Awe I love that Gus was practicing his sign language for Justin and I do hope we see more of them together and that Gus gets to visit them in New York. Lindsey needs to look with open eyes at them and stop seeing Justin as this poor victim because that’s the last thing he would want.

Micheal is such an amazing friend to them both to go all that way at the drop of a phone call to look after Justin. I can’t even imagine how scared Brian must have been. I know I would have been freaking out big time. I do love that when Brian did get home Mickey got to witness what so few do their love and the strong bond they have.

I can feel how Brian is feeling here and I can’t blame him for how he was feeling aboutthe guys and their signing. As for Debbie she is great and she loves her boys and her signing needs to be better as well. I don’t think they realize how it’s making the guys feel. Justin sure is feeling so much more and I can’t blame him for crying so much. It’s not easy having to deal with all he is. I love Brian here even though he was hurt he still put Justin first and loves looking after him. They get each other and that’s a really powerful thing. Great chapter!! Eventhough the trip wasn't a total success - the whole hospital experience, overall I think they each had a great time!!
How sad is it that just being in a different country, and one that is full of tourists, who in some cases need to go to the hospital for one reason or another can't get adequate treatment because of the language barrier.

I think I’m turning into a greedy reader, I find myself getting caught up in a story and not wanting to take time to comment. Especially a story as amazing as this one!! I love your writing style, I love the Brian and Justin you created, and how you have stayed true to their characters voices, even in a unique setting such as this one. You have given the softer side of Brian a chance to shine, I have laughed, cried and just loved every minute of his taking care of “his boy” Brian Kinney style of course! I appreciate how you have treated the D Community with respect, my son-in-law is deaf as are four of my grandkids, my daughter is an interpreter, many times I have found myself in situations similar to those you have described. I learned ASL out of necessity, now it is used with love!

This is a chapter that leaves you feeling. Brian has come a long way, because I probably would throw up my hands and say fuck it all. It's the feeling I get when I tell my mother something and five minutes later she asks the same question again. That was so beautifully written, very emotional. I loved hearing it through Michaels voice. He is a god friend to them and in their time of need right now with Justin losing his hearing. A few years ago, I attended a QAF Fan convention. It was the first one where both Gale & Randy were there. At the final dinner event, Gale had to leave a little early, and Randy walked him to the back door where they said a few words... and then Randy got up on his toes to give Gale a peck on the cheek! Talk about hearts melting, LOL!

I am enjoying this story however I am finding it a bit confusing as it says the story is complete but you keep adding chapters.
Author's Response: The series is complete (or the first 26 fics of the main series are and I'm just adding bonus stuff now) but on AO3. It's still being added here (Kim's doing it for me!)

Gregory and Brian finally seem to have come to an understanding and Brian seemed happy that Justin was panicking about their being married. It let him know he's not the only one.

Gosh! One thing this chapter is not is boring. Justin and Daphne are always good, but throw in Emmett and WOW.
Thank goodness Emmett was there when Todd came out to get hims. I can't wait to read his version.
So now Justin wants to be in New York which was Brian's plan? The only part that wasn't happy was the fact the Brian worked so hard to get those accounts and blew it. It's kind of unbelievable yet something I can see happening.

Reading it from Justin's side makes a whole difference. Especially finding a bunch of new friends because they are Deaf too.
Author's Response: Definitely important to have that Deaf support system, especially since Justin's spent so much time settling for all his friends being Brian's first and foremost.

Wow, a story where Michael isn't jealous of Justin in Brian's life is so refreshing. And something I can't do. Best part is I can see this actually happening like this.
Author's Response: Thanks! There are some stories in the series where Michael's jealous, but I figured after this many years they've probably figured out how to work with each other. I think of them like brothers who don't have much in common; they love each other, they'll always be there for each other in a crisis, but if you leave them alone together for two minutes they're gonna start arguing.

I am so happy to see this story here! I've been reading it over at Archive, literally just finished Part 23 and took a break to check here and found this! I almost completely skipped over this on Archive, actually did a few times trying to find something to read on my phone while dog sitting, but then I thought 'what the hell' and tried it. Now I'm hooked (obviously since I just finished Part 23 and all lol). It's an amazing series and I can't wait to read the rest thoughout the week (or days as I've really got nothing better to do!) Great great story!
