Midnight Whispers
QAF Brian and Justin Fanfiction

Aw, what a nice little chapter to go with the main story!!!    And poor Mr. Maier.    What happened to his wife and daughters was terrible, but it sure turned into a life lesson for Brian though, and he realized what was really important - his family!!

Hi, Kim! I can’t tell you how ecstatic I was to see a new story from you, and not just new – a short continuation of the Parent Trap! I miss that story so much, I was waiting eagerly for the opportunity to re-read it, and now I have even more to read with this brilliant story, part of the universe I love so much.

The disagreement between Brian and Justin was bitter yet realistic – I guess a lot of couples fight because of work issues. Katie and Kaylee’s worries are completely understandable, considering what they had to go through pretty much recently.

Daphne is amazing as always, I love how she matured with the years and she is still Justin’s rock.

The reunion was wonderful and so very sweet! Brian is lucky he had a conversation with Maier, it was a meaningful meeting.

Thank you, Kim, I loved this story – it has a great Christmas spirit in it.

Author's Response:

Thank you as always for the support, Katrin.;)  I loved creating the characters of Kaylee and Katie, and how their bond slowly grew so that they could conspire to bring their fathers together, and I wanted to show how they were still doing that in this one-shot.  I'm so glad you enjoyed it!  Thank you for the support, my friend.  ~Kim

Hey girl, hope you had a Happy New Yearnand didn't get too toasted. We all had a good time. Had a party at Lee's new abode. There were 15 of us there. Didn't get too messed up, but a few did. Really funny to watch the goings on. Just got through reading your new story. It was so good and different from what you usually write. I must say i really enjoyed a different Brian and how you worked it so people met and discovered each other. Pretty damn slick==but then again that is your expertise in the writing game. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  I'm afraid I was pretty boring on New Year' Eve, so no worry about being 'too celebratory.'  Besides, kind of hard to do that with alcohol when you're already on an anti-depressant.;)

I'm glad that you enjoyed the new story. I can't begin posting it on here until Jan. 6, but hopefully the other readers who haven't read it will enjoy it. It's certainly a different type of Brian from what is usually written, but hopefully he still stayed IC.

I hope that you, Lee, Brian, and the others have a wonderful, happy, and healthy New Year.  Your continuing support and encouragement mean the world to me. Thank you.  Please tell everyone I send my best wishes and my love. *Hugs*  ~Kim

Aww that was so sweet Kim and such a pleasant surprise to find on here. I never expected any more stories in your Parent Trap 'verse but I'm so very happy you wrote this. Parent Trap is one of my most favorite of all your stories and now I'm inspired to go reread it! Thanks for that my friend and the big silly grin that is on my face!

I hope you had a lovely Christmas and that your New Year will be blessed!

Well done!

:)

Author's Response:

Hi, Susan! I am always so happy to hear from you.  :)  I hope you had a wonderful Christmas as well.;)  Anytime someone wants to reread one of my stories, I consider that a big compliment; thank you.;)  I will have a new story posted soon for a fan fiction exchange for Christmas.  I hope you enjoy it. Now it's back to my WIPS.  I hope you have a wonderful new year.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hi Kim  :  ) What a sweet story, I loved it, and I also liked your Glen a whole lot better than mine, haha. At the beginning though, I really wanted to smack Brian up-side the head with something, but the ending made up for it ;  ) Oh, the part where you described the snow storm on Christmas Eve morning, where Kaylee is looking out the window, I could actually SEE that in my mind, just a few words and got a perfect description ;  ) *Hugs* Janet

Author's Response:

Hi, Janet!  Ha - i had forgotten about your skunk Glen! Yeah, this one was much better.;)  So glad you liked it.  I wish a happy and healthy 2016 for you, my friend. I hope one day we can actually meet.  Thank you for all the support, and for just being there for me when I need it. *Hugs*  ~Kim

Lovely Story. I always enjoy updates on how Brian and Justin are going for any of your stories. This one with the girls is perfect for Christmas. It's sad about the client's family but a good eye opener for Brian on what's important. Glad the storm wasn't able to keep them apart.

Author's Response:

Hi, Monica!  I'm so happy you enjoyed this little one-shot in the Parent Trap 'verse.;:)  I wouldn't mind revisiting them from time to time, but right now I have to finish up my two WIPs.  I DO have a multi-chaptered story that is actually complete right now that I can post soon (I have to wait about a week after it's posted somewhere else for a fan fiction gift exchange).  I hope you enjoy that one. :)

Thank you for reading this story, and for all your support. I hope you have a wonderful 2016, and continue to enjoy my stories.  ~Kim

It's always good to see how this family is fairing.  I was worried for a moment that something might happen with the plane.  Glad to see nothing did.  Hope your Christmas was wonderful and you have to do a one-shot on New Years!

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  You are always so supportive; thank you for reading, and for the feedback.  I am happy to say that I DO have a new story that will be posted around New Year's time; it's several chapters, in fact, but it's all done.  It's for a fan fiction exchange for Christmas, but we have to wait a week until we can post it in other places. But it will be posted on here as soon as I can. :)

Thank you for all your encouragement! That means the world to me.  I hope you have a wonderful New Year.  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Thank you, Chris!  You're very kind.  I will have to try and visit the Parent Trap 'verse more in the future.  I did enjoy writing about them again, and I'm sure I can get the two girls into more trouble somewhere along the way.;p) I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, my friend, and I wish you a great New Year.  ~Kim

Nice story on how you should be happy with what you have not always wanting more. You never know when things and people will be taken away for whatever reason. An update on the family would be nice every so often, as this was one of my favorite stories of yours. Hope you had a nice christmas and have a happy new year. We are all good here. BB is home again for the holidays. I think he misses all of us, although he wouldn't say so---who is that like. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, Lindc!  I am always so happy to hear from you.;)  I may take your suggestion at some point. If only I had more time in the day to write... I have so many ideas floating around in my head.;)  I DO have a completed, multi-chaptered story that will be posted soon for a fan fic exchange; I hope you and the other readers like it.  It features a different sort of Brian, while hopefully keeping him still in character.

Glad to hear that Brian is home at least for a while. And I'm sure you're right that he misses all of you; how could he not?  Tell everyone I send my love and best wishes to them for a happy and healthy New Year. And thanks again to you and the others for all the support.  ~Kim

Omg!! That was so great. Loved where you went with it. Broke my heart when Maier told brian the story about his family. That ending was so perfect. Oh, and using a little tidbit from the show with daphne and teaching the girls new words had me cracking up. Great job as always.

Author's Response:

Hi, my special friend.  What can I say to you that I haven't already said? Thank you for being my support and my eagle eyes when I need it, but mainly thank you for your friendship and for constantly having my back. And thanks for the plot point for this story.  Hope the coming year is a wonderful one for you.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Lovely story!  True meaning of the holidays is the same - Hanukah or Christmas or ... many other religions.  Being together is what matters.  My best to you and Gloria this holiday season.
