I see you have started writing newer chapters so I assume your problemh was solved. However, in case...yur backed up files would not be in Backup....they would probably be in wherever Notepad is....If not...I'm truly sorry, I know exactly how you feel, I worked on a novel once and lost 17 chapters....a whole Part 1 of a novel and I had to start all....over ....again. Once upon a time..... After grieving for 3 days LOL
Re the chapter: Interesting story Marcus is weaving....However I would have hit him over the head with a frying pan and tied him up with his shoelaces by now.... Brian really is an asshole, isn t he?

As for my files... sadly, they are gone. And then today, to add more salt to the wound, I wrote another chapter onto MW and started editing it before hitting "Add" but then the doorbell rang, and then the phone rang and then I finally went back upstairs to click "Add," and my stupid computer said "Internet Explorer unable to connect" and I screamed WTF?!?!? And of course reloaded the page and all was fine...except for the fact that MY ENTIRE CHAPTER WAS GONE. So... it might be a few more days until an update. LOL

LMAO!!! super funny how Justin's mind drifting to somewhere else whilst Markus was telling him the family story. Especially when he thought of "yum sugar cookies" I laughed out loud!! That's exactly what I did when my parents gave me a lecture!

Author's Response: YOu know, I had a hard time WRITING this chapter because of the history lesson I included. LOL
Thankfully, you don't have to remember any of those characters since they were all murdered (except Markus and the present Taylors) lol Next chapter will hopefully be easier to follow :)

omg!! i love this story. i couldn't stop reading long enough to review each chapter, so i figured this would work. OMG!! i am so sorry to hear about your computer. i know how it feels to have everything crash. i actually have an external hard -drive that i save all my files to just in case this happens. you may want to look into that. as for recovering what you lost. i don't know if that will be possible. since you told the computer 'yes' when it asked about recovery, the system went back to the last time the computer was in working order. you might want to see where your files were your files were backed up. try using the 'help' button on your start bar, and ask 'restore after recovery.' it might give you some options.
good luck. i really hope you can continue with this story.

I was LMAO at the different scenarios Justin imagined Brian was in as to why he didn't show up, but his reaction to it was even funnier.I love your characterizations of Justin in your stories.

I personally like the child-delivery scenario best. Of course, Brian, as the hero of that tale, would necessarily be named the godfather. He is most likely not ignoring Justin's show. He is simply too exhilarated about the situation and is now on a frantic search for the Prada or Armani line for newborns. ;P
I think it would still behoove him to get his Calvin Klein's reinforced.
Cannot wait to see where this all goes!
