This was a great story!!  I think it was very sweet of Brian to get Patches, not just for Justin, but for himself as well.   She turned out to be perfect for the both of them.

Beautiful fic! I love fics that end with Brian and Justin together.  Mikey was never a favorite of mine.  I never understood their adult life riendship and Mikey's "I'm his best friend".

I always want Brian and Justin to be together. And I was never a fan of Michael, he was too whiney and clingy.

Thank you Char. I always loved Emmett, he was always a good friend to the boys. Michael and Lindsay had their own reasons for being mean and sneaky. I wanted Brian to see the truth about them. Patches is a beautiful cat.

Started off so heartbroken. As an outsider, I hated that Jenn would do this, treat Brian in such a way. But..........as a parent, I have to say, I'd be in super protective mode myselg. Nothing to do with the gay thing, but if your child gets hurt, pretty much game over for anything that may hurt him/her in any way shape or form.

I was happy to see that she came to the realization that Brian is exactly what Justin needed, and made the effort for them to be together.

The way B&J are able to relate when it's just them is lovely. Something shared between them. It was wonderful.adn really hot!! :)

Micheal, Michael Micheal. Will he ever learn. Terrific how Brian (and everyone else) tried to put him in his place. Not sure if he's going to catch on or not. Highly doubtful. he may need a few mor lessons. (possible 2nd chapter...??  :)  )

Well done. enjoyed this immensley.

I like that even though Brian had such horrible examples as parents,

he is still able to see things from Jen's perspective as a parent. I love

how they are when they're alone too. Michael is a jealous ass and

always will be. Hadn't thought of adding to this. I'll think about it.

hey Lorie - this story is so heartwarming...and hot at the same time!

Reading it again from start to finish - I love the feel of it - and the 'only for my man' persona that Brian reveals only to Justin just takes me over the top! Oh that we could all have someone that loves us like that!

the passion and tenderness these two show for each other is what makes me a die-hard B/J junkie - and you wrote it beautifully
