I always loved the change of expression on Brian's face whenever he was with his son, whether he was a newborn or a toddler. You could see such tenderness on his face and tell that he was nothing like his father had been to him. How I wish they had explored this even more, but it was so gratifying to see how he slowly grew to love his son so deeply by the time the show was over.

Hey! just a little update on the peeps. Lee is getting married in July and moving to Florida. He is going to another hospital to do his work. I am so happy for them. Sad but happy. Our happy band of renegades is breaking up. I guess everything changes at sometime. That's life. I guess the biggest news is BB and I are moving to California. A hospital there has given us positions we can't turn dow. The money is fantastic. He wouldn't go without me so I guess we are a package deal. HA! We will be staying with Nonie, you remember her, til we can find living quarters. She is a peach and has wanted me to move there for a couple years. Her husband dies a few months ago and her son has gone on to med school, so she is alone and unhappy with a hugh house. She wants me to stay there and BB too. We'll see. I sure would save some money. I would like a small house as I never have had one. I guess I have to check my options. As people age goals change. We will be moving June 15th as we gave notice so they could fill our positions here. So I probably won't be writing here for a while. Please have a wonderful time in Germany and leave us copius writings on your qaf adventure. lol

I'm sure he will be preoccupied with much more important matters than reading my stories in the future, but I do hope he will somehow keep in touch and let me know how he is doing. And I am very happy, too, for you and Brian. What an exciting future for you both! And it's wonderful that you will be going together; I'm sure that will make the transition a lot smoother. I do hope that once you and Brian are settled in you will have time occasionally to read more of my stories. If you are not able to, I would certainly understand, but I would most definitely miss the constant encouragement and friendship you have given me. I'm envious now, though, because with you in CA you may have a chance to go see Gale in one of his plays!! That's one of my goals eventually. I was so disappointed to learn he wasn't going to be able to come to Cologne, but maybe that will give me an excuse to come out to CA and perhaps meet you and Brian in person one day.:)

Hello, my name is Nonie and I am a great friend of Lindc's. We just had a wonderful vacation in Vegas. She was telling me of this site and all of your posted stories. She knows what a book freak I am and calls me a nerd among other stupid funny things. She has been at me to read here for over a year now. We met about 15 years ago in nursing school, She went east and I stayed in Cal. We e-mail regularly bur don't see each other as often as we probably should. Anyway I digress, on to this story. You have a remarkable skill and should be very proud of your pen, or as it may be, keys to paper. I took a creative writing class a few years ago-but it was laughable. Have to stick to reading. Sorry didn't mean to do a life story here. Lindc said just log on and talk to you, didn't mean to get so wordy. I really have enjoyed this story. It touched my heart. Hmmmmmm! was wondering where you have been-now i see. we had missed you and your updates. i got home and thought i'd see what was here. wow! to my surprise see what i found. this story is so tender and beautiful cried buckets. sorry, but you know how i love sentimental love stories. i know i am tired-just got off 36 hour stretch so things affect me more when i'm this pooped. still, your attention to detail has me floored as usual. i just wish you knew how remarkedly talented you are. i think everyone would like to be treated by their lover, husband, wife like this whether a birthday or not-i know i would. i have given many massages to patients over the years-but, not with this much arousal hopefully. just love this one. you are the best, girl. off to get some much needed zeees. at least we all on our team have a three day weekend off. have to do some much needed cleaning around here. looks like a tornado hit. ha ha! lol
