One of the hardest things in German to grasp is the use of two verbs in a sentence.
For example; the Beatle song "I want to hold your hand" would be said in German:
"I want your hand to hold." Notice the second verb goes on the end of the sentence.
The other hurdle is genders of nouns.
Der, die, and das for "the" (noun) in masculine, feminine and nuteral that is like Spanish nouns.
If you get over that stuff German is easy and you only have to learn the new words. Oh yeah one more thing.
Some words can become really long but they are only logical combinations of smaller words. Do let them frighten you; it's easy.

my grandfather was fluent in german but he died before i was born.

I don't know how I didn't see this fic before! I love AWZ, Roman and Deniz and I always wanted to read a fic about them! Since they got back together I've been watching them on Youtube, anxious for the next chapter. Anyway, keep the chapters coming! I love your fic and the way you write!

My bad! Since you like AWZ I assumed you were German or know the language. Since English comes from lower German it's not that hard to learn once you get the common words down that are the same in both lingos. Online translators can help too. I studied two years in college but it was ages ago and I'm very rusty with it today.
Author's Response: ive noticed that german is almost like spanish i dont know if it's like other languages where when you speak or write it the words are all in different orders, if you understand what i mean. and one word in the language means more than one thing.

I hope readers give your unique story a chance. The writing is excellent and the characters are very interesting.
I had no knowledge about AWZ so I looked it up online to learn it's about a gay soap in German and very popular in Europe. Here is a great You Tube link for a clip about the characters with more links to follow. It has Engish sub-titles.

I bored writing qaf stories and theirs so much i can do with AWZ and it's a lot of fun to write.
