QAF Brian and Justin Fanfiction

Obviously Justin was the featured attraction with Gus a close second.  Love that Gus named one of his goldfish Sunshine and that Brian had to win him another pair.

Author's Response:

Another one read!  You truly are spoiling me, and I can't thank you enough. Thank you for reading and for all the comments.  I hope you continue to enjoy what I write.  Your feedback is what inspires me to keep going!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

That visit to the funhouse sounded HOT and just a tad dangerous.  Thank goodness Mikey, Gus and JR didn't try to find them!

Author's Response:

Well, that would have definitely spoiled 'their' kind of fun - ha!  Thanks for the comment, my friend!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Justin is such a caring person to do that for a friend.  Gloria did a fantastic job on the caricature.  It enhanses an already great story.  How do you make fried Koolaid?

Author's Response:

LOL!  I had no idea, so I had to Google it. Apparently it's kind of like a funnel cake, only it has Kool Aid mixed in.  But it's supposedly quite popular at state fairs.;)  So glad you liked the caricature!  It really helps having a beta who's also an artist.;) I think she enjoyed working on it, too.  Thank you very much for reading and for all the comments!  I feel so spoiled!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Kids!  The things we do for them.  Poor Brian, I can't believe she thought he was 40 :0.  At least Brian didn't refuse and he won.  Thinking about him walking around with a giant giraffe and two gold fish boggles the mind.  Lunch with Mikey and JR!  Well written and witty.  Now just what is it that Brian has spotted?

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: November 14, 2013 11:46 PM · On: Pigs and Horses and Sheep, Oh My!

This is the type of story I adore.  A caring Brian doing something he doesn't want to do because his son does.  Seeing something for the first time through a child's eyes is a real treat.  Thankfully I've never had to explain what procreate means. lol.

I put off reading this story ,because it sounded silly, but it was funny. I was worried when Justin was missing .Then I thought maybe the timeline was different when Brian sees Justin , but it allmade sense in the end .very funny

Author's Response:

Thank you, Cheryll, for giving this one a go.  Yes, I could see from the banner and the snyopsis how it might appear to be silly, and it certainly didn't have a lot of angst in it - more like cotton candy fluff - ha!  So I'm glad you took a chance on reading this one and enjoyed it.:)  Thank you for doing that and for the feedback; that is so encouraging to me as a writer.  I hope you will enjoy some more of my stories as well.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

*CLAP CLAP CLAP* Wonderful!

This chapter had me laughing my ass off!  Gus is cute as hell, and when you combine him with Justin and let them gang up on Brian, it is definitely a show worth watching!

Horny the giraffe.  OMG I nearly died on that one!  I can just imagine the looks on his mothers' faces when he told them that one!  But knowing how they have both treated Brian (and Justin), they deserved the shock!

And the scene at the end was perfect.  Their own funhouse mirror and some private time to enjoy it.

Great story!

Nita

Author's Response:

Aww...thanks, Sweetie; you're very kind.  I just thought the whole idea of Brian being subjected to attending a state fair was just too good to pass up!  Shows you, though, the 'torture' he's willing to go through just to keep his boys happy.:)  Thanks again for reading and for all the comments, Nita!:)  *Big Hug*  ~Kimberly

Wait a minute while I fan myself.  That was just too HOT for words!

Love how playful you  made it.  It showed a whole other side to their lovemaking.  I laughed at the moving walkway, and now I'll never be able to watch Grease and see the Sugar Shack part of the funhouse without thinking of this! LOL  And then the wall of mirrors.  Too funny when Justin led them out with no problem.

Still not sure I'd trust my son with Michael, but I can only hope Gus has puked all over the man by the time Brian finds them.  That would make my day!

Loving this story!

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  LOL!  Liked your comment about Gus puking all over Michael - now THERE'S an interesting mental picture - ha!  Where else would the boys go but the 'funhouse?'   As you've no doubt noticed I DO enjoy playing with the boys with the back-and-forth bantering.  In fact if you haven't read "Roughing It" yet I think you would like that one.  Brian going camping?  Need I say more?  (Oh, and Michael gets a little comeuppance to boot!).  Thanks again for reading and for the lovely comments!:)

Reviewer: buttercup32409 (Signed) · Date: January 29, 2012 07:42 AM · On: Someone Has a Big Head!

I adore the two of them together!  They always have so much fun, no matter what they're doing or where they are!

I wonder why Brian doesn't like men with goatees?  Could it have something to do with a certain fiddle playing asshole we all know and hate?  Hmmmmm

Justin had to know what would happen when he kept laughing at Brian, and even poking fun at his predicament in the drawing.  Brian always has to have the last laugh!  Although, i doubt Justin was complaining at the "payback" Brian demanded! LOL

Another great chapter!  Will try to read the rest either later tonight or sometime tomorrow.

Nita

Author's Response:

LOL!  I think you might be right about the goatee - ha!  I always DID think that looked ridiculous on "Ian" anyway.:)  Don't worry - the boys will be paying a visit to the 'funhouse' soon, and they will create a whole new meaning to the word; thanks again for reading and taking the time to review, Nita!  I appreciate that so much.  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

LOL Gus owns Brian!  I loved it!

The whole age/weight thing reminded me of the guy who wrote the scathing article about Brian when he won the hero award.  I can't think of his name right now, but he wrote that Brian was basically a pedophile and that he was 31.  The only thing Brian cared about was the '31' part!  Priceless!

Another great chapter.  The only thing that ruined it for me was, well, you know, Michael! LOL

Nita

Author's Response:

Ha!  Don't worry - I totally agree about Michael - not my favorite guy on the show.:)  Thank you again for the comments, my dear; I appreciate that so much. :)

OMG I am laughing so hard right now!  I just started reading this story this morning, and I already know it will be one of my favorites.  I love it!

Poor Brian.  How on earth does he keep getting himself into these messes?  And Gus has to be the cutest thing ever!

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  So great to see you reading this story!  Yes, I think only Justin and Gus could get Brian to do things that are totally against his better judgment - ha!  Thanks so much for reading and commenting, my friend.  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

This was a cute story. An antidote to angst.

Author's Response:

Thank you for reading and for the feedback, Kate!  Yes, every once in a while I CAN do fluff as hard as that is to imagine looking at what I have going now.:)  I actually enjoy the lighter stories where I can interject some humor into them.  I think that's why I enjoyed writing the "Roughing It" and "Arms Open Wide" stories so much.:)  Thanks again for taking the time to leave feedback; that means a lot to me.:)

Loved Gus in this chapter.  Brian is putty in his hands.  I really liked Brian's reactions to seeing Justin and Gus together.  The entire story is laced with fun and humor.  Really one of the best reads I've had in a while.  I enjoy an angst-fest as much as anyone, but it is really nice to read a story like this one for a change.  It is fair season, so your timing is perfect.  Thanks so much for getting this one done so quickly.  Now to put it away in my favorites.

Author's Response:

You're very kind, Kacey!  I'm so pleased you liked it.:)  They DO come up with some crazy foods at those fairs, don't they?  LOL!  But I bet they don't have the sorts of 'amusements' that the boys found at THAT fair - ha!  It was kind of nice to write one without all the drama for a change, too!  I really must work on coming up with another, more light-hearted one for one of my next new stories - I LOVE to write humorous ones - but as much as my fingers are itching to start a new one, I'm tying them down until I at least get one more story done so I can get the other WIPs updated faster.:)  Thanks again for all the support, Kacey - I am very grateful.:)

Well, that was definitely a fun time.  Hot, hot, hot.   And, quite creative. Wouldn't it have been fun to be a fly on the funhouse wall?  Thanks!

Author's Response:

Thank you for reading and reviewing, Kacey!  Yes, I would have not only loved to have been a silent observer, but I would have been more than happy to participate, too - ha!  So glad you're enjoying this one!  Thanks for all your support, my friend.:)

I loved Justin tormenting Brian.  The whole chapter was fun and funny.  And, of course, is there anyone who doesn't love a jealous Brian?  I really appreciate all the detail--the giraffe, the goldfish, the ruined Gucci sandals...I could just see it all.  And, thanks so much for including the caricature.  It is great!  Your friend is very talented.  Sorry to be so absent of late.  I've been six days without electricity because of Irene.  Finally got it last evening.  My plan for the holiday weekend is to enjoy the electricity.  Now, on to the fun in the funhouse.

Author's Response:

Hi, my dear!  Always a delight to hear from you!  I'm very glad you like this one - I like to see Brian get tormented by his little blond, too.:)  And of course I love llttle Gus as well.  Thanks for letting me know you're reading this one and for the feedback.  BTW - don't recall if you've read either "Arms Open Wide" or the sequel, "Payback," but if you haven't and you like Justin tormenting Brian and vice versa, those are perfect for you!  Thanks again for all the reviews, Kacey - I am very flattered and grateful for that.:)  Glad you have your electricity back - we went without it for a week back in Sept of '98 and it was NOT fun, so I can certainly sympathize!:)

This was so cute. The mental image I have of Brian carrying around a stuffed giraffe makes me giggle! He's such a good dad.

I should really go to our fair before it closes for the year...

just an update while we are waiting for "hearts".  we survived irene.  what a horrible few days.  busy, busy, busy.  we are all ok.  hospital and shelters were full for quite a while.  lee in rehab next door-they have a wonderful facility for people.  he is doing well.  his concussion didn't affect his mental capacities at all.  he will probably be there a month or so.  we go to see him after our shifts.  need to keep him upbeat and looking forward to the future. i think he will be able to get back to his work eventually.  we are hoping sooner rather than later.  his doctor said he may be on light duty for a few months to get reacclimated.  yeah!!.  you really don't know how much you miss someone til they are not there.  bb very busy.  said to say hi as well as lee. we have a new resident on board (dan) he is doing well, but it's just not the same.  you know what i mean.  good luck with your students!!  lol

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  So glad you're all okay!  And I'm thrilled to hear about Lee's continuing improvement - that's great!  Tell him I said "hello" and I hope he's back to work soon.:)  Tell Brian hello as well.:)  I will definitely gets "Heart's Desire's" next chapter posted today - I have it written but have to finish proofing it first.  I had to stop at around 10,000 words and I haven't even gotten the RV out of the parking lot yet - ack!  But Lee should like it, since it has some more of the dirty politics afoot in it - ha!  So good to hear from you - take care.  Hope you can get Dan 'conditioned' properly - LOL!:)

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, Laura - I didn't want to neglect my other stories, but knew I could wrap this one up rather quickly and then be able to devote more time to updating the others, so I'm relieved to get another one finished.  Thank you for taking the time out of your own busy writing schedule to read and review, my friend.  I just started teaching again this past week so that's going to cramp my style somewhat when it comes to reading other stories for a while.:(  But I'm going to do my best to keep up with yours!  Thanks again for your kindness.:)

Author's Response:

Thank you, my friend!  Please stay safe during the storm - it looks like a whalloper!  Tell Lee that I'm thinking of him and I'm working on his favorite story right now (MHD) - I have about 3,600 words written so far, which is a 'normal' chapter by most standards - ha!  But I WOULD like to at least get them on the RV - not there yet but I'm really close.  Tell him one of his villans is featured prominently in this chapter at the beginning - he'll probably like that!  Thanks again for all your support of my stories, lindc - I am so grateful to you and your 'peeps.'  Take care of yourself and let me know how you're doing later when you have time to catch your breath!:)

"It's just smut this time, people....Just plain smut - ha!" ... YEAH! I like smut... nothing wrong with just plain smut... every B/J story needs some... speaking of... you think the creaters of the show came up with Brian and Justin because those initials are BJ?

Besides that... awesome story, so far... fun and entertaining... kind of like Operation Birthday, but from Brian's POV... and they totally need a mirrored bed! Okay... now to finish this crazy story. :)

Author's Response:

I never understood why Brian didn't put a mirror over the bed - with his exhibitionist tendencies, it seems like it would have been a natural choice - LOL!  And now I am back to the angst - I'm off to begin a certain RV trip for a campaign in "My Heart's Desire!"  Thanks for all your kindness, Laura.:)

I really, really loved this story but to the point, where I discovered, that Brian already knows Justin. Why? This story is so funny and hilarious, Brian in rural suroundings is absolut amazingly characterized. And I so loved him watching a to him totally unknown Justin. Sorry for this sad review, for me the story somehow feels over. (Hangs head here)

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend - are you sad because you found out it is NOT an AU?  I'm not sure exactly what you meant, but I believe that's the case.  I DID indicate in the second chapter that he knew Justin because I mentioned him as his partner, so I was assuming everyone knew that they were already involved and that the caricaturist would turn out to be him...   Sorry it took a wrong turn for you.....BUT I can say it is definitely not over for them - their next chapter is about to take place in the funhouse, and obviously Brian's idea of a funhouse is much different than a typical one...I am glad, at least, that you found parts of it funny, and I hope you won't give up on reading the rest of it.  I think it will be finished probably in the next chapter.  In any case, thank you for reading part of it and for leaving me feedback.

I switched over from fanfic to see the artwork and i m so glad i did. that was absolutly hysterical!  One question. What is that red box and those red squares coming out of his pocket?

And a great story. Please don t rush it. And I'm loving Gus as I do in  all Gus stories. He's got Brian wrapped around a cute little finger! So adorable!

Author's Response:

LOL!  I was WAITING for someone to ask me that question!  I think I'll just leave you in the dark until the next chapter, because it's mentioned in the dialogue.  And just in case anyone wants to see a bigger picture of the caricature, I will try and post a larger copy of it on my author's page.  So glad you're liking the story, my friend!  I do enjoy writing Gus into a lot of my stories as you know.  I have most of the next chapter done but I'm not sure if it will be complete at that point or not - will have to see.:)  Thanks again for the morale booster - I think I needed that.:)

Author's Response:

Hi, Dear!  Glad the interviews seem to go well overall and I'm thrilled that Lee will actually be going HOME!  That's great!  Tell him that I wish him the best.  I have the rest of this story almost done so I'll probably stop long enough to finish it up to it's complete - I still have the boys in the 'fun house' at the moment - LOL!  But I have already written part of the next installment of "Heart's Desire," so it shouldn't be too long before I can hopefully post it, also.  I start my teaching class tomorrow, so that will unfortunately cut into it just a little.  But I will definitely still be posting on a regular basis.:)  Thanks as always for your very kind words and regular feedback - that is very special to me.:)

This is so cute. Reminds me off our summer fair. And I have to go with Brian - corndogs are vile!! And deep fried everything! We have deep fried Mars bars and butter here. *gag*

Author's Response:

Thanks, Megan Rose!  This is kind of a nice change of pace after all the angst I've been writing lately.:)  And you're right - fairs and festivals are definitely NOT made for 'healthy' eating - even the vegetables are deep-fried - ack!  But I could definitely see Brian as uncomfortable in this setting, can't you?  I would say Justin and Gus (and maybe Mikey to a lesser extent) would be about the only people who could persuade him to do something like this.  Speaking of Justin, he will definitely be prominently featured in the next chapter.  Not sure if that will be the end of it or not - may have an epilogue after it, but this story should be relatively short.  They actually have deep-fried butter there?  Ew....!  Actually, the deep-fried Mars bars sound heavenly but fattening as all get out!  Ha!  Thanks as always for reading and commenting, my friend, I really appreciate that.  And now I am off to the boys' next 'shower.':)

Oh yay!  So glad to see this story again.  I think it is absolutely hilarious.  As usual, your description is so real that it is like being there.  Brian is so far out of his comfort zone.  His reactions to the fair, along with all of his observations are too funny.  Gus is too cute and such a good manipulator.  Go Gus!  Who else could get Brian to haul around a plastic bag with goldfish inside?  Hope you get a chance to add to this story soon.  Thanks.

Author's Response:

Hi, Kacey!  So glad you're enjoying this.  I'm actually enjoying writing one that's not full of drama and angst for a change, although I really like that, too.  Wait until you see the drawing of Brian in the next chapter - yes, he will have his own caricature, courtesy of a dear friend/reader of mine - I can't wait!  I promise to update this just as soon as I can - if I see it may only be one more chapter I might actually write it out of order just to get it finished, since I've actually got about 900 words of the next chapter written already.  Thanks for reading and leaving me your thoughts - I really appreciate that.:)

this is a cute story.  i assume justin was doing the caricaturs, or was brian going to have his done for him.  anyhoo this is a departure from the angst stories, although i live for those.  Lee going to rehab for a couple weeks to get him walking better.  He is doing better and wants me to ask about26541 heart's desire. haha.  so i did.  bb and i are going to california to check out a few hospitals there.  We think we need a change of pace.  We are killing ourselves here.  We love the work, but we have a life outside of work and we don't have too much time to enjoy ourselves.  I imagine you will have to get all your stories updated soon as you have to return to school.  right??  lol

Author's Response:

Hi, dear - tell Lee best of luck with his rehab!  It will be a little while before "Heart's Desire" is updated, but I think it's second in line after "Shower Scenes," which I think is up next.  I may try to get that one completed in the next chapter, but I always say that and it runs on and on and on....!  I can certainly see why you would want a change of pace.  California is about as far away from where you work now, though, isn't it?  But it would be great if the two of you could work at the same place; maybe Lee could eventually join you.:)  I hope he has a full recovery from his injuries  - tell him just for him I will try to make sure his favorite story gets as 'down and dirty' as I can get it, both politically-speaking and from the boys' prospective - ha!  After all, they've got to properly christen that RV.....!  I start teaching again this coming Wednesday - had inservice today and will again tomorrow, so that will definitely slow down my story updating just a bit going forward.  But I promise to keep updating regularly, don't worry.  Thanks so much for all your support.  Hope you and Brian have a safe and productive trip.:)  Take care.

Okay, I almost didn't get past your first sentence...Brian in form-fitting khaki shorts and brown wife-beater...nice.  Not sure I need any additional story.  On the other hand, what a great and original idea.  Brian Kinney at a state fair.  Let the fun begin.  My parents took us to the state fair every year.  I cannot tell you how many goats, rabbits, sheep, cows (and bulls), pigeons, ducks, geese, horses and ponies, turkeys, etc. that I've paraded past going up and down aisles of these animals in tents.  I loved it as a kid.  And, all the rest of the sights and sounds of the state fair.  Brian's reactions to it all already are hilarious.  Cannot wait to see what's up next.  Excellent.

Author's Response:

Hi, Kacey!  Glad you got past the first sentence - LOL!  I know Brian wasn't shown very much wearing shorts (okay, not at all, I think, unless you count him modeling in front of Justin for the white party), but I can see him on occasion going that route, as long as he's fashionable of course - ha!  I'm so pleased you liked this one - I was craving a little humor to go with all the angst-filled stories I've been writing (going back to my "Roughing It" roots, I suppose), and this idea popped into my head since it's coming up on Ohio State Fair season...:)  Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed it.:)  Justin will definitely be making a special 'guest appearance' in the next chapter.:)  This story should be relatively short - I'll be updating it soon.  Thanks again, my friend.:)
