing, everywhere you went. Disco is silly, but happy. The happiest music in the world. You can’t help but want to dance, giggle, shake your head, and smile so broadly your face aches.
I love this description and I can totally picture exactly what Justin must look like when he's feeling that happy!
One might ask how this was possible post-bashing, post-death threats, post-pariahdom, post-putting-off-school-for-a-year-because-he-couldn’t-afford-it. The answer was quite simple. Though it was now a two-parter.
1) Justin’s mystery man
2) Brian
They made the world beautiful. And that, that, made everything possible.
Love the explanation - wait til Justin finds out his 2 reasons are one and the same!
I also liked the dazed grumpy Brian - I can totally see him being overwhelmed not only by the whole dating Justin situation, but by Cynthia bypassing him like that.
Brian is clearly going to have to come clean with Justin though and I don't forsee that being an easy conversation, especially if Brian instists on being stubborn...

I'm really enjoying this story. I especially like the fact that Cynthia/Daphne had to work to get them together. Neither one of the guys would have made the effort (LOL).
