Okay I just have to say this.  Michael is a SUPER VILLIAN , he DID NOT do a GOOD thing!!  Michael thought twice, twice to poison someone, you don't just ignore that.  You don't plan on killing anyone.  What he did does make him a EVIL VILLIAN, almost makes him a pretty dam scary person. He's still an asswipe friend. Okay, he went and talked to Craig but that doesn't errase the fact that he planned to murder someone twice just to have alone time with is best friend. No, sorry, can't aggree on this one.

Hi, I just found this site and love your story. You mentioned a story you were looking for that another member replied and said it is titled Tome's Mortality. It's not available by searching, do you have a copy you could share? I' new to QaF, just watched it for the 1st time a couple of months ago and am completely hooked to everything.

What the hell? I didn't think michael was evil In your story lol

Reviewer: CFC (Anonymous) · Date: September 29, 2013 02:27 PM · On: The Return to Normality.

Good story. Glad that Michael was not the cause.

I like that you resolved what Justin will be doing with himself as we'll as acknowledged his need for immunosuppressants.

Author's Response:

Yeah I couldn't do that to Michael.  I think he can be a pain sometimes, but he's not a bad person.

And i'm glad you liked the ending, I wanted it to feel like everything was really going to be ok - even with an altered lifestyle.  :)  Thanks for reviewing!

I love it. But there will be a sequence?

very nice story - although Brian keeping news from Justin never ends well - and this secret he is holding on to is quite a biggie...

still - I liked this alot - and the ending was quite enjoyable

Author's Response:

Yes, I wanted to keep that part open ended so people could decide for themselves if, when and how Justin found out.  Thanks so much for reviewing, I'm glad you liked it!!  <3

I wonder who's going to end up being the donor in the end? If you were really devious, you'd make it someone totally unexpected, like Michael or Craig, or maybe even Chris Hobbs . . . Of course that would give you a prime opportunity to kill off said donor in a convenient car crash or something. He he he! Not that I'm advocating violence, in any way, but it would be sooooooo satisfying! LOL! TAG

Author's Response:

This was very nice...."BUT" I stll do not care for Michael and yes he still is the bad guy and self center just for even thinking (key word) about hurting Justin or that matter anyone. And for Craig not so much Michael but more so Brian that made a point. and no matter what Justin is part of Craig.

ps I like Angelina Jolie there nothing plastic on her.

Author's Response:

Yeah, he was self-centered, but we all sometimes think things about people we have no intentions of following through on.  Thanks fo rthe review!  <3

Also, I never said I don't like her, she seems like a nice enough person from what the media shows.  I just meant that I don't like the plastic surgery.  I just don't find that attractive.  :)

He could do no wrong, and whenever he made a mistake everyone coddled him...

I think that sounds more like Michael...

You and I used to be inseparable. You relied on me. You wanted me around.

Used to be... Maybe it's time for Michael to grow up, like Brian finally has...

I can't help it, Michael will always be pathetic in my eyes... ~ Kathleen

Author's Response:

Well to me it sounds like both of them...But Michael is blind to his own faults and can't see what he had in common with Justin.  Now, I think as the series got on Justin outgrew that, but Michael couldn't see that Justin had grown, just like he hadn't seen Brian grow.  And now it's finally his turn!  :)

Thanks for your review!  <3

So my suspicions were right.....Craig actually came through for his son and Mikey convinced him to do it (god that leaves a bad taste in my mouth lol) I'm glad our little Sunshine came through his ordeal alright, now for the long recovery

Author's Response:

Yup!  You were!  And I'm sure with Brain by his side he'll be just fine.  Thanks so much for all your support!  <3

Reviewer: nicolle_midnight2013 (Signed) · Date: August 09, 2013 07:26 PM · On: The Donor.

Well, as I mentioned before I think Michael is immature and clings to the image of a Brian that he built and do not want to give it up. I hope to take their mistakes, it really release and allow yourself to be happy away from its unhealthy dependence Brian.

Please do not so easily reconciled with Justin Craig. His gesture was noble, but he still had to suffer a bit to regain the love and respect of his son.

I will try to find the story for you. I've also read it but can not remember his name, nor who is the author.

Your marriage is today, am I right? If it is, I reiterate my wishes.

A hug!

Fatima.

Author's Response:

I think Michael behaves the same way, but my hope was to get them in a place to be able to be friends, but let go of the dependence.

And don't worry, Craig and Justin still have a lot of work to do on their relationship.

And thanks, but someone found it already, so you don't need to; I don't want to waste your time Lol  :)

And it's tomorrow, but thank you!!  (I realized I posted that it was a week away last friday, because I thought it was already Saturday.  Shows what summer does to my brain Lol)

Thanks again!!  <3

Disappointed? Oh, hell no. You did a great job with the set up... and the surprise reveal! A love story, a medical mystery, a red herring that actually made sense, angst, pathos, confrontation, reconciliation... what did you leave out? Not much, if anything. Excellent twist. (I admit I was bouncing between Craig and a reformed Hobbs as candidates for the mystery donor.)

I'll be the first to admit that I'm decidedly not a Mikey lover - then again, most people think Angelina Jolie is beautiful and I don't. Go figure. But you had me at the brink of forming the lynch mob for the guy (woulda had him convicted on circumstantial evidence alone in a court of law), and then you pulled a Perry Mason on us. Good job.

Roni

Author's Response:

Well I'm glad you liked it so much!  And honestly when I first started plotting this out I considered Hobbs, but then I figured I hated him too much so I would make it Craig, who I hated to a slightly less degree.  :)

Hahaha, well, I don't think Angelina Jolie is all that pretty either, too much plastic.  Yuck!  I'm glad I made you think he was bad though, that was the goal, because I'm not a huge fan of Michael, and I wanted a realistic villain.  Lol

Thanks for the review!!!  <3

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: August 09, 2013 06:59 PM · On: The Donor.

Ok, got to give this one to Michael. Now he'll be able to grow up a little more.
Boy, Brian was full of explanations today.

Great chapter.

Author's Response:

Thank you!!  And yeah, Michael is just about ready to move forward and finally let go of his image of Brian.  That will probably help their relationship a bit.

Reviewer: BrianNJustin (Signed) · Date: August 09, 2013 04:39 PM · On: The Donor.

Wow never see that coming, I thought it would have been Michael donating to ease his guilt.

Author's Response:

Well Michael couldn't have donated for the same reason Brian couldn't.  In the US gay men aren't allowed to give blood or donate organs.  But I hope you liked who did it anyways.  Thanks!

Reviewer: linda (Anonymous) · Date: August 09, 2013 05:33 AM · On: Later.

wonder if we find out who this donor is or even if we are supposed to know. makes for an interesting supposition. we will wait to see if that person is identified and if we are surprised at who it is. good chapter!

Curiouser and curiouser.....if not Mikey, and no viable explanation then why all of a sudden out of the blue? As for the anonymous donor, could it be Craig actually honing a conscience and wanting to do the right thing by his son?

Author's Response:

Well I researched a lot about acute liver failure and I read that a significant percent had no known cause.  Which sucks for Justin, but that's the way it goes sometimes.  And maybe....  :)

Reviewer: 7wildwaysup (Signed) · Date: August 09, 2013 03:51 AM · On: Later.

Okay... But what was all that talk Michael did, when he purchased the Tylenol??? It doesn't make sense... ~ Kathleen

Author's Response:

Well what we saw was him just thinking about buying it...He didn't actually buy it because he talked himself out of it.  Thanks!

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: August 08, 2013 11:50 PM · On: Later.

And I was so sure that Michael had doctored Justin's pills. It would have explained things so well.  I'm dying to find out who the mystery donor is!!  You know I think that if Brian had told Ted why he needed to sell Babylon, Ted would have made sure he got top dollar.  Only two moer chapters left? : (

Author's Response:

Oh Ted will get top dollar anyways, he is pretty handy with money.  Lol, And the donor will be revealed, promise!!  Thank you!

Sabotaged - Apt title.  First Justin has no insurance, then Craig shows up refusing to let Molly donate part of her kidney.  At least Brian is willing to do what he can for Justin.  Great chapter.  Lots of angst.

Author's Response:

Thanks so much!  Hopefully things will turn around for Justin, right?  Lol

Reviewer: sophie'smom (Anonymous) · Date: August 08, 2013 07:39 PM · On: Later.

Took Michael off the hook did you. Nice of you.
Loved Brian's declaration of his inner most secreted feelings.
Anonymous donor? Probably one who was shamed into realizing what a waste his life had become? One who was missing out on things?

Nice

Author's Response:

Well the donor is definitely worries of missing out...but we'll get to that, promise!  I'm glad you liked that scene and Michael isn't COMPLETELY off the hook.  Thank you!

Reviewer: nicolle_midnight2013 (Signed) · Date: August 08, 2013 06:46 PM · On: Later.

I liked seeing that Michael was not blamed for the Justin. I do not like him very much, but I always see as a person child, spoiled and unrealistic, moreover, I am devastated to imagine how an act so cruel, coming from Michael, Brian can affect.

I thought how wonderful Brian opened his heart and exposed her feelings for Justin. It was beautiful!

Do we know who the anonymous donor?

Waiting anxiously for more.

A big hug!

Fatima.

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked Brian's emotional scene.  I liked writing it a little too much!  Lol and you will find out who the donor is, just not this chapter.  Thank you so much for all your reviews!!  <3

i liked reading your story. I still rather have Michael out of the picture. Brian needs happiness and not a interruptingf family.  I liked that Jennifer is

more open with Brian.  Brian needs them more then those annoying people he calls his adopted family, Michael and the rest.  Still put some guilt on Michael.  He was a turn off to

me in the series.

Well Brian and Michael are eventually going to have a long chat about everything and Brian is going to kind of remind Michael of his place in his life.  Thanks for the review!!

No thank you . That was very informative. Is there no services that can help pay for a transplant, wouldn't it be better to throw a benefit at Babylon first ,then sale. We had a benefit to raise money for my uncle's transplant. will we find out what caused the liver failure? please

Author's Response:

It probably would have been, and with the history of the show a benefit would be fitting, but Brian was way too distracted.  He was just thinking of getting the most money in the least amount of time.  And the cause of the liver failure will be revealed.  :)

Reviewer: nicolle_midnight2013 (Signed) · Date: August 07, 2013 02:05 AM · On: Sabotaged.

I would like to congratulate you acescentar for making Brian has trouble getting the money for the operation. He is always touted as very rich and smooth with money in most fics and put it as not so rich so it is very interesting.
Incidentally, the two situations (Brian is not filthy rich and Justin have not been successful in New York so easily), are very well thought out. Congratulations!
I wish you eslarecesse me two questions: Babylon maoir not have a value in the market? If it was in Brazil, the value would be much higher.
What about surgery, in Brazil there is a health system that caters to people who can not pay, this possibility does not exist in the U.S. in extreme cases such as this?
Thanks for this great story.Fatima.

Author's Response:

Thanks so much, I'm glad you like those two little points I tried to make.  I always thought of Brian as rather well off, but not filthy rich myself.

And Babylon does have value, but things are only worth as much as a person is willing to pay.  I'll put a note at the end of the next chapter explaining my reasoning of Babylon's value, because I did investigate a reasonable price for it, and why I don't think it's worth enough to pay for Justin's surgery.

Also, that is somewhat true in the US as well, as far as I know.  They are not going to send a dying man back onto the streets, but...it's complicated from my understanding.  I'm not a US native myself and luckily I've had little need of the health system here, but from what I understand his care would decrease, and he would probably be moved back down on the wait list.  That is why Brian is so determined to get all of the money at once, he doesn't want to give the hospital an excuse to give Justin less care.

Thanks so much for your review!!!

Reviewer: nicolle_midnight2013 (Signed) · Date: August 07, 2013 01:46 AM · On: Sabotaged.

It is no surprise Craig act like the idiot he always was. A lawsuit would not solve the problem? Here in Brazil, this would be the solution to the situation.
Other people could be tested, such as: Debbie, Daphne and even Cynthia. Mel and Lindsay may also be a possibility to be because the restriction donor, at least in Brazil, to male homosexuals.
I am very curious to know how the liver Justin collapsed so quickly and if there is some involvement of Michael in this situation.
Great chapter!
Forgive me for any mistakes, I use Google translator to write.
A big hug!Fatima.

Author's Response:

A lawsuit could help, depending on what a judge ruled, but those things take time.  And the others will be tested, because the same is true in the US, only male homosexuals are restricted to donate.

And that's what acute liver failure is, the liver fails quickly, sometimes in a matter of days, unlike regular liver failure, when it takes years.  There are a lot of different causes.

And no problem!!  <3

Craig and Michael should form a club, "Shit's R Us". I thought Brian was going to do him physical harm.
Jennifer better put up a big fight to allow Molly to go through with the transplant.
The guys are getting to the end of their ropes. Brian shouldn't have to be worrying about where the money for the operation is coming from and concentrate on themselves.
Great updates.

Author's Response:

Well Brian is definitely going to focus on Justin, so much so that he's going to miss quick a few big things.  Thanks so much for the review!!  <3

Reviewer: Valetta (Anonymous) · Date: August 06, 2013 03:10 PM · On: Sabotaged.

Very good chapter, I really hate Craig!

But I think that from a legal point of view something cood be done in this kind of situation. Molly wants to do it but she is underage, her mother agree but her father not, I think a judge could be addressed in this case and he could decide in favour of Justin.

Author's Response:

A judge could be consulted, and that'll be talked about in later chapters.  But those things take time, and Justin needs a liver now.  Lol

Thanks for the review!!

Reviewer: JAZZEPOET (Signed) · Date: August 06, 2013 02:27 PM · On: Sabotaged.

No surprise here....but why would Jennifer tell him in the first place knowing how he feels about Justin. Okay so that was a rhetorical question lol...but Jennifer is Molly's parent as well, wouldn't her consent be enough?

Author's Response:

Jennifer wouldn't have to tell him.  The people I asked who had divorced parents said that they couldn't do much of anything without permission from both.  Not even school trips.  One friend of mine couldn't leave the country without permission from both parents.  Since she's a minor, she'd need permission from both Jennifer and Craig, regardless of if she's 15, or 5.  As much as it sucks, Craig is still her father and has a right to forbid his consent.  It wouldn't really be fair if Craig wanted Molly to do something Jennifer didn't want her to do and didn't need to get her permission.  It's frustrating, but it's the way it is.  At least from the people I talked to.  There can be court injunctions, but those take time.  Thanks!!!  <3

Reviewer: wellreadbunny (Signed) · Date: August 06, 2013 02:12 PM · On: Sabotaged.

I would think Babylon would be worth millions.

Author's Response:

Well, I judged Babylon's value on two things.  First, Brian afforded buying it after Kinnetik had only been open for a few months.  Since Babylon wasn't at it's prime when he did so I decided to be generous and say it was worth 100 grand (Since Ted had said he had a large chunk of money to buy something fun with).  Second, I looked up a lot of local nightclubs and what their market values were and they ranged from about 30 grand (pathetic right?) to a million.  Now I live in a pretty wealthy place for the US and so I figured I would pick something in the middle.  I decided to go with about 400 grand, making Brian get a 300 grand profit in a place he's only owned for five or six years.  That was my effort and logic behind it anyways.  Also, I wanted him to get rid of both the loft and Babylon as kind of a symbol of moving forward, rather than holding onto the past, not that they were holding him back, just that he's starting a new life and doesn't need those old places.  Thanks for reviewing!!  I'm sure you didn't expect all of that but...There you go Lol.

Can someone PLEASE take Craig out!!

I'm glad to see that Brian is considering that Michael is behind this.  Perhaps he should wait to confront Mikey until after the pills are tested?  Have a wonderful wedding/honeymoon!!!  Don't know how you can work on this story when you have that to look forward to, but I'm glad you did.

Author's Response:

Well luckily I have all of this written, I'm just doing final editing before I post it, so it doesn't take long.  And since most everything is finished for the wedding I don't need to spend a lot of time on that either. :)  And thanks!!

And well, Brian is in his 'Protect Justin' mode so he's going to act first and seek proof later.  Thanks for the review!!

Hello, Icedcupcake!

Firstly, congratulations on your marriage. I want to wish you much happiness and a wonderful honeymoon.

I thought well you determine hepatic failure as the cause of health problems for Justin. And as I was assuming he really was being poisoned by taking tylenol without your knowledge.

My only question is how Michael came to Justin before his return to Pittsburgh? Justin was already ill before Michael caught your medications at the pharmacy, then how Michal misrepresented their remedies before?

I'm looking forward for the next updates.

A big hug!
Be very happy!
Fatima.

PS: Sorry no mistake, I am Brazilian and I use the Google translator to write.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, I'm so excited I can barely sleep at night!

Everything is going to be explained, I promsise.  :)  Michael's actions included.

Thanks so much for your review!  <3

Hello, Icedcupcake!

I was believing that Justin was being poisoned somehow.

     But, by Michael?

I do not really like Michael. Anyone who has read something of mine can tell that, even though I usually give a vote of confidence for him because of the pain it would cause to Brian. But Justin hurt this way?

I can not see Michael as a murderer. For me, it is childish and has an obsession for a very large Brian has existed only in his head since Justin entered the life of Brian.

I hope that is not a death fic.

I'm enjoying the story and waiting for more.

     A big hug!

     Fatima.

Author's Response:

Well Michael has some pretty interesting things going on in his head this whole time, and we'll get a chance to look at that soon enough.  Thank you for the review and, no, this isn't a death fic.  :)  <3

Yay, very much looking forward to quick updates this week!  This story is fantastic.  I am confused about one thing though - Justin's liver is failing because Michael tampered with his meds.  But Justin was sick long before that happened?

Author's Response:

Everything is going to get explained, that included.  I'm so glad you like it!  Thanks for letting me know!!  <3

Reviewer: sophie'smom (Anonymous) · Date: August 03, 2013 08:29 PM · On: The Answer.

Great update.
Did Michael really think it wouldn't come back to bite him in the ass? Attempted murder? Hope they press charges.
Now it's time to find a donor. Why do I get the feeling it will be Craig and he'll refuse?

Author's Response:

Well Craig is definitely going to get involved...

As for Michael, he'll get everything he deserves in the end.  :)

Thanks for the review!!

Interesting chapter but I was wondering if Justin was poisoning himself. Please enjoy your honeymoon and update as soon as possible.

Author's Response:

Thank you!!

And updates will come a lot this week, there aren't many chapter left but I want it finished by friday.  And well, Justin was a little upset about New York, but he wasn't behind everything that happened to him.

Woot Woot......congratulations sweetie, I wish you all the happiness your heart and hand can hold :)

It seems as if Mikey was able to get to Justin and hurt him after all. Brian better damn well stomp a mudhole in his ass and walk it dry for trying to kill our Sunshine. No amount of apologizing can make up for this.

Author's Response:

Thank you!!  :)

I've never heard a turn of phrase like that before Lol!  Brian isn't going to be happy when he talks to Mikey...But we'll just have to see what happens.  Thanks for the review!

Reviewer: wellreadbunny (Signed) · Date: August 03, 2013 05:45 PM · On: The Answer.

Has Michael been tampering with Justin's med all along , or was his liver already failing? I know some medications can really screw up your liver ,personal experience, and alcohol of course. Congrats on your wedding.

Author's Response:

First of all, thank you!  And second of all, thats a very good question, isn't it?  Michael has definitely had chances to mess with Justin's meds.  Thanks for reviewing!!!

Reviewer: bksbracelet (Signed) · Date: August 03, 2013 05:03 PM · On: The Answer.

oh no a liver transplant that is going to be a tall order. Michael is unbelievable attempted murder no matter how you try to spin it

Author's Response:

Indeed, it is.  But I think Brian and Justin will figure a way through it.  Thanks for reviewing!!

Reviewer: NoChaser (Signed) · Date: August 03, 2013 02:29 PM · On: The Answer.

First of all, happy wedding!! And happier honeymoon!!

I'm glad we know what's wrong with Justin. And I certainly hope that Brian doesn't do his regular 'giving Mikey one more chance' o 'one day maybe I'll forgive him' routines if he was indeed the culprit. (Which I'm inclined to believe he is).

Good job on the research, and looking forward to updates.

Roni

Author's Response:

Thanks for the wishes!!  And yeah, it's a relief that he wait to know is finally over, right?  And Brian will behave very aggresively to Michael, he's all in protective mode for Justin right now so anyone who gets in his way is due for his wrath.  XD  Thanks for reviewing!!

Great job with all the biology clues - anemia, nose bleeds, fatigue, jaundice, depression. I should have got it earlier since I just graduated with a microbiology degree - no wonder I'm still unemployed if I couldn't even disgnose this one. LOL! I got the anemia, but didn't have a clue about the cause. I'd forgotten the whole tie-in with acetaminophen and liver failure. But, I don't get how Michael got him the Tylenol early on - before the time he picked up the meds? I'm sure you'll get to that explanation soon. Excellent reasearch! TAG

Author's Response:

Thanks for the commendation lol.  I spent hours looking up symptoms and causes and...everything.  Lol I really wanted it to be realistic.  And I'm sure you'll be employed soon!!  And Michael has had ample oppurtunity to poison Justin, but all of that will be dealt with in time.  Thanks for your review!

Reviewer: NoChaser (Signed) · Date: August 01, 2013 12:30 AM · On: Familiar Spaces.

Iago. Michael has always been Iago in my opinion. I don't know if Michael is simply waxing selfish here or if he is at the bottom of Justin's issues. Either way, he ain't no friend to Brian.

I've never been a fan of Michael. Anyone who has read any of my stuff would quickly discern that. He had a few moments of canon clarity, simply to undo it all in the finale with his "you're Brian Kinney, for fuck's sake" speech.

I'm eagerly awaiting your next installment.

Roni

Author's Response:

Yeah I've never really liked Michael all that much either.  Of course, I like him him more than my writing implies and I don't think canon Mikey would ever even think of physically hurting Justin, but he is fun to write as someone to hate.  XD  Thanks os much for reviewing!!

No matter how much he might dislike Justin's role in Brian's life, I can't believe he would do this to his best friend.

No! Michael! No! Is my reaction. Michael can't seriously be considering it, right? Does he not know how much it'll devastate Brian?

Also, I'm not the biggest fan of jealous!Michael, especially when it's post-canon and all the original jealousies were dealt with. But it is fun reading it once in a while, when Michael is OOC, like he is here.

Britin is going to open Brian's eyes to how bad Justin really is.  :)  Thanks for reviewing!!

Reviewer: Predec2 (Signed) · Date: July 31, 2013 02:22 AM · On: The Second Sign.

Ugh, I admit I am getting more than a little impatient for an answer to his condition.  Why didn't Brian pursue the medication angle more? Although I still suspect Michael as the guilty party, even the pharmacist couldt have given him the wrong medication.  I'm surprised he didn't pursue that more.  Wish the resolution was coming sooner rather than later, but I guess that's one way to rope readers in.  Waiting (not so) patiently for an answer!

Author's Response:

Sorry your getting impatient, but the answer is coming soon.  And well Brian doesn't seen Justin all day, only for a few hours at night.  He has suspicions, but he doesn't see how bad Justin's condition really is.  But that'll change when they get to Britin.  So, when he saw that the medication shouldn't cause anything extreme he figured it didn't have anything to do with it.  He also is pretty determined that Justin is depressed.  I hope you give me a chance for a little bit longer.

Hi, found this story tonight and I love it for several reasons. One is that even though I think Justin's a really talented artist, it's kind of unrealisteic the way fics make him super successful in a few short years! so I like that your fic is realistic and potray a highly probable future for him. second big reason is the way you potray Brian's soft side and I'm a sucker for Hurt/comfort fics so bring it on :)..I could go on and on but let me shut up and leave you with "I can't wait to read more chapters" :)

Author's Response:

I think the same exact thing about Justin's success.  It's a hard world out there...So I thought this would be more realistic too!  :)  And yeah, hurt/comfort fics are my favorite so there will be copious amounts of that in here.  Thanks so much for letting me know what you think!  >3

Brian does have his sweet and tender moments.
Can tell already that Michael is out to cause trouble.

Author's Response:

Nope, he wasn't.  It was Brian's surprise to him so Justin didn't know about it.  And isn't Michael always out to cause trouble?  ;)  He sure doesn't like Justin much at least.  Thanks for the review!!

Intriguing story here - Justin's heart is definitely in it, but not his body.  I still say Michael is at fault here, but that could just be a red herring instead.  Four more chapters until we find out, though?  Ugh.  I do like Brian being so concerned and protective here, though.  Keep up the good work!  ~Kim

I'm guessing that either Justin has become narcoleptic (narcoleptic here!), or someone is messing with his meds... My natural Michael dislike is leaning in that direction, but then again, perhaps we can blame it on the pharmacist?

You're right in that it's been a long time, but Brian has been dilligent in his preparations for Justin's return.  Of course, it won't be a walk in the park, but love never is.

Michael is good for that, isn't he?  XD  It might get him into some trouble.

Thanks so much for the review!!  <3

Well, I'm ruling out PTSD, because I think Justin is quite happy to be back home with Brian, albeit perhaps just a bit disillusioned about his career.  I think, instead, that our crafty Mr. Novotny has somehow switched Justin's medications and that is why he's having a reaction afterward.;)  If he has, all I can say is he'd better be prepared for the ramifications from his so-called best friend if and when he finds out.

It kind of bothers me, though, that Brian has apparently seen fit to still give Michael carte blanche to come and go at his loft; I would have hoped that he would have instituted just a bit more security and either changed the locks or not given him a key in the first place.  Michael always did like to impose himself on Brian's privacy.  I would take that key away from good, old Mikey!

Thanks for the update.

Author's Response:

Well, of course I'm not going to reveal anything, but I think you'll be surprised when they figure out just what really is wrong with Justin; and if Michael is involved or not.  ;)  Feel free to keep on guessing though, it helps me know if I need to throw in a few red-herrings lol.

And ahhh, the key.  Yes, my logic was, since Brian was living alone, he saw no need to change anything...And thus far with Justin's return he's been otherwise preoccupied.  But that may come to bite him in the butt.  We'll just have to see.

Thanks so much for reviewing.  It means a lot!

I'm so glad!  I'll update as often as I can, should be a new chapter about every two days.  I have a lot written already, but I don't want to post it all at once, you know?
