Slight angst but such a wonderful and thoughtful story. I really enjoyed it. These are the issues these two would go through as their relationship progressed. I liked the mentions of canon, like Alex, the psychologist and visiting the kids, Hunter in his twenties and in the masters program (eventualities). xo

So much angst - I couldn't put this down until I was sure Justin had stopped his bizarre and destructive behaviour. This was a really gripping story and I'm looking forward to starting the sequel, although not right now - it's 1.00am and I have work today lol.

This is no good! (Your story is good, though) Justin was cruel, dumping someone without a real reason (cheating or hitting or whatever) mostly is. I don't know if I were able to take someone back after doing that to me (not just a slip but a real, purposely decicion against me), even if I loved him very much. Maybe I even wish that I had the strenghth to not giving a second chance, because no one should be tramped on, me incleded.
I don't think that this way of coming back together is a good foundation for a healthy relationship. Wish Brian had more pride and self esteem and Justin had to show more how sorry he is. Why did he choose someone above his partner anyway?? There really is some talking required!
I'm looking forward how you deal with this mess.

Oh, poor Brian! Being kind of dumped after all these years. Has to hurt as hell.
Intresting way of telling your story, strictly from Brians point of view. I like that in this one, it's special and it works well.

This was great... Is a step to far a sequel of this story? I made the mistake of reading that one first.
Author's Response: Yes, it is. But it was more about wanting to write a baby story and already having the start-off point ready at hand with this story. Which just shows how lazy I am. I think they can both be read on their own, but I suppose you will enjoy this one more if you read it first. Looks like you enjoyed it anyway. Thank you.
