Kathleen, I don't know what to say except that even as my heart broke reading this, you restored it by letting them be together in the end. I think it would have killed me if one of them had been left behind to live alone and ultimately die alone. I hope Ethan FRIED- effing bastard that he is! I'm glad Craig got his comeuppance. And I'm glad that Daphne has a little bit of Brian and Justin left with her in the form of Brianna and Justine. Most of all, I'm glad that Brian knew REAL love with Justin and REAL friendship with Daphne and Ted. It was definitely an emotional read and you've a SPLENDID job!!

why Daphne did that? I was really annoyed when she did it on the serie with Justin, it was totally out of place. I hope that that episode was the last straw for Brian to make a decision and go for Justin. Waiting gor the final episode, and excited about it

You have not broken my heart my friend, you have completely shattered it. This particular turn of events has me completely floored. Craig's a horror show all on his own. Of course, Jack & Joan were nightmare quality.
So good to see the start of their love story for this incarnation of Brian and Justin.
That mansion is situated in my town and I've dirven and walked past it a number of times. I missed out on my one opportunity to tour the place. Access is rarely granted to this privately-owned good ol' boys club. I'm sure Brian and Justin could convert some of them. ;)

I love that you know this mansion house, it was the only house I could find that matched almost exactly to my haunted house pic... Do they still have good ol' boys clubs these day? I love the way it's just B & J with no 'family' interference. Oh, I know there'll be a problem coming up with D & A's constant fight over Pittsburgh but still, it's nice to see their romance flourish like this.
I swear, Craig is a shepard for the devil!! I just want to punch him in the throat with a fist drenched in Holy Water. I really can't wait for him to get his comeuppance!

Wonderful! You're treating your readers to a Halloween miniseries, Brian and Justin style. I know that mansion, which suits itself to its role in this story (even if, sadly, it's not on an island). Good job with the photo selection for Brian in 1900. I'm looking forward to Justin's appearance, I presume tomorrow.
