I just found this complete and starting reading it. I was hooked on the first chapter and then kept on reading. This was TOTALLY AWESOME!!! I loved how you work Brian's decision into becoming a witch so that he could protect his own family and be with Justin at the same time.

    Thank you for this wonderful story.  I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.  As I said at the very first feedback, I generally don’t read Vampire Stories. Happily I gave this one a try and was rewarded with terrific reading.  Thank you.

    The ending?  I am satisfied.  Brian is nobodies pet, and having become a witch gives him the power and independence he needs.  Also, being a witch, Brian could stay young and beautiful for another 40 years. I am sure helped him make that decision.

    Again, wonderful story and I do appreciate the time and effort it took to create this fic.

I just discover this story 3 weeks ago and read it all at ones. It was a great story and I enjoy it very much although vampires - whitces - werewolf are not my "cup of tea".

I was really hoping he had decided; however just when I think I know where this is going you throw in a twist to make it more entertaining. Author's Response: lol me too...my muse suddenly hit a detour as I had planned to have Brian become a hybrid...I had an awesome sex scene all planned out too LOL but then my muse said, "wait!" and I slammed the brakes LOL

Snow my love thank you for sharing such a wonderful story with us, it has been my extreme pleasure to have been invited along for the ride.

I have to say, I still have the sinking feeling that this epic is going end with our boys not being together :'( It seemed as if Brian had finally come to a decision only to have his insecurities get in the way once again.

I'm not sure how him talking with Molly will help him seeing as how she and Jennifer chose to leave Justin behind after Craig's death. Will she try to convince Kali and Lucien to try and help him? I guess the better question would be is there even anything they can do to help?

I'm really looking forward to the next chapter~JP

P.S. reading this chapter was the perfect way for me to wind down after a full day of rigorous military training (you are a lifesaver) ;)

    I have been disappointed with Justin these last few chapter.  He is happy being King of the Hybrids.  It is a life he wants to live.  As for my point of view, it is not a life that Brian would like to live.  Even before this chapter, I figured that it is time for Brian to say good bye to Justin.  It makes sense to me.

   Problem is, that this wasn’t the last chapter.  Justin's interest in witch craft, and where are the witches?  Is there something that can be done?  If not, maybe Justin and Brian can live a type of long distance relationship.   Maybe yes, maybe no. 

   I gather there is one more chapter.  Let’s see what you come up with.  Personally, I am ok, with the separation.  I don’t see a way out.

Author's Response: I'm thinking this story may end at chapter 52..potentially 53 if I can't tie all the loose ends together in 52. Brian never felt welcomed in the pack. Other than Justin, there is no desire for him to join them, and Justin finally realized that Brian won't ever be happy choosing to be with him in the castle...there will always be regret of some kind because of Brian's past experiences with the pack as a human. It's too much bad memories and bad history. The witches are coming back! You'll see them soon :) Thanks so much for your reviews!

I love, love, love this chapter. Most of all I love the way you portray Brian and Justin. The little things like Brian messing up by having his cell off; then he tried to start an argument; Justin on the other hand knowing what Brian is doing and not taking the bait. I really appreciate the way you put the small but personal idiosyncrasies of a character into your fic.

It never fails to surprise me how people feel the need to trash someone's story because they don't agree with their storyline, despite the fact that you were upfront about what this chapter entailed beforehand.  And I would not be surprised in the least if this was the same, 'wonderful' reviewer I had on my own story, "It's A Puzzle," when I, too, was reamed for daring to portray a loving relationship between B and J by allowing Justin to top Brian.  The comments I received were so hurtful to me, having been posted right right after my mother wound up in the ER, that I just deleted the entire story rather than deal with it at the time.  In hindsight, I'm sorry I did that now; I should have just deleted the troll's comments instead and/or reported her/him. 

I'm sorry that people cannot be tolerant of other's opinions, and I totally disagree with this person.  I see nothing wrong with this at all. We should allow constructive criticism of stories, but to me this clearly crosses the line and offers nothing beneficial at all.

You just keep writing your story the way you see fit and ignore the others who cannot heed your warnings and deem it their mission in life to read what they don't like and decide to be nasty anyway.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

wow, that was a really hot chapter. I´m a Huge toppy Justin fan;) , and it was great to see, Brian beeing accepting of Justins hybrid form!

The end was really hard. I really want Brian to be with Justin forever, but cant really forgett about Gus and the gang. If a hybrid never ages Brian wont be able to see Gus in the future. I think Brian reaaly needs to think about this.

I feel really sorry for both of them, they are really put in a horrible position!

I’m not sure what country you are in but your Wednesday must be my Thursday. So yes Valentine’s Day for me was treatment day and what a way to distract me with a toppy Justin. Nice. I loooove a toppy Justin. I felt so sorry for Justin at the end of this chapter but hopefully they can come up with a solution for them both to be happy with whatever Brian chooses. Well, Brian had a good idea about the Hybrid bodyguards but with no mark I guess it wasn't good idea after all.

Poor Justin he really feels bad about this and he's already said he didn't want to live without Brian.

I’m pleased that Jennifer and Molly get to lead almost normal lives for now. You tied this part up nicely, but I am worried, as it seems like Justin will be living alone in the castle even though he will have the other hybrids. I hope the hybrids don’t take up too much of Justin’s time since Brian is waiting. I wonder if Brian will be thinking brick wall, brick wall when they finally get together so Justin doesn’t know how much he loves him. LOL Please hurry back.

     Thanks, that was a wonderful chapter – so much happened.  I had hoped that Craig would be spared and banished to Transylvania or where ever they can send a Hybrid never to return.  Not that he is not a sh*t, but he is Justin’s father.  Even Justin wanted to resolve the problem without killing.  Very clever to have Dustin fight Craig as I really didn’t want Justin to kill his own father.  Still Justin helped, but only to save Brian.

    I know you say that we are near the end of this story, yet there are so many issues to be resolved.  To list a few:

          Justin really had no desire to be King.  Now what?

          What is Brian’s role.  One of your other readers joked that now Brian would be Queen.  I don’t think Brian would like to be called that (that was funny).  Now what?

          What about Molly and Jennifer?

          What about Dustin’s (I don’t know what you call them) friends?

    Yes, the end is near but still…….

I think Justin should kill Dustin, it's obvious the trust Justin had in Dustin will be over now. I guess Craig hasn't been as horrible as I thought when he handed Brian the cork screw I was sure it was going to end up in Brian's heart. I only hope that when Craig kills Brian Justin will be so destroyed that he will kill himself and then the lovers will be joined in an eternal relationship where ever killed hybrids go...I'm sure Molly won't last much longer either. I hate to imagine how Craig is going to punish her for having a working mind and the need to use it.

When I thought Justin has finally a step ahead to fight his father's manipulation you give us a chapter like that !

I'm sad for Justin. He really thought find a friend and ally in Dustin. I think Justin needed Dustin to kind of stand in Daphne spot. He could talk about anything with Daphne but he can be himself with Dustin without hiding his new life. But once again, Justin end up disappointed.

One good point, Craig think Molly is at St James but she's at Brian's loft. So it gives her little times before... I don't know what her father will do to her !

Okay I'm not real crazy about Brian being compelled by Craig seeing as he might not release him from the spell. Now Molly is in danger too because he had no control over himself.

I really wish Markus would wake the fuck up and finally see Craig for what he really is. Dustin should have told Justin exactly what the 'offering' was so that they could help Brian before it's too late.....fuck his loyalty to Craig :(

Finally, I ended up posting it because I couldn't see any other way around it. I will start the next chapter tomorrow...

     That was one interesting chapter, fun to read.  It was nice to meet once again, Scully and Mulder.  Maybe next chapter could be: “CSI – Pittsburg.”  What do you think?

     We now have an extra question.  Was the guy in the brown jacket really Craig?  If so, my new question is, who was that other person?  I sure hope it wasn’t Marcus.  Maybe it will help to hire Perry Mason.  Couldn’t hurt, right?
