I hope this story doesn’t reflect you not being able to say goodbye to your grandmother, as that would be so sad. However, it is clear you were fond of her and I just love the little pieces like the Tomato burger you put in your fics in her honor. I always thought Debbie over reacted a little about the impromptu housewarming party, but then most arguments are over small insignificant things when it all comes down to it. I love the way you have written this, it’s very emotional.

Hi Flossee :) Writing this fic was kind of cathardic for me. You are correct in assuming that my grandmother played a significant role in my life, and putting little peices of her in my writing is my way of staying connected.
I always thought Debbie over reacted too, but we all know it wasn't the first time. When it came to Vic, she had just as much trouble letting go as she felt Brian did concerning his and Michael's friendship.

This is very touching JP. I love the relationship of Debs and Vic in QAF. I was really so sad when Vic died and my heart breaks for Debbie knowing that the last moment they shared together with his brother was a fight.
Thank you for writing this one esp the part when Debbie was asking forgiveness, I felt the love she will always have for her brother! {{{Hugs}}}

Thank you Blanca :) I too believe it was tragic the way their relationship turned sour, only to be unable to mend fences before it was too late. Debbie needed to find an inner peace after having treated Vic so badly, and the only way she could do that was to ask for forgiveness.
