Loved this chapter! And throwing the bouquet to Gus was very funny! Really enjoyed the bantering between B and J, as well as the adoption. Nick's character is so cute and sassy! Thank you for such an enjoyable read. Will miss reading more updates after the epilogue.
P.S. There is a song called "Dancing in the Sheets" from the Footloose soundtrack. It would have been perfect for their dance conversation - lol.

Beautiful story :) Maybe writing a sequel would be a good idea, to let us know what happened to the people who killed Ethan. They surely were messed up individuals who should be behind bars.

I loved this chapter and, honestly, I was expecting something like this because there were some hints in the previous chapters :) You wrote that Molly had a boyfriend working in the same field as Hobbs, and it seemed like she was reluctant about him meeting her family. I connected the dots :) While I really don't like Hobbs (and I'm sure nobody who visits this website does :D), I think it's an interesting twist and it shows people can change for the better. I also appreciate Justin's attitude here :)

Wow! I loved this chapter but I almost got scared when Brian wanted to leave the bathtub. Good thing he didn't :) :) I sooo love this story, it has an overall optimistic note. Justin can't plan a "secret" party, can he?

One thing I don't really get, Justin tells him that Ethan shoved him and Justin accidently fell into the knob and door jam and Brian is ready to bring Ethan back to the dead and kill him all over again. He pushes Justin down the stairs and he only minorally feels guilty?

Disappointed in Justin here, he didn't even tell Brian he was leaving. You can't just leave your kid and assume someone will take care of them. How can Brian watch him if he doesn't know he's watching him? Sure he said he has to go but I read that as back to the room until he left.

I'm really trying to like Brian here but it's been a week. I don't care if it's the worst relationship in the world, when one spouse dies the other one greives, and they have a greiving child. Brian is being really selfish here all about how different Justin is but is determinded to make him dependent on him again.

Everything was sweet in this chapter except Brian squeezing Justin arm where he knew the bruise was, it all felt very controlling and boarding on abusive. Justin hit Brian's leg at the diner but he had forgotten that it was hurt. Brian knew exactly what he was doing. Also while he's been nice to Nick about Ethan every time he discredits Justin's relationship with him it hurts Justin but he still doesn't stop. I hope he realizes what a jerk he's being.

As much as I love Brian he's being a huge hypocrite here. He did get physcial with Justin, the same time frame as Justin knocking him down. He physcially tossed Justin out of the loft. Not only that the things he has said to Justin over the years are mental and emotionally abusive. Not saying Justin is innocent in that part either, you were right a few chapters ago, they were very toxic. But Justin never made Brian feel like he was worthless and pathetic just to make himself feel better.

I hope Nick doesn't hear Brian talk about Ethan badly, it'd break his little heart. Brian needs to give Justin space. Not only did his husband just die but he was murdered. That adds a whole nother level of horribleness. If my math is right, and I hope it is, you seem to be basing this around SCOTUS verdict legalizing gay marriage in the states meaning Mel and Lindsay can come back and bring Gus.

I stop reading fanfictions when my own got too out of control. But I'm trying to start reading again. You're is the first I've read in a long time. I'm a few chapters in but I'll start with this one.
I'm surprised Justin went completely MIA to everyone except Daph. I can't wait to see what exactly was said during the Jennifer fight. Nick sounds so cute and I've never been a Ethan hater, just never liked him with Justin. But his death really made me sad. I hope we find out what happened to the people that murdered him.

First I love the story, I really do.
But I have my doubts if Brian and Justin should really be back together. I don't know. Brian has his faults but the way Justin acted right after their break up, don't know , especially with Ethan after all. Brian deserves to find his own love/husband and maybe have Justin as a good friend. Their opportunity passed and Justin fell immediately in Ethan's arms again. But that's my feeling now, maybe it changes throught the story? Maybe some things why will clear up? Looking forward to the next chapter 😉
