Mmh ... That would have been better than ignoring these story arche. AND I think after that there would have been no moving to make that Rage movie. I would't want to be left behind during revocering from cancer treatment. Bit unrealistic on show, I think. Or heartless, come to think of it. Thank you for sharing!
Author's Response: Hi Steff,
Your comment is very true. After going through cancer treatment together, it is hard to see the whole Rage thing, and syphillis/S5 stuff happening the way they did.
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!

I found this so emotional, but so on point... I can totally picture this being what happened.
I love the dynamic between Brian and Justin when Brian is scared and vulnerable and wants to be Mr. Cool, but Justin doesn't care about that :)
Author's Response: Hi there! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing this gapfiller thingy :)
It was hard to write; normally I don't go anywhere near the cancer arc, and trying to keep them IC, but this was a prompt, so I had to pull something out of the hat. Very happy that you liked it :)

Somehow in my busy life I missed this one. The mention of the blue ribbon made me go looking and I'm glad I did. This was beautifully written, heart felt and heart wrenching and very realistic in how both Brian and Justin would have reacted - much better than cannon.
Author's Response: Aaw, this is such a sweet thing to say! Thank you! I'm really glad that you liked this.

What a heartwarming gap-filler! <3 Wish this had really happened.
Author's Response: :)
I am so glad you liked it! I too wish they had shown more of Brian and Justin getting through the cancer together. Though, I would not have written this intensely about the cancer arc if I had not been prompted.

I know I already told you this on LJ, but this was very beautifully written, and so in sync with how I feel Brian would have acted in this situation. What a shame the writers did not extrapolate further on the cancer arc, and B and J's handling of it as partners. And Justin acts here just the way I would envision it. So well done. Thank you for writing this and for posting it on here. ~Kim
Author's Response: Hi Kim,
Thank you so very much for taking the time to comment twice! :D
I agree with you - I wish we had gotten a chance to see them really be partners, because, of course Justin would have looked after Brian. And that would have also helped reduce the nonsense that happened in S5.
And I always post on MW - it's my favourite site to wwrite for!

Sadly Brian can be such a pain, but in the end he showed he cared.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing!
Yes, our Brian knows the value of what he has got. :)

Very well written and realistic. Tears at the end, Brian can be so sweet.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for leaving a review! I'm really happy that you found it realistic. Brian is difficult (when is he not), but I feel he can do sweet gestures like this. Thanks again!
