Hello!

I don't even like coffee, but I wanted to drink some while reading this story lol. I love how you managed to convey so many emotions in this short story. It's beautifully done, thank you.

Hugs,

Sorcha.

The best story about coffee that I've ever read.

You have caught extremely well the uncertainty that seems so often to beset B&J's relationship. How most of the time Brian seems to have no interest in interacting with Justin, to the point of almost brushing him off - and finding more of interest  elsewhere. Leaving Justin worrying about where he stands. And then when least expected Brian says or does something to show that Justin does matter. But you can see why Justin went to Ethan.  A great description.Well done!

Brian took Justin for granted and he lost him, for a while. Not good signs when Justin started wanting someone 'not like Brian' Before meeting Ethan.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful, beautiful reveiw! You're absolutely right about the uncertainty - it was that very thing I tried to show. Actually, it all started with coffee :) I wanted to write a story with Justin being keen on making coffee, and then I thought it would be a good idea to differ his preferences from Brian's. Later, step by step, it developed into the whole story.

As for Ethan - yes, I completely agree with you. On the one hand, those moments were pretty hard to watch (at first I just couldn't believe Justin would really leave Brian). But on the other hand, this period was important for their relationship - they wouldn't be able to move on and be happy without it. Tragic yet true.

Thank you once again!
