Great story. I see it was written some years ago and was TBC but no matter - it was a fitting place to stop even if it does not continue. I really like this Brian and Justin dynamic and I love it when Emmett gets to be the supportive friend:-)

I liked Em's audience with the two kings...lol  So very appropriate.  I'm also glad that the perception of J has changed in Libertyville for the better and that B's has stayed the same (he worked hard for the rep after all!). 

That they will continue to be monogamous is great.  The prospect of them doing it raw in the future is exciting, for all of us.  Well all except for Mikey.  If he were able to find out, I'm sure he'd think it were his business to make a comment.

I would have been disappointed with this as an ending if I hadn't read that there was a sequel.  Happy dance!

Great story, on to the sequel...

With all of the excitement about the new agency, I almost forgot about the bet.  It's been such a hardship on the two of them!

I'm glad Cynthia's on board.  What a great trio.

I laughed when I read about the Ted segment, because in the show it was so typically Brian to drag him out of his AA meeting, while he was sharing.  And that led to the memory of the opera singing waiter, how ... special?! lol.  B was always correct about what would make Ted, Em or Mikey happy, and he was right about Ted being an accountant.  I hope your story goes forward with Ted in that role, because he became a very good friend and confidant to Brian.  I loved how that adult friendship developed (so much better than the so-called friendship Mikey offered him).

And to end with a hot B/J session...perfect!

Heh, I'm glad you remembered the bet eventually :)

Cynthia is esential, she's the only perosn on the face of the planet who could ever work as Brian's assistent :D

Ted is such a good guy, he just lacks confidence in himself. Brian is a very intelligent man and he actually listens to his friends, even if he pretences not to.

B/J sex is always hot ;)

I liked the inclusion of the family in their celebration.  Michael is such a tiresome child.  Whatever is Ben (a college professor) supposed to see in him?

Hehe, I like that the gay community businesses rallied around the The Concerned Citizens.  It may have taken longer, but they would have been equally victimized by Stockwell (just as the clubs had been).

What a great idea, I like the thought of J & B going into business as equal partners.  We know that B could make it work alone, but with J's talent on board how could they lose?

I thought it was strange that they didn't let Deb and Lindsay contact some of the businesses on Liberty to get some money out of them.

The title does say it all.  On the show, that I recall, Michael only spoke to J like that when no one else was around.  I can't imagine that Deb, in particular, said nothing while he was verbally attacking Justin.  I'm glad that B shut him down, but something tells me that Mikey has learned nothing.

There is something about this chapter that i just absolutely love.  I keep wanted to read it over and over again.  I think it's how brian explained that there really is no chase any more. something about the way he decided that he would stop tricking if it meant that he can have justin all to himself. his posessiveness is hot and he thinks of a very smart way to keep them in check.  i can't wait for what's to come.

I freaking love this, I  dont think justin will have any problems, if he can go 6 months with just ethan, it will be a piece of cake to just be with studly brian lol, how will brian cope I am thinking justin will have a very sore butt lol I think brian will find it easier than he thinks once he gets over the shock, and the part about the difference between the way brian loves mikey and how he loves justin was fabulous
