The selfishness of Mel, Mikey and Deb almost spoiled Christmas. Only those pure of heart had a standing tree. Wish you would write how the day went because I think Emmett would make it a better day for Gus.

I know you and I are on the same page when it comes to some of Brian's so-called friends. The fact that they constantly refer to Brian as "selfish" is a classic example, IMO, of pots and kettles. Sometimes I just need to write about that. I like the "pure of heart" line. So true.

OMG! This was so wonderful! I loved the different "arguments" over the trees. All of them so in character too. I could so see all of this happening. Beautifully done!
