I enjoy this story very much but it's not a good place to stop. I would have thought that an opening night of Justin show is a good place to end this story. You left quite a few loss ends like Brian's own agency, Justin recovery, their marriage. Please consider one or two more chapters.

I think this needs a sequel...you did a great job of tying up most of the story, but now you've added a few new items that we have to explore. Will Justin be willing to make a life long commitment to Brian? Will he be able to return to art? What is going to happen to Brian's business, can he make a go of it on his own. I think you can see that this story is not finished. I have enjoyed each chapter.

I can't believe there will only be one more chapter....I think this story needs more. We have to find out how Sam and Gus complete their college education, when will they decided to get married and start a family of beautiful babies. I hope that Brian and Justin can work thru all the problems they still need to and finally get their happy ever after. I'm still not ready for Jennifer to be let off the hook for all her evil works. She needs to really suffer and make amends for all she did to ruin Justin's life. And let not forget Michael, he is nothing but trouble. I know this is sad, but all I could think was they left Brian in the waiting room all that time!! I love that Brian opened up in front of Gus. I just can't think of a better person (in this story) for him to let witness that. All that time lost, I'm glad they aren't allowing any more to escape them! I think Molly would have let Justin go with Brian no matter what the reason. Love that they are in the same living area together again!!

That sure was a lot of emotion and drama all in one chapter. I think Justin is being too easy on Jennifer to be ready to forgive her for what she did to him. Finally, Brian is starting to see the truth. He's not ready to know all the truth but he will be soon.
The way Justin handle the situation was very mature and I appreciated it. But I can't stop wanting Justin to be as mean with the gang as their are with him and "punish" Jennifer. It's frustating that Justin had been through all this sh*t because of other's opinion, hate, jealousy... and he still acte like a Care Bear. I have epilepsy and I was very impressed with how you described the seizure. I had seizures grandmal but I never urinated myself (than God, right?) Instead, I'd break out in an all over sweat. In 2001, thanks to a neighbor's advice I started taking an amino acid called Taurine along with my prescribed meds. I still have the odd petit mal but I've never had another grand mal (convulsion) again.
Re: the story, am still enjoying it very much, I'm enjoying the gradual buildup and Sam and Gus' relationship
Author's Response: First of all. I'm glad that you are better now, and I hope you will continue to inprove. I Know that there are diferent kind of seizures. When I was little, a classmate had one in the midle of the classroom. It was really scary, because she fell on the floor in convulsions and began to spit foam... Even the teacher was shocked. However, in this story, Justin doesn't have epilepsy exactly. The cause of his seizures is going to be revealed in a few chapters.

I just hope that when everyone will know the truth about Justin's life (and how Jennifer "manipulated" him), Justin won't accepte their apologies after their horribles comments about him and his daughter. It's a thing to blame him but Sam didn't do anything to them. They don't even know her. I'm so disappointed by Brian's comments. How would he feel if people did the same thing to Gus because of his father? A lot of people don't appreciate the way Brian treats them.
I understand that Sam doesn't want to see Gus's family after what happened. But Justin has nothing against Gus, so why doesn't Sam bring him home? I would expect Justin wants to know Gus now that he and Sam become serious about their relationship. Justin gives her a lot of freedom but she's still minor even if he trusts her.
In terms of friends, I think Justin must find his own. I never believed their even been other than Brian's friends to him. Ben would have been a good start but he's also Michael's husband. The way Ben and everyone else allowed Michael's attitude irritates me.
I also have to say that I'm not very comfortable with the idea of Gus and Sam having sex knowing that Brian and Justin belongs to each other. I can't imagine Brian and Justin together if Gus and Sam are together too. I can't stop thinking that Justin think the same. He had his chance with the love of his life, Brian but it didn't work. Knowing Sam thinks Gus is hers, Justin would let her have the happiness he couldn't have.
Author's Response: Of course Justin wants to meet Gus. He always loved him, and although he is Brian's son, Justin knows that Gus is different. Intense chapter!
That diner scene was a nightmare. I can't believe everyone was so quick to condemn Justin without hearing his side of the story. Perhaps his daughter could have been conceived much like Gus.
Brian telling Gus to not trust Same was heartbreaking. I hope he has better sense.

I just can't believe how Michael can manupulate everybody so easily. It's so frustrating. And because of that Brian and Justin lose more time apart.
Justin told Sam everything. Brian didn't want to tell Gus anything. Justin has nothing to hide. Brian clearly regrets something.
It's time Justin lives his life for himself (if not for Sam) but not for Craig, Jennifer or Brian. He has to believe he deserve happiness too.

Depressing or not, I loved this chapter. You revealed so much I was curious about. Justin's path was not the only one that was altered. Brian doesn't own his agency and seems dissatified with his life with the exception of Gus, and Justin seems to be in the same predicament. Justin's medical condition is worse with the seizures. I wondered why he didn't drive.
I see that Jennifer feels remorseful of the decision she made to keep Justin and Brian apart years before. She needs to be more proactive in rectifying that problem (I'm so mad at her).

As you announced, yes, sad one. I like how you keep the plot that they are tiptoeing around each other :).
The only thing I noticed, as, when you write about Sam (female) you talk about "he" and "his" instead of "she" and "her"
f.e.:
"How come? Doesn’t she have parents?"
"His mother died last summer and his father... Well, apparently, he’s not able to drive. I didn’t want to be nosy, Dad, but from what Sam told me, he must have a disability or something.”
Don´t know if it is intentional.

Usually, I check and recheck every chapter before posting it in order to correct any error, because I don't have a beta reader, but I guess those escaped my checking. However, I have to say that in the sentences: "He's not able to drive" and "he must have a disability..." I was refering to Justin not Sam. This is exceedingly sad. I hate, more than the seizures or the nerve damage, that Justin is so depressed. He's given up his entire life because of it. Unfortunately that's one of the biggest problems with depression -- lack of confidence, lack of desire.

With such an intriguing start, this is going to be another addition - awaiting chapter after chapter.
With Justin and Julia, I thought of a Juliet or some other 'J' name instead of Samantha,but I am sure you have a reasoning to that.
If Gus wasn't straight, obviously he is going to meet Samantha(Sam). However,with a special friend name Sam, Brian would have been extremely proud.
So many possiblilties!!! I love it!!!

I had reservations about reading the story because you had Justin in a hetero relationship. I almost stopped mid story but persevered on and I'm happy I did. The premise is interesting and I'm curious to see how this is all going to come together. I can see that the children are going to become attracted to each other, but I'm anxious to see how Justin is going to be able to trust Brian again.

Jennifer really disgusts me. All of this is her fault. Her "boy" isn't happy because of her and I hope Justin will learn the truth soon enough. She really hopes they can be together again after what she did and what happened. I would love that Justin takes revenge but I know he isn't like that. She kept the only person that mattered away from him. Her motives are good only for her. Nobody can possibly forgive what she did to him.
Brian didn't want him back then. Even if Justin hadn't really moved on he isn't the same person either. He isn't "Sunshine" anymore. I hope he'll start to tell people to back off and mind their business. He doesn't need them (Jennifer) and can live without them (he did without Brian for 17 years). It's time for Brian to chase after Justin.
I don't like Justin being a pushover. I'm so anti-Jen right now. Grrr!
