What a well written look at Todd.  It would have been nice if this had been explored during the show.
Author's Response: I agree with you, my friend! I see Todd as a character that could be used for many situations on the show because he should know the inside story of Babylon much better than Brian.
A big hug, my friend! Fatima.

Hi my friend! I love this, and I love to see Brian and Justin's relationship throught Ted's eyes. This was very moving! Thank you my friend
Author's Response: Thank you, my dear Emilie for your comment. This was a very difficult story to write because there was much anguish, since I see Todd as a tragic figure.
I wanted to show the relationship between Brian and Justin from someone who did not have a close relationship to them and Todd was the perfect choice. I am very glad you liked that moment in history.
A big hug, my friend! Fatima.

Love your vision of Todd, Fatima! I want to thank you for taking on my challenge. Hopefully we get more people to participate for May since we were the only two who took it on haha. But I like that we took different approaches to the challenge yet both saw Todd as a man with a very troubled past. Thanks again for writing this!
  Author's Response:
Thank you, my friend by commenting my story. I also hope that more authors accept the new challenge May and write a great story about our beloved Theodore "Ted" Schmidt. I thought Todd as a tragic person when I started writing this story about him. I was glad that you also imagined a troubled past for him as I do. We had ideas for our very different stories, but at the same time complementary. Is for this reason that I love challenges.
A big hug, my friend! Fatima.

Thank you for taking up the Todd challenge. It's a brilliant idea and you did a great job.
I was struck by the scene in the waiting room between Todd, Michael and Brian.  It was like two secret identities were being revealed;  Todd's life as an ER doc with the ultimate control over live and death and Brian's caring, vulnerable side.  Todd is active and Brian is passive in this moment which flips the usual scene at Babylon.
Todd and Brian use sex and drugs as a pain management/stress reliever and both vowed never to let love touch them. I wonder if they feel a sense of kinship in this and that is why Brian asked Todd to help with Mickey and Justin's topping techniques. Ehh, maybe not, Brian may just be acknowledging Todd's status as the ultimate bottom. Neverthless, Brian must trust him.
I also wonder if Todd would have helped Justin during his recovery as he went through the same thing.  Something tells me he would not have been very active in it as the pain Todd carries is too great.
Good story,
Deb

  Author's Response: Hey, Deb!
Wow! Much and thank you for your wonderful review.
You could perfectly understand what I wanted to go with the story.
I wanted to show Brian and Todd as opposite sides of the same currency while with many points in common.
I also really like the waiting room of the scene. That's when Todd makes the shadows behind the scenes.
I think Brian relies on his skills as bottom and why asks him to help Michael and Justin.
I can not see Todd helping Justin in his recovery. Todd needs as much help as Justin and could not be useful in Justin's recovery, especially when there is a lot of similarity in the violence that both suffered.
Again, thank you for your comment.
A big hug, Fatima.

I loved this story. Cried a lot. Very well written.
  Author's Response: Hi, Lorie!
Thank you for your comment. I apologize for the tears. I did not expect the story was so sad when I started to write it, but unfortunately, there is much hatred in the world and people are often very cruel.
I'm glad that despite the tears, you liked the story and let your comment. This is very important to me. Thank you!

A hauntingly beautiful story that shows great sorrow and pain.
Beautifully written!
It had me in tears.
So sad there is still so much hate in the world.
XOXO

  Author's Response: Hi, Soirsa!
I apologize for the tears. I'm very glad you enjoyed my story. I also cried at times to write it.
People are often cruel and capable of hurting others in many ways.
I know that history has a lot of anguish, but he is both very realista.Inicialmente time, I do not want it that way, but I'm happy with the final outcome of the story.
A big hug, my dear. Thank you for reading and commenting on my stories. This is very important to me.
XOXO

 Good, compelling story.
Too bad there is still so much hate in the world.
Author's Response: Thank you for your comment. I'm very glad you enjoyed my story.
She was sadder than I expected, but I think it was very realistic, too.
It is really unfortunate as there is so much hatred in the world and how people are capable of doing so much harm to others.
A big hug and thank you for commenting on my stories. This is very important to me.

9,100 words? Ack! No wonder I'm so tired - LOL!  This was a very unique story idea, my friend. Very bittersweet, but well done. *Hugs* ~Kim
  Author's Response: Hello, Kim!
I also can not believe that I could write three stories totaling nearly 30,000 words in less than twenty days. Wow!
I'm sorry to be the cause of your cansaço.Lol.
Thank you, my friend for your comment. When I took the rabbit and challenge of Annie I really did not expect the story to take this course. But I'm really happy with it.
Thanks again for your help with this story, my friend. It would not be posted here if not for you.
A big hug, my dear!

Beautiful, but such a sad story, except that hot threesome.
Thanks.
* hugs *
  Author's Response: Hello, Marian!
Thank you for your comment, my dear!
I really did not expect this story to be so sad when I started writing it.
As for the hot threesome ... Well, Brian and Justin involved, any threesome can be very hot.
A big hug, my dear! Fatima.
