wonderful. justin and his allergies. somethings never change.  so jr may have found her soul mate and may never see him again. i have a feeling he's working his way through college.
Author's Response: I kind of thought you'd like the 'allergies' comment Sherrie.  Our Justin is such a sentimental man.  You amaze me, my friend.  I gave no direct clues about our grey eyed mystery man and yet you zeroed in on who he might be like a radar gun.  Bravo!  I'll bet you can guess whether JR meets up with him again or not.  LOL!  Thanks again for your wonderful comments.  Hugs from Grammy

poor JR.... is this the calm before the storm??? who was this mysterios guy??? :-)) rose
Author's Response: Hmmm, who knows who the mystery man is...but I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of that young man.  LOL!  Thanks so much for your comments Rose.  Keep watch for the unfolding mystery.  Hugs, Grammy

I love quiet moments with Brian and Justin...  "They had the feeling it was going to be an interesting Summer." Me too!!! Hugs, Sunny
Author's Response: I will do my very best to make their Summer a memorable one, Sunny, and I hope you will continue to join me in their story.  Thanks so much for your comments.  I appreciate them very much.  Hugs, Grammy

toppy justin is always hot, great chapter
Author's Response: Thanks Sara.  I love the idea of them being so comfortable with each other after all their years together that Brian wouldn't even think twice about Justin being the topper.  Glad you enjoyed the idea too.  Hugs, Grammy

ah, they're going to become empty nesters. how sweet. better enjoy the summer while they can. i knew the kind of licking brian wanted and what kind he was going to get.  "Did I hurt you, my poor sweet Brian? Come here and let me see the damage," he told Brian, sympathy dripping from each word. "No way! How do I know you won't decide I deserve a couple more swats? I may never let you get near my ass again," he threatened." that was the most perfect play on words.
Author's Response: Thanks so much for your kind words Sherrie.  It kind of tickled me to think of Brian and Justin as empty nesters, especially when we know that Justin loved the idea of having a family with kids.  I just had to make it clear that even Brian had become comfortable with the idea of parenting and would miss having the youngens around all the time.  Of course we all know that kids never leave home forever, at least when they loved the home they've been in.  LOL!  Glad you liked that scene with the 'punishment'.  I could definitely see Brian making a threat like that, which of course Justin would know was an 'empty' threat.  Hugs from Grammy

Hey Sandra, I`m so glad to see that you are back. I hope you are doing fine now. I really liked that first chapter and I fastened my seatbelt for the ride. So go on please. Hugs, Sunny
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness Sunny.  I am so glad to be back with ya'll.  I'm doing much better now.  As Elsa Rose says, it sucks to get older but is certainly much better than the alternative.  LOL!  I'm really glad you enjoyed the beginning of this new/old story.  I think Brian and Justin are going to be on quite a ride thanks to their young ones.  Hope you enjoy the ride too.  Hugs, Grammy

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your good thoughts Thess.  I'm getting much better every day and ready to get back in the swing of things.  I've missed my boys so much and have lots of ideas running around inside my head for them.  Hope you'll enjoy where I take them...maybe a little slower, but not for long.  LOL!  I'm half complete with the next chapter of Shadow so keep an eye out.  Hugs from Grammy

Well first off I'm sorry you're sick. I hope have a speedy recovery, no illness is fun. Everyone is doing to so well and happy. It's geat seeing how they age. A great chapter. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Author's Response: I am getting stronger every day Jackie and thank you so much for your good wishes.  This story will look back at the past four years at times and then move forward also.  I hope you will enjoy the story as both Gus and JR step out into the world and face the trials and tribulations of being an adult, with the loving support of their various family members of course.  And don't worry...Brian and Justin will play a big role in the adventure, as always.  LOL!  Big hugs from Grammy

lovely start.  you are great sandy. have missed you. sorry to hear you weren't feeling well, it's good to hear you're recovering. i only have one question/statement. brian and justin tuckered out by 3:00? i'd like to think they went home and acted exactly like gus and jason lol. i mean they did rest up a bit to gather their second wind.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words Sherrie.  Believe me, I've missed you guys even more.  I'm not 100% yet, so it will take a little longer to get the stories out, but I'll do my best to keep up the updates.  I actually consider it good therapy to write for ya'll.  Now as to your question...LOL!  That little bit might have been influenced by how exhausted I get now.  Sorry!  Seriously, I thought it kind of comic how they had set 3 a.m. as their time limit for being out and after 22 years together, more or less, they can't quite make 3 a.m. anymore.  But, oh yes, I'm quite sure they were well refreshed after letting off the boys.  Hmmm, good idea for the next chapter actually.  Thanks Sherrie.  Big hugs, Grammy
