I have to admit that I’ve really come to dislike Tom and the relationship between him and Nate because Tom is trying to have his cake and eat it too as the saying goes. Tom is a Catholic priest and priests are supposed to be celibate regardless if they’re heterosexual or homosexual. If Tom wants to be the priest he committed to being when he took his vows he should not be having sex and if he wants to have sex he should leave the priesthood.
What’s also puzzling me is that pretty much everyone in the family who knows about the sexual relationship between Tom and Nate is okay with it.
When Father Kevin says “No, when I made my vows to the big guy I committed. I don’t hold it against any priest that has relationships. It’s not for everyone.� it may be supposed to come off as tolerant but to me it just comes off as wishy washy. Replace the words ‘big guy’ and ‘priest’ with ‘husband’ or ‘wife’ and see how it reads as if Kevin is okay with anyone in a committed relationship having extra marital affairs. Whether one has committed to God or a human spouse having extra marita relationships do matter and, unless the couple is in an open relationship, is not okay! Would Nate be having a sexual relationship with Tom if he was married to a human spouse? I would like to think that Nate would know better than to do that so it puzzles me that he’s okay with having a relationship with Tom who’s in a relationship that’s as sacred as marriage just not to a person. So even though I have a feeling that Tom and Nathan/Natalia will end up together, even if Tom leaves the priesthood/church, I’m just over this relationship.

You may want to quit reading my stories since you obviously don't enjoy them.  You have pointed out, very politely and with no disrespect to me, that you don't like most of what I write.  Maybe you need to find an author who writes more to your tastes.  I don't mean this to sound snippy.  I just don't know why you would read something you don't enjoy.  And if you do keep reading my work, I hope you find something you enjoy about it.

It's amazing how well Anna Claire took to meeting Kevin again.  Kevin seems to become friends with everyone he meets.  Brian is going to miss him.  In fact everyone who has met him will miss him.

It's amazing how you intertwine the new characters with the old.  I'm sure Ted will be there for Emmett but will Mikey?

Oh my.  They haven't told Tom about Natalia have they.

Tom and Nate are doing well together.

Wow Brian has a real father JustTom and Nate have broken up, Ronnie and Dante married and Yay Emmett is married. I am looking forward to the next chapter

You know how reach off the page and grab a persons heart don't you. I had so many awe moments reading this. I love how Brian was with Nate he knew what to say. Justin I think maybe get a bit broody and if they ever add to the family it will be blessed. Gus made me smile with his care for everyone and making that painting. I can't wait for their trip to Atlanta. 

The wedding was so perfect and the wedding blessings blew me away at how truly beautiful it was. As for the witches I'm sorry but even if Lindsey does move back I hope Gus never goes to live with her. He has a far more stable life with his dads. Em's dad was so nice and Kevin was fantastic. Man I'm in love with this story so much. 

Happy tears, so many happy tears. Brian meeting his dad was perfect and I could feel his heart beat for the first time for a parent and one that loves him for him. There was so many incredible moments in this and you hit every note perfectly. Kevin meeting Joan again and Brian saying what he wanted to was so powerful. I held my breath for every word they both said. Then Em omg even more happy tears. You got me emotional this morning. Fantastic work x

In the second chapter Nathan says that he is a transexual and that he hopes to transition soon. But after that chapter nothing else is mentioned about transitioning. Is Nathan planning to transition from male to female?

I do plan to but I don't like having too much going on at once.  After the wedding is over I will probably start working on that.  I have to admit, I better start some research.

 

Poor Justin those headaches are killing him. I love that Ronni is helping him deal with him. Brian worry's naturally and more help is definitely needed there. I think Tom and Nate are good for each other I think more than anything they could be best friends. Brian has such a huge heart and what he did for Ted and Cynthia was amazing. This was a fantastic chapter. 

Emmett came out well in this story.  A lover, knowing his mom cared, and family.

Awe Em I want to hug him so badly. He needs to feel loved and to know his mum does truly touched me. I like Nate already and I'm curious to know what happens next with him. Fantastic and emotional x

Seems to me that Emmett and Brian have more in common than they knew. Is Katie taking lessons from Claire? Glad Em got to see his mama and sit with her. James was right about times changing.

Don't know and can't imagine how Emmett's father is going to react with not only Em being there but also James, Brian, Justin invading the South. Let's hope he has changed too.

Love how you managed to get Emmett seeing his mother.  I'm sure she'll set the rest of her ungrateful children straight.  Good chapter.

This was a fantastic and emotional first chapter. My heart bleed for Em. His family needs to learn respect. Thank goodness for James and the boys. They truly know how to love and support each other. I felt everything they did. Brilliant work as always x
