Grinning from ear to ear! I was surfing on my phone at work and found that you'd updated. I was elated and dejected at the same time. I found myself so tempted to read, but forced myself to wait until I could read at home comfortably on my laptop.
What a fabulous chapter, my dear. I loved this so much! This first time for them was so intensely erotic. I was utterly captivated. Brian proceeded with claiming Justin with such finesse that I found myself breathless and hanging on to each word. This was incredible. And, quite obviously - I don't like Michael. End of discussion there! Lol.
As always, I greatly look forward to the continuation of this riveting story. Excellent job with this chapter. I am completely hooked! :) *Hugssss*

Somehow you have pulled this off without sounding cheesy. I thought Brian was going to attack Justin but it was more of a seduction. Perfect!

Ahhh what a wonderful double surprise! After a long and stressful day this was just the perfect antidote! I loved this so much. Brian continues to display that he cares for Justin, whether either of them realizes it or not. I just love the pace things are developing, as well as the drama of the meddling Brandon. I have only wrote one story with Brandon as a villian, and it's good to see someone other than Ethan. Realistically speaking I think Brandon makes a much more likely nemesis than Ethan ever could.

I'm entranced by your story; I really like these types of historical fics.:) I'm not sure how I would have liked Brian forcing himself on Justin, so I'm actually glad you didn't go that direction. I liked this angle better, because I think it gives us a glimpse of how different his feelings might be for this latest conquest.:) Any other time he would not have held back like he did.
BTW - LOVED the trick you pulled with Michael filling in for Brian - you really had me fooled there! Way to go! I'll be anxiously waiting for the rest of your story. *Hugs* ~Kimberly

Thank you, that's awesome to know ^^ Yeah a rape scene would've been incredibly hard to write although highly likely, historically speaking and as you said that's exactly what I hoped the readers would catch. Brian feels something different for Justin. More secrets are unravelled about why Brian is the way he is, and about his family. So hope I still keep you interested. And thank you! I loved writing it myself! I mean Brian Kinney apologizing? Lol. *Huggss*

Wow. I've been looking forward to this update and it didn't disappoint. I love how Justin stood his ground. It looks like it basically paid off for him. Although, it wouldn't surprise me if King Brian still does things in his own way with Justin even if only from total frustration. I felt so badly for Justin, but during such a time I also understand that this is what the King is used to... and changing him would be no easy feat. I do love a Dark!Brian, but I also hope Justin wins his heart as well. Amazing job with such a period piece. I'm excited to read more...

It is going to be hard for Justin, accomodating to all the changes he's subjected to all of a sudden. Once again, Thank you. :)

wow, this was really good. i felt so bad for justin. being married off to someone he doesn't even know. i'm hoping though that justin will break through brian's very high walls and get to his heart. can't wait for next update. please continue soon.

But yeah Justin will have far more conflicting emotions and is harder for him to break down his own walls at first to realise that he is falling in love with Brian.
