Absolutely loved this chapter! First of all, Brian going soft in the backroom is priceless, especially when it is because of it he comes to realize and acknowledge how much he misses Justin. I love that while he stays in character, with all his insecurities, fears and emotional walls, he goes to Justin, and lays his feelings out, leaving himself open and vulnerable. For me, Brian learning how to love, and let himself be loved is what makes this show irrestible. In this chapter, there is passion and fun amongst the sadness and grief, and it was all nicely written and thoroughly enjoyable to read. - thanks - This story has left me anxious for the next chapter since the beginning, and after more than 40 chapters, I find that has not diminished at all. Keep it coming!

If we stupid people realised that there are more than one answers and took our head out of ass then, maybe just maybe, life would turn out differently... Ahhh what is it they say about hindsight?

This was a very nice update though a bit too reminiscent for me, and many more I suspect, and let me tell you I have found myself in both Justin's and Debbie's shoes more times than I can remember.

Cant wait for the thoughts of Brian when he returns to the loft and realizes that Justin left, will he harden his heart again or go after him?

What about some suspence with Stockwell, nothing like a good scare to make Brian pull his head out of his ass.

I suppose we will have to wait and see how that will play out.

Hmmmm, that's Brian Kinney for you I guess, though the blast came out of the blue here, but then again the subject is quite volatile soooo...

However, I foresee a Stockwell moment in the imminent future of the boys, when Justin is not gonna be living at the loft and Brian will blame himself [so Kinney-esque] for the troubles of the blond twink.

We have to wait and see what you have them do for the next update.

Oh, I'm not worried! I got kind of a kick out of the chapter actually!  Brian has no idea how funny he is when he's clawing that last inch to hang on to his "I don't believe in love" motto!  He was really angry when he stormed out!  He must really love him a lot!  :-)

I liked the little chat between the gang about recent changes of Brian's behaviour. It's good that Michael is able to see it without denial like Lindsay does. I hope she won't try to manipulate Justin by introduce him to Ethan. Because Ethan is bad news for Brian and Justin relationship. Melanie was great in this chapter. Her pregnancy allow her to put Lindsay in her place. As soon as she opens her mouth, Lindsay tries to silence her It would frustrate me too if I was in Melanie's place. I would love to see Brian tell her to leave him alone, that is no/kind of relationship with Justin is none of her business. She's not his mother and if he need one he would go to Debbie. If he begin a relatioship with Justin, it would be between the two of them. Not three. If it's grow to three, it would include Gus, not Lindsay. I hope Melanie can makes St-James, Hobbs and Craig pay for what they did to Justin.

We got our three chapter update *hurray* and we have not moved in the story at all. Where did Justin go, is Brian gonna find him and explain to him that he is not "in bed" with Stockwell and will Justin believe him (I mean come on, of course he will believe him...eventually!) I am reading and sorry I haven't left more reviews lately! I've relished every chapter of your story.

Your writing is really a treasure, I am very impressed with the quality of it. And it is becoming my favorite on MW.  And the way you can write the sex!! I think this is the best, hottest B/J first time I've read in several years. I think you really captured the way Brian felt about Justin his first time with him, including the need to be his mentor and protect. A great mix of originality and canon.

 It's rare to read a writer who can make the B/J sex fresh and new, and who can go beyond the mechanics of the sex act. Excellent work overall, thank you for writing!!

Thanks very much!  It's a difficult subject because the mechanics have been done to death in such explicit detail, it's hard to come up with a fresh way of describing it.  I try to concentrate more on the emotional aspect of B/J sex ... after all, that's what made Justin's appeal unique for Brian in the first place!  Glad it seems to have worked.

I loved this chapter! There was just enough of the sarcastic wit to make Brian Kinney and the walls around his heart recognizable and familiar, with glimpses of warmth and affection that just have to make 'ya smile! Sitting on the sofa with Justin, watching a movie and laughing heartily - now that's hot! There is very little quite as sexy as Brian allowing life to bring him joy - whatever form it comes in.
