Way to go Brian, that was excellent work helping Em and Drew like that. I bet it was such a surprise for the two men. I love romantic happy stories. Thank for this 💕💕
Author's Response: Normally my stories revolve solely around Brian and Justin, but I have a soft spot in my heart for Emmett and Drew too, and decided to give them a chance at the same happiness that Brian and Justin have.  I'm so glad you checked out this story and enjoyed it too.  Huge thanks for your comments, Vicki.  Warm hugs, Grammy

Ah I found another one I have not read before excellent and it has aged well like Brian's fine wine
Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked this one, Chris.  Brian and Justin will always be dearest to my heart, but Emmett came in a very close second.  I really didn't like the ending for him.  It broke my heart when George died because I could see him and Emmett together for years to come.  It was important that such a beautiful human being had his 'happily ever after' too.  Thank you so much for commenting.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Sweet little story. I've always adored Emmett and it's only fair he gets to end up with the perfect match, too. Thanks for writing! TAG
Author's Response: I adore Emmett too, Tag.  I just had to make sure he got his happily ever after the way he deserved.  I'm so happy you had fun with this story.  Thank you very much for the comments.  Huge hugs, Grammy

I loved it! This was a great way to get them back together.... I always thought that Emmett and Drew should've ended up together, I hated their breakup.... Anyway, I'll be reading you soon! ^-^ Kisses!
Author's Response: I hated it when they broke up Drew and Emmett.  I understood it, but they put Ted back with Blake in the end.  They could have done the same for Emmett and his man.  So I was more than happy to make it happen.  That's the fun of being a fanfic writer... you can have it the way you want it with favorite characters.  I'm really glad you enjoyed my ideas for them.  Thank you so much for the terrific comments, Mafita.  Huge hugs, Grammy

That was just yummy.  I could see this happening and wish that the show had let Brian grow and mature.  Oh well.
Another lovely read.  Thanks and all the best!
Laura
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your great comments, Laura.  I actually think the series did show Brian growing in maturity slowly (far too slowly for many), but I think his relationship with Justin had a lot to do with it.  Even though he loved Michael like a brother, Justin was the first time he loved someone enough to care more about their needs than his own.  Unselfishness like that helps one to mature.  With Justin being there, Brian is able to open up to other people, thus doing what he can to help Emmett.  Without Justin, I don't think he would have bothered.  And of course, there is always his reward that he knows Justin will give him for a job well done.  LOL!  Hugs, Grammy

Ted is pretty devious as he knows how to play Brian. “We both know the only reason you confided in Justin was because you wanted to see if he could come up with some plan to help out Emmett. And if he couldn't think of a good plan, you knew damned well he would come to me.” LOL I loved that line as to me that is the relationship Brian and Justin would have. Sorry I am off track here. I really wanted Emmett to end up with someone and he did from the ski trip to the reopening of Babylon, Calvin Culpepper but Drew was probably a better choice for him. I like how you wanted them all to have someone, especially Emmett as he was such a nice guy. Thank you for share this and I hope you can get your banner back soon.

  Cheers
Author's Response: Whoops!  I tend to pride myself on knowing almost everything about QAF, having watched it countless times since it was shown on Day One on Showtime, but obviously I missed something important.  I completely forgot about Calvin Culpepper from Emmett's hometown and their meeting at the ski lodge.  After getting out my trusty DVD's, I can see that Calvin was also at the reopening of Babylon too, so presumably the couple continued to see each other.  I have to say that I still like the idea of Emmett ending up with Drew in the end, so I would have written it that way, but certainly would have mentioned a break-up between Em and Calvin if I would have remembered their meeting.  Thanks for not slamming me on that careless mistake, Flossee.  I sure appreciate it, and your lovely comments.  Hugs, Grammy

P.S.  And my banner is back.  My Granddaughter had it in her file and accidentally deleted it along with some of her stuff.  I had no idea at first that it was gone.  Thanks for noticing it and letting me know.

 Hey love,
This is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever read. You don't see too many Emmett fics on here. So, this was refreshing.
~Nim*huggles*
Author's Response: What a very sweet thing to say, Nim.  Thank you very much.  I really love Emmett and was more than happy to give him the 'happily ever after' that he deserved.  I'm very glad you enjoyed it.  Hugs, Grammy

One of the best!  I also feel Emmett was left behind in the love department.  He was one of my favorites.  Good story!
Author's Response: Thank you very much for your comments, Linda.  I started thinking to myself that Emmett was left alone just as much as Brian at the end, and this idea popped into my head.  I'm just glad that others want him to have a happy ending too.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Boy Brian sure can come up with romantic ideas when it doesn't actually pertain to him. I think his enjoyment of the payment plan is what really got his juices going. I wonder how many bottles of that excellent vintage Emmett and Drew used to celebrate their reunion?? I hope Brian did remember to leave a few other items they might have needed, Oh wait we are talking about a room in Britin, they are always well stocked for any romantic situations. I bet there was a special shelf just for such supplies. I was hoping a camel might show up in this story, I keep giving you plenty of ideas how to add a nice double humped critter but you keep resisting. Oh well I'm sure it will happen soon. Amy did a great job on the banner. Lori
Author's Response: As always, I'm falling off my chair in giggles over your comments, Lori.  And you are so right...even the wine cellar is fully stocked with the necessities in case he and Justin get stuck in there or happen to look for a bottle at the same time. You know how spontaneous they can be.  LOL!  Btw, huge kuddos for the wine cellar.  It was a stroke of genius.  I swear someday I'll repay you with a camel ride when you least expect it.  Also want to let you know, my muse thanks you for being the best assistant she's ever had.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

Very cute! Reminds me of when the twins in Parent Trap locked their dads in the basement, although they unfortunately didn't get the same result (Yet!  I'm working on it - LOL!).  I always hated how these two didn't wind up together, also; they had great chemistry together.
Thanks for writing that wrong for us and sharing this sweet story with us.  And I love the way that Justin can always talk Brian into doing pretty much anything.  *Hugs*  ~Kim
Author's Response: I'm with you, Kim.  I think Emmett and Drew had great chemistry because they were so different in some ways and yet alike in the ones that mattered.  I was surprised when it dawned on me that not many stories seemed to focus on their 'happily ever after', so I had to give them that.  I'm really glad you liked what I did with it.  Thank you very much for your great comments.  Huge hugs, Grammy
