Had to laugh about Gus yelling in Justin's ear. Little one's definitely have a knack for that whether they're in your arms or on the phone. Ever notice how the smaller the kid is the bigger their voice seems to be in correlation? *g*

Rarely do cops follow up on a victim's condition unless work requires it.

Author's Response: There are a lot of photos in this story to add more visual to the plot. Most of them are positive however but with police cases some are not with the plot around them. Remember it's only a photo of a sleeping boy with a sad plot wrote around it. No one is harmed in the writing of this fiction story! :) In this alternate universe no one is totally in character but all are beautiful; even Craig.

Author's Response: That bunny was a smart talented young blond detective aiming to stop a fool from hurting anyone including the bunny! Some cops can work to retirement and never fire a gun; others fire them very often depending on the cases they get. That's the nature of police work.

I agree with Brian. I wouldn't keep Gwen and Carter in charge. How did it get so bad under their leadership? They should have nipped it in the bud when it first started. I'm glad James and Stephen are getting a raise, reward money and promoted. They deserve it!

Author's Response: Brian has not made his final decision on Carter and Gwen yet. He doesn't have anyone now to replace them too. More on that later in the story; very preceptive of you to note it. Carter was recently hired and the dirty cops were well involved before he came on board but Gwen knew about but he was afraid of them for good reasons. Rex looks a lot better now all healed up and wealthy! Thanks Gina for reading and commenting very much!

Author's Response: Writing alternate universe gives us creative license to do that. Central to my story is the love between Brian and Justin, and that's how this is partly canon with respect to the lovers.

Great chapter! I dont think i get the fact that being partners at work means be in partners in bed, but im sure i'll understand as the story develops. I think i like that michael is not in the picture, i cant stand him usually.
Author's Response: Work partners usually don't sleep together but this is a special situation. Brian is alone and refused to love again and everyone is worried about him. Justin is a virgin and needs to come out; he has waited for his father to give him to a good man for his first time. Justin is also a new detective with special mental powers that are revealed later. Pairing Justin with Brian was killing two birds with one stone; getting Justin over his virginity, and Brian Kinney over his heartbreak from losing his lover who died on assignment with the Narcotics Division. I hope it makes more sense to you as you read. Please comment again. I have a plot bunny named Mr. Hamster that lives to read your comments. :)

Okay, I can't take it anymore. I have a severe dislike for all of your stories. I read them, try to give them a chance, but I can't do it. You have good plots, I'll give you that, but your story flow has major gaps. I'm not trying to be mean, I know loads of people like you and your stories, but for me the overall AU-ness and out of character-ness that all your stories have make me want to be sick.
