Loved the story!!   And what a sweet (no pun intended) Valentine's gift Brian had sent to Justin.    I loved the little notes he had included, but of course the best one was the last one, one that Justin would never suspect - Marry Me!!

OMG! There's everything in there and you are one of the few who can make Brian romantic without being ridiculous. These are the stories I love the most,: the sexual tension, without sex, romantic without silly things, credible B/J  and thei special unique love that makes their story my favourite one. thanks Kim!!! Again and again

Author's Response:

Hi, Ersilia!  Can I tell you how happy your comments about my stories makes me? I love how you take the time to tell me what you like about them. That means so much to me.  That, and all the support you give me. Thank you very much for always being so encouraging, and for all the kind words you leave me.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Just as delicious as the first time I read it.  Now I have to go out and buy me some Hershey kisses.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Phyllis!  You have my permission, but I doubt if you will find any with the same sayings - ha!  I imagine they will personalize them for you, but I don't think they would approve of these - LOL!  Thank you for your kind words, and all the support.  ~Kim

Love this story, another one of Predec2's amazing glimpses into the lives of B&J.  It was great to revisit this Valentine Day with the boys.  Bill

Kimberly had no input in the selection of this month's featured story. When selecting one for Valentine's Day, this one was an admin's favorite.

I loved this so much. It was hot AND romantic, and that's not always easy to do, but you did it - and you did it GREAT :) I love romantic Brian. And I don't know why, but I'd love to see Brian wearing a ring. There is something so sexy about that.

Author's Response:

Hi, Sally! I'm so happy you enjoyed this one.:) And I agree; I find him sexy anyway, but the idea of him committing to Justin wearing a ring only adds to his gorgeousness.;) Thanks so much for reading this one! And I'm looking forward to reading your first story on here; I'm loving the premise so far.;)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hot!  Valentine surprises are the best.  Brian's proposal at the end and his reasoning for wanting to be married was perfect!

Author's Response:

Thank you again, Michelle!  So great to see you reading some more of my stories.  I could definitely see Brian's unique twist on Valentine's Day with his own sayings can't you?  I had a lot of fun coming up with each one - ha!  I'm so pleased that you enjoyed this one.  Thank you again for reading and taking the time to leave me feedback; that is very motivating to me.:) *Hugs*  ~Kim

I LOVED the story!!! I loved the idea!!!! Congratulations!! It would be great to read about the wedding... I hope you'll be posting the next part of "Paper Hearts Killer" soon!!! I hope to read you soon!!!!! Kisses!!!!

Author's Response:

Hi, Mafita!  Thanks very much for the lovely comments, my friend.:)  I'm so glad that you liked it!  I think only Mr. Kinney could have come up with the creative sayings for his partner, don't you?  I had thought about extending this to a wedding, but I really want to try and concentrate on updating my WIPs faster.  And speaking of which, I AM working on the next chapter of "Paper Hearts Killer" right now and it's shaping up to be a doozy!  I have a ways to go yet but it's definitely up for update next, so I hope you'll bear with me until I can get it completed.  I will be working on it every day until it's ready to post, though, so rest assured it's coming shortly.:)

Thanks again for reading and especially commenting, Mafita; I really appreciate that!  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

Wow I wish someone would do that for me.  Iloved everything about this story.  So sweet and surprising from Brian.  He has been hiding all this romance under a bushel..Glad it has come out.  Good story.  Loved it Ta!

Author's Response:

Hi, Lin-Anne! Thanks so much for reading and for your lovely comments.:)  I thought if Brian DID decide to 'do romance' for Valentine's this might be the way it would manifest itself.  So glad that you enjoyed the story; I would love this treatment any day, especially from such a gorgeous man (sigh...).  Thanks again for taking the time to leave feedback; I am very appreciative.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

Reviewer: COLLEEN (Anonymous) · Date: February 07, 2012 10:35 AM · On: My Favorite Eye Candy

THIS STORY IS AMAZING.  THE PICTURES WERE A NICE SURPRISE.  YOUR WRITING ABILITY IS VERY MATURE.  YOU MUST HAVE STUDIED SOMEWHERE TO HAVE SUCH A FLAIR FOR DESCRIPTION.  THE DETAIL IN YOUR WRITING IS WHAT I ENJOY.  SO MANY WRITERS DO NOT HAVE THAT GIFT.  JUST THOUGHT I WOULD REVIEW THIS ONE.  I READ A LOT HERE BUT FIND YOURS TO BE MY KIND OF READ.  I DIDN'T REALIZE WHAT A LARGE BODY OF WORK YOU HAVE HERE.  I CAN SEE WHERE MY SPARE MOMENTS ARE GOING TO BE SPENT.  I'M GOING TO START AT YOUR BEGINNING HERE AND READ MY WAY UP TO YOUR UNFNISHED ONES.  I GUESS IT WILL TAKE A LITTLE WHILE, BUT I'M SURE I WILL FIND THEM FULFILLING.  WILL REVIEW AS I FINISH.  I'M GLAD SOMEONE TURNED ME ON TO YOUR BODY OF WORK.

Author's Response:

Hi, Colleen....wow, I so humbled by your lovely comments; thank you so much, my friend; that means a lot to me as a writer!  I appreciate especially your remarks about the details - I do try to describe what I'm writing enough that hopefully the reader can see the scene in their mind's eye, but I suppose there's a fine line between doing that and OVERdoing it...hopefully in most cases I strike the right balance.:)

As far as the number of stories, yes, they've been growing!  I've been writing for a little over two years now - always wanted to, I guess, but never quite had the right 'inspiration' until these boys showed up.:)  I've never had any formal training, though, unless you count a 5th-grade English teacher who insisted on us memorizing every prepositional phrase in the English language (along with the Gettysburg address and Joyce Kilmer's "Trees" - ha!).  So I thank you sincerely for all the wonderful praise - that means more to me than you'll ever know.:)

I will try in the upcoming months to write some more one-shots in between my uncompleted stories, because I do enjoy that.  (Maybe Tricky and Easter?  I DO see him coming to visit again in the future - I think he's beginning to worm his way into Brian's heart, just like ANOTHER blond.)

I am thankful that your friend recommended me to you; thank you again for all the wonderful feedback!  *Big hug* back to you.:)  ~Kimberly

I have died and gone to heaven.  This is my kind of story as I am an incurable romantic.  This was very special You really need to do one shots for all the holidays.  Your Christmas one was wonderful.I love stories that make me cry-foolish I guess, but that's what i love.  Brian can be a very romantic guy given the right circumstances.  This one was unforgettable.  Thanks for this wonderful read.  I really enjoyed it.

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie!  Don't worry - I'm an incurable romantic when it comes to these boys, too, so don't apologize!  I think you're right about Brian - he always had a hard time expressing his feelings especially when it came to Justin because he meant more to him than anyone, but look at the examples he had to follow from his parents and sister!  Yuck!  And when he finally DID find a way to tell Justin how he felt, instead of the roses he had been contemplating at one point (before the "Ian" fiasco, he goes out and buys him a mansion (or palace in Justin's vernacular - ha!). Yeah, just a little over the top but that was his way of trying to show how he feels (even the hustler - in his odd way I guess he thought that was a GOOD idea a the time!).

I DO think he matured over the years and learned exactly what it meant to love someone and how to express his love (ex:  the golden gardenias - such a small gesture but with a huge meaning for Justin and his feelings for him).  At least in my world I like to think so.

Thanks so much for the wonderful feedback, Kym!  So glad you liked this one.  I will try to do some more one-shots in the future - I DO tend to navigate more toward the multi-chapter fics for some reason, so this was a nice change in a way for me.:)  Thanks for all the support you've given me - I hope I can continue to write  stories that you will enjoy for a long time to come.:)  *Hugs*

Love it so much. Thanks for writing xxxxx

Author's Response:

Why, thank you, Kate!  So glad that you liked it!  I need to try and write some other 'one-shots' (just not in my blood, though, apparently; even my 'one-shots' tend to wind up being more than ONE chapter - LOL!  Thanks so much for reading and especially leaving a comment; I am very appreciative.  Hope you will continue to enjoy some of my other stories.  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

Author's Response:

Thanks so much for reading and commenting, Erni!  I'm so delighted that you enjoyed it.  I couldn't let Valentine's Day go by without a little something about the boys.:)  And now I am moving back to the heavy drama in "Paper Hearts Killer."  Thanks again for taking the time to leave feedback; I really appreciate that!  *Hugs* ~Kimberly

" ...both adamant that they didn’t need any outward signs for them or anyone else to prove their devotion to each other. And they didn’t. They didn’t NEED them, but as time went on Brian came to the realization that he wanted them. He wanted to show others that he had matured, that he was no longer afraid to affirm his deep love for this man."

That was weeping beautiful and so romantic. I'll just be happy if my husband washes dishes that day.

Great job again!

Author's Response:

Ha!  Loved the line about your husband washing dishes!  Sad but true, isn't it???  My father has even been known to ask ME to go out and get his card for my mother!  How weird is that?  But he's 80 years old, so I guess some effort at remembrance is better than nothing at all.:)

Thanks for reading and for your comments, my friend; as always I really appreciate your support.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

Ah, such romantic silly stuff.  What fun!

Author's Response:

I know - probably out of the realm of possibility for the Brian Kinney we saw on the show - at least until the very end. But I like to think he might have come around afterward.:)  Thanks so much for reading and for the kinds words my friend.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

AW! How adorable!!! I loved it!!! I wish there had been more! I never wanted it to end! Great work!!

Author's Response:

Thank you, my friend!  So glad you liked it!  I was tempted to continue it, but decided for the sake of my WIPs I still have going that I'd better not.  I think we'll just have to use our imaginations to flesh it out (oops - pardon the choice of word - ha!).  We all kind of know where it was heading anyway, don't we?  (wink, wink).  Thanks again for reading and for taking the time to leave me feedback, Stephanie, I really appreciate that!:)  *Hugs* ~Kimberly

thanks for the update on RED.  was a nice write up, although not glowing for either actors.. your write up will,i think, be much better.  the play must be quite good or they wouldn't take it on the road to Cleveland wouldn't you agree?  on a different note BB is waiting with bated breath for Paper Hearts.  He says now that you ladies have your stories caught up it's his turn.. i gave him a call to tell him what was forthcoming.  lol

Author's Response:

Ha!  I think he's had enough of the 'sappy, romantic' stories and wants one now with some meat on its bones - ha!  Although I would certainly consider "My Heart's Desire" to be a pretty angsty one right now.:)  Tell Brian not to worry - it's definitely up next and the way I have it being played out the concern and suspense is about to be turned up a notch (hint, hint...).

Still not sure if I'll be going up to Cleveland to see "Red" there - it's a 5-hour drive but I wouldn't go by myself.  I'm hoping I can talk my niece into going, but I'll have to see. I noticed "Red" just played here in Cincinnati back in November; if they had only waited and put Randy in it I would have been on Cloud Nine, but he didn't perform in that version - rats!!

Either way I will be sure to do a write up on Live Journal about my trip and if I AM lucky enough to get another photo of him I'll be sure to post it on my author's page here. We'll be sitting four rows back so I should have a good look at him!  And if he should want to come over to the hotel across the street for breakfast the next morning, that would be more than all right with me - ha!  Take care and hope you and the 'peeps' have a great week at work!  I'll get "Paper Hearts" updated just as soon as I can.:)

Outrageously romantic!

Author's Response:

Thank you for reading - I THINK this means you liked it - right?  LOL!   I know Brian was actually being romantic here for a change, but I think he at least kept a little bit of his normal 'unusual' spin on things.:)

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment - I really appreciate that!:)  *Hugs* ~Kimberly

off today and guess what i found.  this is the sweetest most adorable story you have written.  the idea was precious.  your mind knows no bounds.  so romantic reducing me to a blubbering idiot.  you know me cry at the drop of a hat at romantic brian.  he outdid himself in this one.  love, love, love it.  i certainly give this one a twenty plus rating.     just a little side note.  went on-line to see if there were any reviews for RED. there was a write up by peter filicia for the star ledger that was interesting saying this was the third time randy had played a visual artist.  just fyi.  you have probably read it already. lol

Author's Response:

Thanks, Sweetie!  I'm glad you have some time off from your exhausting schedule and that you liked this one.  Thank you for the wonderful encouragement.:)

Yes, I did see the one about Randy having played an artist three times now; it mentioned he actually liked art personally, so I took the liberty of ordering him a book that displays Rothko's works; I hope I get the chance to give it to him!  I think there's another newer review out now, too, that is very complimentary of his performance.  Here's the link if you want to take a look at it:  http://stagepartners.org/2012/02/sensitive-challenging-red-at-george-street-playhouse/

Can't wait to see him act again!  I'm going with a friend I met online through my fiction who has never seen him onstage before so naturally she's all giddy at the thought!  Wish me luck that I can snag another photo of him somehow!  Thanks again for all your wonderful support, lindc.  I'll be working on "Paper Hearts Killer" next and I see a LOT of drama coming up shortly!  Hope you have a great week at work.:)  Tell everyone I said hello.:)  *Hugs*

Awww....thanks Shari!  I'm so glad you liked it.:)  I know it was pretty sappy, but sometimes I just have to write some fluff in between all the drama - ha!  Thanks so much for reading and taking the time to comment; I really appreciate that!  *Hugs* ~Kimberly

Hello, my friend!

This was simply delightful - start to finish! I loved it immensely. Sweet, funny... and the hotness that can only be found through these two incredible men. But, above all so incredibly romantic... and being that it was done in a post 513 setting, I think this would have been in character for the formerly not so romantic Mr. Kinney. Very well done, my dear. This indeed brightened my day! ~Hugs~

Author's Response:

Thank you, my dear friend; always love to read your thoughts.:)  Thank you for taking the time to leave me feedback; you know so well how much that means to me.:)  Thanks again - I'm looking forward to continuation of your own stories as well.:)  *Big Hug* back to you.:) ~Kim
