wow, I read that review... what a bizarre outlook that person has?! This story is fascinating, I really don't want to read some in depth, lengthy descriptions of the fashion industry and the way it works, I want to read about Brian and Justin's developing relationship, what their lives are like and the fashion industry. I think you've written a very entertaining and interesting story here. The majority of us are concerned about B/J not a complete education on the fashion industry, and I think you've aptly combined facets of the industry to make the story interesting and educational. You're an excellent writer and I love how you've written both our boys in your story. Also the other characters are written well too. Don't let one odd, negative review throw you, you've done great! First of all to CSF, LOVE what you wrote! "...the words dissappear and become visual..." Love that description of someones writing.
Second, to MeandBJ... you know that old saying? Those who can, do...those who cannot...critique. this SEA person, though I wouldn't call a troll, most certainly is a bitter, sad person. If she/he didn't like your story, they should have simply moved on. But they didn't, they had to stop and tell you how much they didn't like your story and why. And do you know why they did that? Because it makes he/she feel 'superior' to have made you feel bad. Unfortunatley hon, that's what it takes to make some ppl feel relevant. But they are only relevant to you, if you let them be.
As a fellow writer, I know what it takes to put all those thoughts in your head down on paper. To share your vision then to worry about the grammer, spelling, typo's...ai yi yi yi yi! lol And ofcourse some smart ass is always going to point out your flaws. "sigh" but you know why we write, don't you? We have this story in us that just has to come out. We feel good sharing what excites us and if it excites others, GREAT! If it doesn't, well that's life. Can't please em all.
So you jsut keep on writing! Don't let anyone EVER make you feel bad about wanting to share a story. You have a wonderful imagination and heart, they have nothing but bitterness and cruel words.

I was happy to see a new chapter, shocked when I clicked to read. You can't let reviews like this get you down. There is an author on this site who I think story is almost hitting pedophile status but, I stopped reading and moved on. Hi, Mery! You just take it to heart to much. One negative review doesn't mean that your story is bad. People have different tastes and preferences. Someone just stop reading if he doesn't like the story and another person writes a mean review. That's not definitely the end of the world. I remember my first negative review (I make fanvideo for different movies), something like "Ewwww! This sucks!" but I also do remember the first review that told me that my work was real masterpiece and that it really affected someone. Such reviews shoudn't uninspire you they shoud make you prove everyone that you can do it much better. Hope, I've encouraged you a little.

Finding a story set in fashion industry, I was interested, but by the fifth chapter I'm disappointed. You don't deliver what your setting promises. Fashion industry has no role in this story. i can't find one reason why you chose to set the characters in this environment.
I wonder if you have any inside knowledge of the industry you're writing about. A lot of things that would put hindrances in the paths of the lovers exists there (You know that the genre "romance" is about lovers not getting each other easily, don't you?). For example, the abundance of business trips, irregular working hours, pressure of launching a new season and so on would keep the lovers apart.
You're writing just about the sexual issues between an owner and an employee. That's an issue that could take place in any field of business. In addition, those issues have already been discussed in the original show. Boring! Your story seems to be the same B/J romance that I've read so many times in so many other stories by so many writers.
You can still save the story. It's not a lost cause, but you need to wake up!
Author's Response: First of all sorry to disappoint you but I am writing a story as I want it to be. It may be set in fashion industry but just like you said it still a romance and I am establishing the emotions between the two characters, and I don't know why you question the plot I gave in this story, but to give you a hint - I am not even at the heart of the story. You are correct, I have no knowledge in fashion industry - I am just a fanfic writter who just started recently, if I want to write a serious novel I've would probably make a in-dept research about it.

This story seems like its going to be very interesting. Can,t wait for the next chapter. Also, i like stories that are different from brian always being an ad man.
