Midnight Whispers
QAF Brian and Justin Fanfiction

I can so see Kinnetic having its own plane.  I can also see Brian insisting it be a jet and sexy sleek.  I've always loved how successful these two just seem destined to be.

I'm probably one of the minority who think Justin going to NY was a good thing.  I just felt they needed a major shift in their relationship, of Justin becoming independant and, well, grown up.  And Brian needed to really feel how it would be like without Justin being around anytime he wanted to see him.

I do totally believe that they would end up together in that amazing house. They kinda grew up together.  Both of them overcoming really stupid behaviours and decisions and the opinions of others.  I rather think of them as having the kind of relationship highschool sweethearts who marry and are together for the next 50 years.

Great little story showing a peek at the time of separation and ever growing appreciaiton of what they have together.

Author's Response:

Hi, Michelle - I really liked your thoughtful comments  about this one-fic.  And I agree; maybe it's because I'm such a romantic with these guys, but I like to think so, too.;)  Thank you for reading this one, and for your feedback.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I seem to be one of the few fans who thought the ending of the show was a great idea. I don't usually read much post 5x13, but I thought this was a authentic look at what might have happened next in their world. I think you succeeded at keeping the original Brian Kinney, but adding someone more well-rounded and willing to accept his love for Justin. Great stuff.

Author's Response:

Hi, there! My apologies; somehow I never saw this review, or received notification of it. I just wanted to thank you for reading, and for the comments.  I'm glad you took a chance on this post-513 story, and enjoyed it. Thank you again.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I'm not sure if I missed this one or whether it is new.  I laughed when I saw it is a Valentine's Day fic.  You must really like this day as you have written a fic for it every year since you joined the site.  You and Moonshadow Woman must be the resident romantics of MW.  I like the gift.  "You bought a fucking plane?" Brian's mind went exactly where mine did. LOL

Thanks for all you did to assist Bob with getting MW back up and running.

Cheers

Author's Response:

Hi, Flossee - thank you for reading this one, and for the comments; I really do appreciate that.  And yes, actually, it IS new.;)  I really wasn't going to post a Valentine's Day one-fic this year, but after seeing the Beatles tribute when they sang "Yellow Submarine," I thought that had Justin written all over it, so I couldn't resist.;)  And you're right - I never can seem to resist writing about the boys for Valentine's Day.;)

And thank you, too, for the last part.  Bob and the software tech did most of the work, but I tried to help out as best I could behind the scenes.  I'm just sorry we all had to lose so many reviews (that hurts, doesn't it?), but I'm very optimistic now with the new host that we are in a much more secure place now, and events like this will not happen in the future. And it was very heartening to see how beloved this site is, so one good thing did come out of it.  Thanks again.  ~Kim

YIPPEE!!!!!!!! Back, finally. Damn Russian spam. I must admit I read this on your other site. I couldn't review there as I don't have any of the windows you need to do so--no facebook or others. I think facebook is a little out there, just my take on it. I have been reading B/J stories on another site as I needed something of the boys to read. There were some pretty good stories there--old, but rather interesting. I am so glad MW is back. We are all good-working hard as usual. BB would like to move again-maybe to Hawaii or somewhere like that--we will see. I think he is a tad bored and in a rut. I guess we are all in a rut here. It must be our age--Ha! lol

Author's Response:

Hi, lindc! So good to see that you have hung in there with us until we could get the site back online.  I do feel it's much stronger now with the new host.  Hurts to have lost so many reviews on the stories (I lost over 40 alone on Parent Trap - sigh...), but there was no way to save them, unfortunately.  Once all the stories are reposted things will be much smoother now, though, which is good.

Please give everyone there my best.  Thanks for the commenta and for reading!  Hope you enjoyed this one.;)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Brian and Justin, Valentines, and the Beatles, not to mention a private plane.  They just seem to go together.

Author's Response:

Thank you, my friend.  So good to have the site back up, and to see your comments.;) Thank you for reading and for the feedback - and the steady support.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Well I know nothing about the Beatles to be honest, but that certainly didn't take away from my enjoyment of this little story. I liked how you set the time frame to be post season five, and yet I didn't read that right off the bat. First I was reading about thier present location in the hotel room and getting a sense for where their relationship was at, before it was revealed that they were having one of their rare Pittsburgh to NY visits.

That said, I enjoyed the sweet and sentimental, and also hopeful tone throughout the story. The familiarity between them as they made love was beautiful, and I must point out that I love the idea of Brian owning his own personal plane! Nice Valentine's fic.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Sarah! I'm glad that you enjoyed it. So great to be able to post on here again, but sorry you had to lose so many reviews.:(  I know the feeling; I lost about 40 of them for "Parent Trap."  Ugh.  And was *so* close to my (probably) one and only 600-review story.  Alas, probably not to be now, but I AM grateful to have the site back up.  Hopefully readers will replenish your review count on your own wonderfully unique story.  Thanks for reading and for the comments! I really appreciate that.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hi Kim,

OMG, so glad MW is back! I even did a little happy dance this morning ( the dog thought I had lost my marbles though, haha).

I really liked this, and the back and forth banter between B/J was pretty cute. ~ Hugs, Janet

Author's Response:

Hi, Janet, my friend! I know what you mean. I think the best thing to come out of this is knowing how beloved this site really is.  Great to have everyone's support; thanks to that, we now have a much more secure site and a much better host server. Thank you for reading, and for the comments.;)  As always, I am very grateful for the encouragement.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Thrilled to see Midnight Whispers back online.  Wonderful story as always.  No one can write a happy, sappy (in a good way) QAF story like you!

Author's Response:

Thank you, Bill; I'm thrilled it's back up, too. Now we all have to pay catch up a little, but well worth it to be back online and with a much secure site now. Thank you for reading, and for the comments, my friend.  *Hugs* ~Kim
